A friend said they are still doing an investigation and that it will be next month before they get it done... dont know how much credit to give his source... she is going back to work and I am staying busy making extra money so we can really enjoy her arrival in a huge way... everything that could have been done to get the file looked at has already been done..now its just wait and wait some more... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NOA2 Finally! 7 months waiting...	My Fiance' and I are very excited! After waiting 7 months. We finally received our NOA2. We have been approved! Now what? From what I gather... We wait until the information is sent to the US embassy in Ukraine? (takes about 2-4 weeks?) What documents should we be getting together while we wait? I know theres some form of proof of income req... I haven't filed my 2010 taxes yet. Is there some other form of proof I can supply? (I am self employed) P.S. Did I mention we are very excited?!!! Congratulations! All the forms she needs are on the consulate website. Better get started filling em in! things move fast from here on out! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NOA2 :)))))))))))))))	I just returned from my trip with Elena in Ukraine. It was perfect. The icing on the cake was receiving the news about our NOA2. I opened my email on my last day and there it was. We all celebrated )))) How long does it generally take for the NVC to forward the case to Kiev? Will the NVC provide us with a Kiev case number? Or will this come from the consulate? Its all so exciting. One more question. I brought with me to Ukraine the letter from my employer and bank as well as other financial support documents and the K1 packet I sent to USCIS. I also filled out I-134. Is it too early to have these documents prepared? Should I have waited closer to the interview? Hope everyone is well. We had to call NVC to get the KEV number, I think it eventually came on a notice, but why wait. NVC can take anywhere from a few days to a few months. But after it leaves NVC all goes very quickly! All that is left, is for him to send an I-134 with proof of income or sponsor. everything else is up to beneficiary. All forms and instructions should be on consulate website. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	dos vers officer	gary the dos rep stated only doc they read in file requested was birth record and the see it they have received it and nothing else. no emails, letters or calls of request for anything or of a problem and this is hard part the not knowing Unfortunately the not knowing is a large part of this process. The fact they mentioned AP sounds to me like you will have a bit more of a wait! Use the time to find how to get her into ESL classes, how to get SSN quickly and find drivers instruction etc. Lena only has 4 months till she is eligible for citizenship and her LOC is still in limbo!! Happily it arrived in Odessa Yesterday!! 5 days after interview. 1 Couple last year in fact, here local now, had paasport taken for visa, and then took months to actually get through AP! Never really got a reason why or was not asked for more doc's. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	sveta,s visa approved	update the embassy called sveta yesterday and told her she is still approved. and by end next week should receive visa. the call center/tnt the embassy uses is not helpful at all they give very old infomation and the embassy told sveta the 15 day started nov 7 once her docs got to the department so took almost 2 weeks from when mailed Well that is good news!! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	NVC - fee payment online problem. HELP!	How long from approval did it take you to get NVC number? Hi guys! So on July 11, we received an NVC case number, together with an Inovice ID. I sent DS 3032 (Choice of Agent) to NVC on July 13. Now, it's July 20 - and we can't pay $88 fee to start the processing at NVC. My husband says we have to get another Invoice number from NVC, but I think that we already have it. Who is right and who is wrong? When we enter here https://ceac.state.g...ice/signon.aspx our Case number and Invoice ID - we can sign in, but we can't make payment. Any suggestions what it can be?
