We are so happy knowing that at least our case was opened already... We mailed the I-129F to TSC but we believed it was transferred to CSC since our NOA1 is from CSC... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Sent I 129F Express to TSC	Welcome to this journey!!! My fiance is from TExas too. As far as I know, he used the express mail to deliver our I-129F to TSC. He mailed it on October 7 and since it is a Saturday so the packet reached TSC on October 11. In your case, maybe no one was there to sign and received it but on the next attempt it will be ok...That happened to my friend too..Take note, that after TSC receives your I-129F it will be forwarded to CSC because TSC doens't process K1. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Do approvals typically slow down in January?	I am an October filer and I have received nothing yet. I was hoping this month but I too expect January because of the holidays. We are on the same boat...We are also an October filer & we are hoping to receive the NOA2 at january... A friend of mine who had their NOA1 on the 1st week of October already had the NOA2 few days ago, so since our NOA1 was on the 17th that is why I am also hoping for an approval next to her... Then I called my beautiful Marie and let her know the good news, even though it is 2:30am there. I just could wait. For everyone still waiting, good luck and be patient. Bryan Maybe this is a silly question, but won't the interviewing officer be suspicious when they see that the engagement came before the first meeting in person? Is that ok? Is it allowed? The initial engagement the we did over the web cam was not an official engagement. It was an understanding between Marie and myself that we have found the person that we are both looking for. I was inlove with Marie from the very first letter that we exchanged. I knew she would be the woman that I would marry and spend my life with. By the way, I really don't think they care about an online engagement, what they care about is that we met in person and that we have an ongoing relationship. Greetings!!!!!! i heard my friend saying that its not only 400 pesos to spend...is this true that need to prepare about 2,000????and more? does anybody here know how much to prepare taking these two seminars? i saw in the website of CFO that i need to prepare 400..how about the PDOS? i need to know so i can prepare..thanks!!!!! Hi dave)_ehssa, I wanna share my experience with you with the seminar...I attended the seminar in Cebu..The seminar was conducted by the St. Mary Euphrasia Foundation Inc. - Center for Overseas Workers or SMEF-COW office..Before the seminar starts, you are going to pay Php 250.00. Keep the receipt of the said payment because you are going to present that to the CFO office where you are going to get the Guidance counseling certificate. There, you are going to pay again another Php 400.00. If you have already your passport with visa, you can let the CFO office stamp your visa. Otherwise, if you are getting the seminar in advance without the passport with visa (like what I did), you are going to go back there with the receipt of the Php 400.00 payment together with the certificate so that they will affix their stamp... BTW, In Cebu...SMEF-COW & CFO office are located in different place... Hope it helps.... God bless on your med & interview...All the best! In doing so just make sure that you will not loss the receipt of Php 400.00 payment & the CFO certificate coz that will be needed so they are going to affix their stamp in the passport with visa... I'm working so I am maximizing my free time as much as possible, hence; taking things in advance if possible. I haven't got any other response afterwards. Is it normal to take this long? Do I have to get any paper work done before I get the NOA2. Please if any of you know send me the information. In our case, we sent our I-129F on October 7, 2006 and got our NOA1 on October 18, 2006. CSC sent an email to my fiance informing us that our case was approved on January 10, 2006 and that they mailed already the NOA2 hard copy. Receipt of NOA2 by snail mail was last January 16, 2006. I also have a friend on K1 (same service center with ours) & she is from the Philippines as well & we both have more or less the same number of days waiting from NOA1 to the issuance of NOA2. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Jan petition approved anyone?'	Haven't heard a whimper! Got NOA2 via email on 1/17. Should of been received on NVC by 1/26 or 1/27 based on VJ timelines. But it seems like everything this month is behind schedule. Feel fortunate to have NOA2. Several VJers with app date right after mine haven't been approved yet. They approved our JAn 10. But unil now we didnt hear anything from them... Calling everday and of course they said they havent receive yet.. OH MAN! hi daileydiver! oh, i see we have the same NOA2 approval date & the same service center...My fiance received the NVC letter with the Manila case# today. I believe yours is already on its way... My friend's fiance called the NVC & talked to a live agent & the guy said the NVC has a lot of backlog from the holidays. Infact, my friend's NOA2 aprroval was on the 3rd week of December 2006 but they just got their NVC letter 4-5 days ago... so, January approvals are still fine & the NVC letters will be coming in few days... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	The RFE Master List	In question #2 of part B of I-129F, my fiance missed to include my province name which is equivalent to state in the US. My address should be ___________, Cebu, Philippines but he forgot to include Cebu. The good thing I guess is that the entry in question # 15, Fiancee's address abroad is correct and complete so as with the one in my G-325A forms. We are like sad because we double checked and triple checked everything when he was here but never noticed it... We provide many primary and secondary evidences to establish that we met within 2 years prior to filing just to avoid RFE but now I am not sure already if we can't have one.... Is the missing part of my address is one of the reasons to get an RFE? or what are the other consequences that we will get?
