Doing a walk-in/early Bio is worth a try. Most ASCs don't even ask why you're there earlier than your appointment, while some are pretty strict and will turn you away. If you have a valid reason, that would be better, in case they'll ask you why. good.gif

I need you help. My name in my NOA1 is wrong instead of RIZalina , it was IRzalina. I tried to call Vermont but the receipt number is not int their system according to the recording. I need to talk to a real customer service . Please help. What should I do? Should I just wait for my ASC letter?

Biometric letter is not the NOA1 ( 1 yr extension ).

My Letter says Notice of Action 797


















Your 797C is your NOA1 - this is the 1 yr extension letter you can use for travel while waiting for your 10 yr GC. ASC is the biometric letter which you might receive at most in 30 days. I already received my NOA1 but unfortunately there is a typo error in my name. I called USCIS and made correction about it hopefully will receive another NOA1 in 30 days or just have a stamp on my passport during my biometric .

But it is an ASC appointment letter for my biometrics.
So I guess I will get another NOA which will extend it by 1 year.
Since my GC expires only jan 31st i will wait and getinfo pass 1 month before it expires...if I go now they wont stamp it I guess.

Yes, I submitted the originals since those affidavits were made specifically for the I-751. I did make a copy for my own records.


I made 2 sets of original affidavits for each person then submitted one set with my paperwork and kept the second set with me. good.gif Good luck, Riza!

At 3:30am I got another text message on my cellphone from USCIS informing me that my case is now updated. So I got worried so I got up went to my laptop and checked my case, the date now shows 2/4/2010 which is I guess a touch, but no change in the status.

I guess they are just screwing with me now :huh:


COngrats v333k! The prediction is correct ha LOL.

Anyway, the first email i got it was the date of my approval.
second email was the date of the card production
3rd email was the date the GC mailed.

I got my approval letter in the mail yesterday as well and it was dated 1/25. The approval date was 23 ( my expiry date too) . Looking forward to receive the card soon. Anyway, for those who are still waiting ... I pray for your approvals as well.
