hy, I emailed the NVC, because I had not contacted them, nor my attorney.. so I just emailed them and asked for any status on my case.... that's it...

When my I-i30 got approved, my info was sent to the NVC, they sent us a letter saying that there where no visas available at the time, and that they would save or info till they had visas available.. !!

So after requesting status info from the NVC, they sent me the DS-3032 and AOS, I will send them back on Monday....

The NVC received your case on Sep. 1st - right!?
We have Sep. 10th now. This is less than 2 weeks and they had a public holiday last Monday. Plus Sep. 5 and 6 was a weekend. So they had only 7 workdays to process your case.

Don't worry... you'll get your DS3032

Hi! I just want to know if anybody here at VJ who already got their ds3032 and AOS bill? NVC received our case last Sept. 01, 2009 and until now we have not receive anything from them. When I called the NVC and speak to an operator they told to wait until 68 days! is it true?? My husband wants us to be together before christmas.

Hi Jen F, in what I read its ok if you did not put the bar code in the email you sent to the NVC. and they say that its better if you also mail the ds-3032.
Did you wait the NVC letter to know your NVC#? or your husband called the NVC to get the case#? How long did you wait before you get your NVC#?

Because I'm calling the NVC and they keep telling me that it takes 2 to 3 weeks or more than that before they receive our papers.... hopefully not! have you read the barcode instruction? just follow that one, its easy girl but if cant "copy and paste it" then here's what you do, make the barcode, after that cut it and paste/glue it in the barcode box then mail it to NVC...it works! thats what i did...i emailed mine, but it was not in the system till 10 days and we were wondering why so we decided to send another one through mail. and guess what, nvc got them at the same time. lol. anyway, in our case, we didnt mind really if there was something being generated, so i cant answer this 1. but paid, yes it'll shows paid day after ur hubby paid the bills, such aos and IV.

My hubby received 2 letters from the NVC , the 1st is stating that the I-129F approved petition is returned to USCIS, the 2nd letter contains the AOS billing and the ds 3032 form. I have few questions too and i hope for ur reply.

1. Is it ok that i will just e mail ds3032 or i also have to send mail to NVC? My choice of agent would be my husband would that be ok?
2. After my husband pay the AOS what would be the next step? Would they wait for the ds3032 mail from me before they proceed?
3. My petition is K3/K4, what would be the petition to process first, the I-129 or I-130? Coz i read on some articles that it should be the I-129 but on my case it seems that the I-130 comes first.

Well actually neither of us get an email notice from USCIS, and only my hubby got a hard copy of approved petitions (I-129 and I-130), the first is returned to USCIS while the last one have send a letter to my hubby about the ds3032 and AOS billing invoice. I already email my ds3032 today and will wait for the confirmation from NVC after that i think we will pay for the AOS .

fastest way to send ds3032 is to email it to NVC but sometimes they get and update it late so some sends it through snail mail. i did both though.

after your husband pay the AOS, he then would get an instruction for the IV fee bill.

i129f and i130 gets approved at the same time but the first one usually get finished first coz there is no pay processing time for the visa like the last one. only you pay for it when you're done your medical and before your interview.

choice of agent is really your husband and he will be the one receiving any correspondence letter from the department of state in the future, but what they do is CC it to you so you'll have a copy for whatever they send to him.

i may be wrong but im basing it from our case...

i am confuse that u r talking about AOS,
u got ur NOA2 and now u need to do the DS3032
once u r in the system at nvc then u pay the bill
then u do the I864 and Ds230.
if u have the case number u can print the barcode and the link to print barcode is in vj, just search for it.
i gave u the link for the DS3032 format n all , u just have to follow that. email to nvc
and wait for the bill to be generated then u do the next step.

w2 is the record of the income is ur husband workd for some company or any where else. if he is retired then i have no idea but someone will help u in VJ.
i own a corporation so i dont get W2 so i did my tax returns transcripts from IRS, yes my wife got the CEMAR from NSO, u call NVC at 603-334-0700 and check if they got ur case in the system and u need to email DS3032 and wait for them to accept those then u pay the bill, then u send the I 864 and Ds230. there are so many people here in vj will guide u too. u can also check in the guide the short cuts for NVC. good luck, abby n sheryl

When I did our K3/K4 I did duplicate the financial information same as my wife for my anak.
May not have needed it but everything worked out fine for us.
I didn't have employment letters as I'm self employed.

I always go by ! More ammo the better.
Work for us thru out the processs and my wife is filing for US citizenship in 2 weeks!! kicking.gif

When did you got your approval from the USCIS? how long did you wait to receive your NVC# and NVC letter? All I know is you will wait if the NVC already received the ds3032 and they will send the AOS form to your husband after that NVC will send the IV bill. There is no timeline at NVC it depends how you pay the bill and send the documents they need

For CR1/IR1, your USC spouse will be asked to do a different Affidavit of Support form called the I-1864.

NVC will advise him when to prepare the I-184 and the supporting documents. But he can study it now so he can determine what documents he needs to secure. So that when he is asked by NVC to submit it, ready na. good.gif

They have also posted NVC shortcuts also. Go to the Forum where it says National Visa Center.

Hi! the USC just need to go to US embassy to get the approval to get married so, he can apply for a marriage license here. and your friend needs to get CENOMAR, BIRTH CERT. you can ask at civil registrar office in your municipal. It is more strict if they will have church wedding. My husband is a retired army officer and we got married here last January.

Yes. When your papers are at the NVC already, the choice of agent will be generated. You can send the choice of agent through email or snail mail. Others did both, but to me I sent the Choice of agent through email and it was accepted after 5 days. Once the choice of agent is accepted, wail until NVC generates the Bills for your AOS and DS230, you'll receive an email/snail mail for the bills.. pay them at online fee collection of NVC website. ( you need your invoice number so you can pay online) The invoice number can be found in the email/snail mail notification that they will send to you.

Prepare all your forms for the IV packet. (I-864 forms, and all components e.g W2s, tax returns etc. ) so by the time your payment went through nvc, all you have to do is to submit the 2 last batch of docs (AOS and DS230) you have to submit to NVC. Then wait for your case completion... have your medical, wait for your interview sched.. Pronto!




Thank you luvtechwifey. I will let you know as soon as we get our NVC#. I will call again NVC on Tuesday, hopefully they already got our case. But in the NOA2 hard copy the USCIS tells there that it takes 90 days before the NVC receive the case, is that true? why the post here it takes days or weeks only... hopefully they will give our case # soon like yours and other VJers.


Its just a standard that they use to save up their as$$es from never ending calls from us.
But try calling them on Monday evening USA time they might have uploaded your case in the AVR. NVC's site is under system maintenance right now,they are probably uploading new cases. good.gif
