Ugh-before I went to Jordan the first time, I was drinking absolutely NO pop! I was sticking to water, herbal tea, and the like... Then I went to Jordan, and the WHOLE family gave me such a hard time about only drinking water that hubby ordered me a bebsi-- I was caught AGAIN hook line and sinker! I'll pass on the coffee and have some chocolate rasp bliss tea and cream if you please Amazing how i was never really much of a tea drinker... now it's like m y life line durring a rough morning, and I don't drink the caffinated kind?! WEird huh? Waiting to hear from the other half weather or not he's heard anything from Amarex... He is sooo waiting by his phone, like a little kid wanting to unwrap his Christmas presents! Today was Moh's interview for citizenship and he was approved! We had the interview in K.C. It was veyr simple and very easy and only took about 15 mins. He was asked 6 questions, was told to write one sentence and had to read one sentence. They went over his paperwork and had him sign a form for his name change. Can't find the right spices here in good ol' Wyoming either --I had to mix my own spices, and just go with what I came up with for Maglooba too!--soooo, if anyone has a good suggestion of a website or place Ican visit to stock up on supplies, that would be GREAT! Also I found this yummy tea I just love- chocolate raspberry bliss-by celestial seasons... I add white chocolate raspberry creamer, and it is to die for! I was locked in there for an hour before I had to open the window to the balcony to get some air in my dungeon. The men were taking some time. My Husband patrolled the balcony and would not let me even stick my arm out the window to let them see me. It was very controlling but gentle and I didn't understand what was going on but apparently if the men knew that there was a western woman in the apartment of two Egyptian Males they may seek the police because morally it looks bad even if I am the wife of one of the Egyptians. We were newlyweds visiting and we didn't have our marriage contract with us because it was in process in Cairo for translation to English. Wael is right you are free to travel to anywhere. well i think maybe cause MENA men are kinda jealous and they don't like any another man to see their wives at least at their homes . well Egyptian police will not do anything when it comes to a foreign woman or man especially if they are American . cause the Egyptian police will not get enveloped when it comes to American citizen . I don't know if that is true or not kiddo-- Hubby and I went to Egypt with his brother, we stayed in a hotel- they were going to make us stay in separate rooms till he produced the marriage documents... then they kept my passport till they could make copies of it! His brother came into our room to watch a movie and "room service" brought us all drinks. sorry--But when I asked my husband WHY they were so nosy about everything, he said it was because they could call the police if "anything were going on" and we would all be in a lot of trouble then! But I must say he NEVER leaves my side for longer than a few minutes when I am with him. I chalk it up to he just can't go any amount of time without me since I am such a looker! HA HA! He has never had a problem with me showing myself in public-I do tend to dress rather modestly out of my own respect for myself-- I almost always have! However in Jordan I drove his brother to pick up dinner and really wasn't concerned that I was with my bro-in-law not my husband-- maybe I am just a naieve american girl in a foreign country--my 2nd HOME!?! Middle East and North Africa	Sunday	Wow Charles! right around the corner huh?! Happy Sunday all! I've been so busy- I can hardly find time to get online these days! Only reason I made it today is because I told hubby I HAD to have the computer so I can work on the kiddos preschool scrapbooks! He reluctantly said "ok " and I squeezed in a quick visit to check in with all my mena friends! Lots has been going on in my absence it looks like! Found more groupies from the looks of it- that's GREAT! I'll try to catch up as I can with all the gossip... and hard work that's going on with everyone else! hubby got his green card Friday-- it has an error- I called USCIS to find out what we had to do to fix it... they said print off form I-90 and fill it out... then send it witht he fees(if its our fault=UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS) and they will send a new card after the case has again been reviewed!---UGH! Well, we'll deal with it and manage thru it- at least he's here while we have this issue, and not worried that it is going to affect his immigration or slow things down anymore! Middle East and North Africa	Sunday	Bugs!!! YUCK!!! We have been seeing creapy crawleys regularly- my three year old is deathly afraid of "baby ants" (which includes the huge red ants that are stupid and slow!--they're smaller than her I guess that's what makes them "babies". Another snowy morning here in Casper, WYoming! Hubby looked out the window and said, " I guess this means no tennis this weekend." He called mom in Jordan today(totally understand the "yelling arabic") and they are getting 100 degree temps already! Sure wish they could send us some of that warmth! He's a lil disgruntled about the prices of things here- keeps saying "if I would have kown things were so expensive, I would have bought 10 in Jordan and bring them with me!" We can't seem to find his favorite deoderant-Nivea for men... and nothing here comes close in comparison. I looked at the bottle of the "wrong kind of Nivea" he brought with him, and saw it was made in Germany- I wonderif there is a way for me to order it direct from there?! YIKES thinking about shipping from Germany?! I'd rather go back to bed! I also have a Birthday party to get going for next weekend- I have one turning 8 on Tuesday! Several 7-8 year olds around the house sure doesn't sound that tempting! What's a girl to do?! Love these babies! Well all have a happy Sunday- and a great week! I hope everyone's day gets better! My son has his 8th birthday today, and we're getting ready for pizza for dinner!YIPPIE--Mom doesn't have to cook! Hubby has been working for about a month, and seems to like it so far,,, he made a friend, who drives him home from work daily. Its pretty cool! Not sure how long this job will last tho- he isn't making very much, but we all know getting a new job is easier when you already have one! We'll see how the drivers lisence thing goes. He's doing pretty good- drives EVERYWHERE we go these days... its pretty crazy at times! I guess all those years of observing other Jordanian nutty drivers rubbed off on him.
