The letter of intent is required in the I-129F application from both persons - so you will need to send it to your fiance now so it can be included in the application. You will need to do another one for later, after NOA2 and closer to the interview, both of you stating that you continue to support the I-129F/K-1 Visa. So I scrapped that idea completely. I instead took screen shots of the actual dates in the archive, from beginning to end, to show that we communicated daily. But that was just our choice, we figured they didn't really need to see the actual chats, just proof that we've had them regularly. Just my two cents! If it still doesn't arrive before you need to go to Juarez, then you can go early the first morning you are there and have them print you one out at the consulate's customer service info window. go to the mexico embassy web on top of this page you need to get your package 3 online read the instructions at the consulate. gracias!!!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	After NVC sent the packet 3 to the consulate	Here is how it works for Juarez: You need to get your CDJ case #, invoice # and beneficiary ID # from the NVC before you can fill out the DS-260 by calling 603-334-0700 Juarez will send the USC and the beneficiary in Mexico a letter. Sometimes the letter does not reach the person in Mexico because of the crappy mail system there. If the only one that receives it is the USC, it can be mailed or scanned and emailed and printed out by the beneficiary in Mexico. It does not have to be the original. The letter you receive points you to the sites where the instructions, forms and place to schedule your appointment and interview is. The letter is the only 'packet' you will receive. You should go to the links(which I am posting below) listed in the letter. The letter will be needed by the K-1 applicant at their ASC, medical and interview in Juarez, along with the confirmation page from the DS-260. While waiting, you can read through the reviews to see how the procedure works and what documents were needed by others applying for a K-1 Right...we know we need all that stuff to take with us, but is it possible to make the appointment before receiving the invitation letter? I have heard 2 things: you can make the appointment before receving the letter and if by chance it doesn't arrive in the mail by your appointment, you can go to CDJ before your appointments and they will print you a copy....Also heard that making the appointment before receiving the letter results in a problem. She's even going to start looking now for an inexpensive car for him to use, and poke around for job leads. Heck, she even hinted at more grandchildren (I don't think so!). My dad did react with "I just wish you could get to know him more in person first, and spend more time getting to know one another." I said "ME TOO!! (duh) And if you are going to buy me the plane ticket, I'll gladly fly over there and do it." He got my point. Hehe. I'm just so happy tonight. One more major hurdle behind us. One step closer to being happy together. And... our returned RFE has been received at VSC and case processing has resumed. I'm so glad it worked out well for you ... I'm sure you feel a weight off your shoulders now. I was a little concerned about telling my parents six months ago, they had not met Stephen in person back then. They took it better than I expected -- my older brother gave me the 20 question, my parents just were happy. They met him a few weeks later and they love him! They can't wait for him to be in the US permanently. Sometimes parents are just afraid to let go, and more afraid of their children being hurt. Again, I'm so glad they are being supportive for you!
