Did you do a research on the search on VJ- Somebody had the same problem.

http://www.visajourn...t/#entry6210513

I didn't read all but in this case it seems me that it was related to the G-325:

'On your Form G-325A. What was your response to the following?
"This form is submitted in connection with an application for:"''

it's I-129F not K1

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports2nd time for K-1 visa?

If there is not enough space, maybe you can write your adress on a document word, print it, cut it and glue it on the forms.

I think that it's possible.

Middle East and North AfricaPurchasing a Ticket for Someone Else to Use - Any Problems?
It's possible to do that.
You have just to call, tell i want a ticket from.... to..... , date, name of the benefiary.... And you pay with your credit card. But if you seem a little hesitant (doubt) the agent can have doubts, because they can't understand your hesitations.
There are a lot of people doing that in all the world. I don't think that an airline company will refuse payment from people who haven't the same name.
I already did that with no problem.

Good luck

Middle East and North AfricaAddressing possible red flags in i-130 -- EGYPT

My wife was 19 and I was 49. Thirty year difference, and she was still a teenager. They didn't even ask about it. This topic is one of the most frequently asked because there is such a high proportion of marriages with much larger age differences than the OP.

Nobody in my years here has ever found a case of petitioners being denied over an age difference. You do see people claiming it is a red flag, but none of them have ever been able to point out a case where a denial actually happened because of an age difference, or even an interview where a lot of heat was brought on by it.

It is also common for relatives to introduce couples. That is nothing out of the ordinary.

You said it, she is from Philippines. After 5 years on VJ, I can tell you that some rules seem to apply to every country except for the Philippines.
Just to tell you that I read a lot of cases where they are keeping people in AP from the MENA countries, for whatever reason or no reason at all.
The age gap doesn't seem to play against Filipinas, it not like that in some other countries. Even if Philippines is viewed as a high fraud country, a Filipina told one time, "The embassy is not so tough compared to some countries".
Me until now, I can't believe when somebody, after 10 days, find somebody online and said "it's the love of my life". That happens SO often. But it's out of my business, if everybody is happy, it's perfect.

Middle East and North AfricaAddressing possible red flags in i-130 -- EGYPT
The 8 years is not a big gap, some have a bigger gap. But it's also the gap between a 19 years old and a 27 years old.
They may see that as a red flag.
And the short courtship can be see as a red flag....

Like other members told you, learn his culture, learn to know him before applying. It's important for your marriage.
Rushing in a marriage, rushing to fill the papers...I don't know, somebody of 19 years old can do that, but when you are 27, you reach a little more wisdom.

I don't want to judge, just wish you good luck and a happy marriage. It's all I want for you.
Maybe it's not time to rush again, sometimes we need to wait in life.

I don't know really the MENA coutries, but I'm reading a lot of love history on visajourney, and I always tell my American husband that American people are gullible, so naive...I really never see so naive people, it's unbelievable.
American people have to know that people know the American culture by movies, stars... and for a lot of foreigners that does mean "that is easier there" and what they can do to reach the so called "land of milk and honey" are unbelievable. Marriage is one of them.
I don't tell that there are fraud anywhere in you case, but be aware of how foreigners can see the USA.
Sorry if I seem harsh, that is not my aim.

I wish you the best for your future.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresSocial Security...ARGH!!!
QUOTE (Glyn and Kathy @ Jul 18 2008, 05:04 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
OK, so Glyn and I have been here for over three weeks now. No social security card although we checked on the visa form that we wanted one. So, I call Social Security today like it says to. After 15 minutes of trying to reach a human the man says...I cannot help you and says you need to contact the DOS. blink.gif Ummm, ok. So I look online at the SS website and it too says to call Social Security if you do not receive your card in three weeks. So, I call back again and speak to a woman who then tells me...you have to come in we don't send them out automatically. unsure.gif Oh, I said, but that isn't what the paperwork or your web site says.
I am really frustrated now. I don't have time to go down to SS on Monday and wait there in line, which is why we checked the box to have one sent automatically. I wish they all would get their act together and figure out what is what. With so many different branches of the government, I don't think any one knows what the other is doing.
OK...rant over.

I checked the box also, but i never received my SS card by mail, and i never read on the net that somebody received it by mail after checking the box. Sorry.
I need to go with some forms, after 10 days after arriving in USA and i learned that you have a delay to respect before the expiration of your I-94.
Good luck

Hey All,

I am the US-Citizen ( New York ),
I wanted to know if only Vermont and California are doing the processing for I-129F's,
It seems that I read that there are a lot of transfers to those centers,
I'm wondering why they would do this, wacko.gif
Anyway, my fiance ( it's her profile ) is a French Citizen,
I'm lookin' to meet people in the same situation ( US Petioner - French fiance(e)) combination,
that have filed for an I-129 F petition in June, and that are also waiting for their NOA2,
It would be great to compare notes and help each other, smile.gif

Is there a problem if my fiance comes to visit me in the US,

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresI-134 destination ?
Hey All,

I want to be proactive and get ready to send my I-134, with accompanying documentation,

Once you get the NOA2, TO WHOM is the I-134 sent ?
The VJ site says it is to be sent to the fiance(e) ( benificiary ),
" Typically the I-134 Affidavit of Support will be filled out by the US Citizen and sent to the fiance(e) for the K1 interview."

State.gov ( NVC ) says it is to be sent to the NVC,
http://travel.state..../info_3190.html
Is the NVC the same as the embassy in these instructions ?
Does the I-134 ever get sent to the embassy of the fiance(e) ?
There is no mention of I-134 in the NVC's intructions,
I realize the I-865 is for AOS,

I briefly came across I-134 topic, but no mention of where to send,

Also what are the typical accompanying doc's ?
I discovered, 1. employer letter, 2. pay stubs, 3. bank statements,

Thanks a Whole Bunch
Good Luck to All

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresI-134 Revison Level ?
Hey Folks,

I am preparing to send my "Notarized" I-134 along with my "Notarized" tax transcript,
BUT, I noticed the Rev level in the Upper Right corner is "Exp. 04-30-07",

I went to USCIS & Visajourney,
http://www.uscis.gov...00045f3d6a1RCRD

Both are the same !
Any suggestions ?

I have read the DS-2000 of other people, and I have read the I-134,
I want to do just like they tell me,

1. Bank Statement - Date opened, total amount deposited in the last year, present balance. I have
2. Employer Letter - date & nature of employment, Salary, full or part time. "Pending"
3. Last years "official" IRS Tax transcript. I have

Are pay stubs necessary ?
I don't see any mention of these !

I have heard many people say 3 years ( which I have ), but will ONE suffice ?

I know the I-134 has to be "notarized", and I will ask the Notary to also "notarize my tax transcript(s)".

I have heard suggestions about doing duplicate I-134's,
Any suggestions ?

I also intend on sending a new "Letter of intent to marry", ALSO stating that we're "Engaged",

Have I missed anything ? Any other suggestions ?

You guys are Great !

Thanks

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresPacket 3 info
Hello,

I'm tired, the government doesn't make things too clear,

My fiance got her packet 3, Jan 3rd, after Barbados lost the first one Dec 4th,
I asked for RESEND on Dec 27th,

What do you return ???

1. DS-230 Pt I ( signed & dated ). OK
2. Checklist ( signed & dated ). OK

Additional questions

DS-156 filled out electronically, 2 printouts, 3 pages each with barcode on 3rd page ???

Is this hard to do ??? Do you sign and date it, OR wait until the inerview ???
Do you attach the photo's to the DS-156 OR wait until interview ???

Do the embassies accept CASH, where do you get money orders or bank drafts ???

What is this about OLD passports, my finace doesn't have an old passport, only a CURRENT ONE,

Folks, Barbados doesn't reply to e-mail, and the woman is not to keen on questions,

I'm trying to be civil, and thorough,

Thanks & GB

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresFree to Marry Form
Hey All,

Merry Christmas,

I am dealing with the Barbados Embassy, they aren't the most knowledgeable or helpful bunch,
They don't want to take the time to "clearly" explain what needs to be done,
They don't return e-mails,
It is difficult to get through to a "live" person,

Anyway, I was told that I would need to return a
1. DS-230 Pt I form.
2. The checklist.
3. "Free to Marry" form.

What is a "Free to Marry" form" ???
I have done Soooo Much research, and I've not heard of that,

They told me to fill out DS-156 electronically,
The DS-156 K is a supplement to the DS-156,
The DS-156k has "many" accompanying documents, and as such is intended for the interview,

Isn't this true ??

I'm trying to be as prepared as possible, State.gov helps me, why can't they ?

PS - I'm a little "disturbed": because it has taken 3 + weeks for the packet 3 to go 200 km,

Thanks

should i call them to see if i have to send it to them or just keep it for AOS?

Hello,
maybe you have to ask this question on the regional forum,
the medical clinic gave me two enveloppes, the write one and the big one with the chest-ray, the us embassy (interview) kept the write one, and I kept my chest-ray (they didn't need it).
After they send me by mail the sealed enveloppe for the POE.
Maybe the best things to do it's to wait for the AOS.

Good luck.

please does anyone have any advice??

Hello,

K-1 visa is a fiance visa, it's for one person living outside USA who want to marry a usc fiance, they fill out forms and the foreign fiance receive a K-1 to marry the usc fiance in America.
You can't apply for that.

The K-3 visa is for a married couple and the usc wants his SO comes in USA so, they fill out some forms and the foreign SO can live in USA with his american SO.

You don't enter in those category, you can use your passport (it seems me that the UK benefits from the visa waiver program) to go in USA. The only problem can be at the POE, they are a little suspicious on the ports of entries.

Good luck

Not correct. If you marry after the I-94 expires, then you must file the I-130 along with the I-485 to adjust status.
You do not have to adjust status after you marry, even if you marry within the 90 days. He does have a choice.
[/quote]

????
sorry i don't understand. I'm not sure to understand what you wrote. And, I don't know also the details of the process about the I-130.
But i know that it's better to adjust status- (to have your EAD, AP, green card and later for citizenship) for the K1.
He has the choice to marry after the 3rd of december, yes. But it's a risk, if they catch her between the 4rd of december and january (''before adjustment of status'') that she will have to go back to her country.
It's that i wanted to tell.
After the ''january wedding'' he can adjust status (i don't really know if it's an option or an requirement - and I don't really know if it's ''adjust status'' that i have to use) with the I-130, and pay, pay and pay again for this process. But, pay again will disturb me.

Yes, he has a choice, but there are also some risky choice in life, some prudent choice and some clever choice.

When i talked about ''no choice'' it was to tell, what is the clever and safe choice you can do in this situation?.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresFiancee overstay
Hello,

It's seems me that you talk about the I-94 whose the validity is the 3rd of december.
One thing, you have to marry before this date. It's an obligation.
After, you have to adjust status.
It's the process.
You can't marry legally in january, because if they catch her, she will have to go back to her country.
If you do it, you have to start again all the process about adjusting I-130 (they already gave you this information).

In conclusion, you have no choice.
You are forced to get married before the 3rd of december ( and not '' My fiancee is due to leave on December 3rd'')
And she can't go anywhere (outside Usa) now, before adjusting status (AOS), if she plans to go outside USA before receiving the AP (after sending AOS package), she can't go back in USA , and you will have to satart again all the process.

Good luck

OK this question is in regards to my fiance, he is getting the criminal background checks in the country he is currently in, and his home country. My question is do you think it will be ok if this information is not included if we cant get it?

Everybody will tell you, that it's better to tell the truth.
I remember when I filed my paper that I read somewhere (on one of the documents of USCIS) that for some counties Uscis does some exceptions (I don't remember the exact sentences that they use), but I'm 98% positive I read it on one of the form.
More likely when I was in my own country, so it was in the beginning of the process.

Read again the requirements and exclusions.

I find that everybody is a little harsh with Argitinian28- And people are not forced to tell on a website "I love my wife" or "I love my husband". It's simple, in my own culture people don't tell it. I find more strange to read some posts from some girls meeting some men online, she fall in love after some days, she immigrates, come to visajourney, with a name close to "love Y" (maybe it's a way to try to convince people). But they seems to be great wives. so...
Just my two cents.
Ok, he is just a male, and maybe telling everybody "I love my girl friend" is not his cup of tea.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresPotential Red flags for K1 application?
-I don't see any red flags regarding all the points that you mentioned, I don't think that the Us embassy will see some red flags.
But
Because you said that you were concerned, and when I read you post I didn't know if your were concern about we think about this case or what the us embassy may think about this case.
So
In the beginning i though that it was kind of her to be ready to give up the I-140, really kind. I'm glad that I waited to read the VJ members' opinions.
1) I met my husband online, it was on a website, they give you: the choice of the country, so when somebody find an American citizen on a website, they know what they are looking for: An American
I also think that they are more present online than other countries (maybe that changed, i don't know).
2) So you have the state also, and the location (not the address).
If you want to meet somebody in Buffalo, NY. You do a search of a man (single, divorced... like you want), Buffalo, NY.
And you have all the details, color of the eyes, height, age...
I don't think that the "randomly stuff" works for the dating websites.

You find what you are looking for on dating websites.

If some people met on a forum game, it can be more "by random" than a website. But... On facebook and Skype, I don't understand how the dating search functions.

3) I don't think that all those things are red flags or scams, it's more a security love (or sometimes economical love, don't know the difference) which according to me last longer that those kind of passion-2 year-love.

4) The last one is the I-140. It's more likely a scam, it's true that if you want to get out of your situation and anybody promised you a good job, it's normal for some people to be ready to pay some money for a better future, even 2000$.
If she paid 2000$, it's in the logical line of thought, I'm not worried about what is logic.

But my question if, "is it true that she paid this amount"? - I would ask to see those papers, or an address or phone number that I can call...and do my own research. I'm surprised that she never asked you to call, it will be one of the first thing I would ask you to do for me, if I were on her basket. I don't even give up 5 dollars.
So I don't understand why she is ready to give up 2000$ so easily. I would wrestle for it and ask you to check for me, and cry everyday for it.
It's a logical attitude, for me; so a part of me don't understand why she doesn't react in a logical way. The only way for me to give up this amount it's if I make 50000$ per month (lol).

Sorry, I don't want to be harsh, I have just this kind of technical view of everything.

If she paid this amount really, so she is a treasure of girl.

Good luck for everything.
