Of the last 10 VJ VSC K1 approvals, 3 were petitions filed in the second half of September. 2 of the 3 said they were not in the military. The third is has never made any VJ posts so we don't know if they had a military expedite. None of the 3 is from Cuba.

What the heck is going on in VSC?! Did they forget their first come, first served policy? Am I the only one starting to get annoyed by this?

I ask myself why VSC has so much delay compared to CSC, it seems me that if VSC has delays ( because of people from Irak, fees...), we should have seen much more delay from CSC ( God blesses all filers from CSC).
There are some illogical things somewhere.

Hello!

First at all, forgive my english but I wanted to share with you about my interview tuesday (the fourth of march) in Barbados;

I already send ds-156 (sign), ds-156K (sign) and ds-230 part 1 ( sign), they never ask me for ds-230 part 2;

The first step was to ask me documents (it was only administrative), she asks me for my birth certificate (i said her that i have a translation, she said "give me it"), my police record, affidavit of support, 2 pictures 2" by 2", she remove my signature on the ds-156k, she asks me when i intent to go to usa because it was written the 01 of march of my form) , one of the enclosure the clinic gave me (the analysis not the xray radio), and ask me where i lived in the past, she checked on one of the form and said ok, it was all.

After that, i had the interview, he asked me some questions: how many time we saw each other, if i saw his family, how long..... ; i always forgot the meaning of the "how long", he called a lady for the translation, I talked to her, she didn't really translate to the man but shaked her head when i talked, she was nice: his principal question was when started our relationship and how we communicate, how we do to know each other; the man shake his head, for him it was too much fast (I met my fiance in september 2006!)-
They said me to sign the ds-136k.
the man watched the pictures my fiancé send on the I-129 petitions, he shaked his head, do a lot of things with his face, i asked me if i will be approved , i said the woman that i have more pictures, she didn't reply; I said it to the man, he didn't react.
And the interview finish, the man talk to me and gave me a pink paper with my passport, i asked him "it is ok?" he replied yes and had a "small" smile.
The woman translate to me what he said me (i really didn't listen, maybe she noted that) that i have to go back to my country and send my passport for the stamp (visa).
I asked her for the "sealed enveloppe for the port of entry" her chief said that i will receive it with my passport and gave me a french translation of the pink paper (your visa was approved).
I felt that like he wanted to told me "go out from here" when he gave me the translation


He nevers asked me for more proofs, phone calls, mails, e-mails - I had a big bag with proofs.

I arrived in my country the wednesday send the passport the same day and the day after (today) it arrived in the us embassy in Barbados;

It was stressing but they are ok and do their jobs.

Hello All Carribeans,

My lovely fiancee had her interview today,
I will ask her to submit her "review" in her own words,
She said it only took 10 min,
The interview "man" was scrutinizing, and wanted to know the "extant" and seriousness of the relationship,
Apparently, he didn't dig too deep, only referrring to the I-129F documents,
Athough my fiancee had additional pics from our July 07 meeting in the US,
as well as e-mails and letters, etc,

The embassy asked for the I-134 & tax information ( I provided IRS tax transcripts ),
they asked for medical results,
My fiancee had to do her chest x-ray;s at the clinic, as well as the HIV test,
She provided also her immunizations,
My fiancee had to sign the DS-156 K, having already done the two DS-156's & DS-230 Pt I,
I suppose she also provided the DS-230 Pt II,

She purchased a DHL, self addressed return package for her K1 stamp on her passport,
She has too return to her island, then mail it to the Barbados embassy,
Barbados will return her passport with the K1 "stamp",
and the "sealed envelope" for her POE processing,
I think she said that they gave her a paper in the meantime,

It seems Barbados is very "inconsistent" with the procedure, so be "aware",
My goal is to help those who follow us, As much as possible,
I have filled out info on the Bridgetown Site, too help out,

It has been a while since I've been on the VJ site,

BTW, she stayed in a very affordable and nice guesthouse,
( $25/night for a single ),
It has easy access to a busline and taxi,
This particular guesthouse will arrange for someone to pick you up at the airport,
They reply to your e-mails !!!

Hey Folks,

Things are moving fast for us,
Our approved I-129F was received at NVC on Mon, Nov 26th,
And sent to Barbados ( Embassy ) today Nov 28th,
electronically as well as the hardcopy of the I-129F package,

A few weeks back
"According to state.gov ( 202-663-1225, x1, x0, VISA specialist ),
the NVC will mail a request letter to the petitioner with I-134 and instructions."

Today State.gov told me that NVC will not contact me anymore,
She said that I-134 forms & instructions will come from the Embassy,
This seems "inefficient" to send a letter all the way from "far away",
when NVC is in my back yard,

Does NVC Mail a letter to the petitioner ?
What does it say ?
What's enclosed ?
What has been everyones experience been ?

Please don't advise people to refile.
This solution can cause more problems than solve a problem. Some people wait a long time to have their NOA1, it's painful, frustrating. I know.
USCIS can handle one file by people and can you imagine what can happen if the same person applies twice.
More problems for the computer and more confusion for everybody.

Lingive: be patient it will arrive.
Maybe you already received it.

I just stumbled across this June Filers Thread,
I was in the habit of goin' to the Main forum,
then my fiance told me about the subforums ,

I'm still gettin' a feel for the VJ's website "bells & whistles",
Anyway, we are June 27 VSC NOA1 aproved filers,
I will pay closer attention to this thread,
I have seen some others, eg NOA2 to VSC, etc,
I wish their was a way of "consolodating" these,
cleaning up these subforums, there seems to be "redundancy",

I have seen a few "spreadsheets" that have been created,
in which you "click" on a URL, and eveything is laid out real nice,
Sometimes these thread can go "on and on", ya know what I mean ?

Our timeline says Adjudication date as early as Nov 7th, Weeeeee ! blink.gif

Hey I don't think there is any other language for VJ except English. Try this site http://www.online-tr...spx?prmtlang=en. It is a free website translation program. Although, the translation will be literal and slang will be imposible to understand in the forums. It can help you with the guides, etc... Good luck hope this helps a little.

I did some researches on "classification sought" and found some documents, if that can help you...
-classification seems to be the kind of visa you file for - I know...

I found 2 links:
1) one is pdf from the state departement (talking about visa classifications)

For me, it's a problem of your visa classification, maybe they didn't understand that you filed for a K1.
-Did you have a copy of the forms that you sent?- If you don't have a copy, ask your lawyer to check.
