thank you yes it was tough
but like i said we learnd to realy apriciate life to the fullest
susan dont feel you have to stop talking on how you feel ,
i didnt tell my story so people feel bad for me ,
I told it cose it is here on VJ where people go trough the same feelings as I do about this proccess ,
and like I said i dont realy talk about how I realy feel other then here ,
cose i know here at least people understand
as my loved once are in my heart forever but we have to go on do what we have to do
and talk how we feel or the stress will just get us down ,

Very true... my wife was the same and when I kept talking to her about it she asked me to relax and not bother her since she knows the outcome... but as uncertainty looms and the decision is in someone elses hands, then we stay on the jittery edge...

Once a person is done with USCIS, there is a high rate of people ending with PTSD ;)

I try not to talk about it other then what I say here,
since no one can realy do anything to spead things up and all it will realy do if you talk about it how you realy feel
is create unessessary stress ,
we had enough stress the last 1 1/2 years that will last us a lifetime ( we lost 4 family members motherinlaw grandma and 2 of my brothers ) and all while we where in the middle of buying our first home , yeah stress
but we are ok now and this pulled us even closer ,
so if USCIS wants to take its time with my file well i have time too :)

Customer service reps has no other information except for the information you already see on the website. If the cases are outside the processing time sometimes on request they transfer the call to an immigration officer (2nd level ) and they cangive some accurate information as they have access to more information than the first level reps

thanks but I already know about that ,
I just had to ask about the touches and see if theyr realy that clueless
lol aparently they are ,lol ( am actualy smilling about it , pretty sad we get more info here then from the so called pros working there , lol )

franticsky,

I totally understand your frustration and impatiently waiting for your approvals and cards. However, just tell urself it will happen slowly but eventually. I was once pretty depressed each time I opened the mail box and there was nothing in it :-(. I just stopped thinking about it ... it will happen although slowly but eventually.

May be u are smarter than anyone of us. But as I raised my 2 kids up, I would impart them with the importance of intergrity and honestly. It aren't important what the information that you have obtained in your so called "SMART" ways to satisfy your own needs, it is the fact that u have intruded into someone's else privacy. Just like me going through your drawers to look for information while u were not at home and yes, it is against the law.

Nobody is freaking here of not receiving their approvals, it is just a matter of time. As indicated in the website, the time frame is 6 months and you should get panic only when the 6 months is up and u are still waiting. And from there, u can seek assistance from the USCIS.

We got our approvals not because we KNEW it all how the system works in fact, we had NO CLUE whatsoever how they worked, we just sat back, prayed and waited (like anyone here is doing). And may be we got lucky and may be God answered our prayers or may be ... we are simply practicing the virtue of honestly and patience. We are not providing any "good advice" here but giving each other encouragements and support knowing how it feels to be waiting nd unknown. Like a support group exchanging information and giving support/encouragements to one another. Afterall, we are foreigners here.

About growing up......... guess we all are still learning and experiencing new things each and every day in our lives till we die. There are more things in life that are more painful and agonising that waiting for the approvals or greencards. Like when my baby ABBie was born 3 months early(@ 28 weeks old weight 2.2 lbs), she was in the hospital for 76 days in an incubator and I went through it SLOWLY but eventually and painfully for her to come home. The wait was 100 times worst because everyday was uncertain if she was gg to pull through it or not, or was she gonna suddenly stopped breathing coz her lungs were too premature to tell her brains to breathe. Oh well, she is now a healthy and smart 9 yr old kid who just got her 10 yrs green card:-).

I hope you can stop checking on others and just chill out. :-) for all u know, when one day u got an alert or email from USCIS informing that you have been approved, you will sharing with us here and we will all feel your joy.

very well spoken . I agrea what is the point of freaking out we already have the 2 year GC we are here legaly its just a mather of time to get the 10 year ,
I use to freak out but learnd to just sit back go with the flow it will happen when it happens ,
no point of freaking out its not like we lost our status once the 2 year GC expires we do have the NOA 1 wich extends
the 2 year for another year ,
as for the once who applied after us and got aproved all we should say is congrats as it is not theyr fault they get aproved before we do ,
at least it shows VT is still alive and didnt get burried under a snow mountain , lol
I will start to stress a little when I hit the 6 month timeline and still didnt hear nothing

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionNovember Filers

I am usually not that lucky :( I expect to get approved after March 7th (I know it is Sunday) at the BEST... I don't want to think about scenerios that
I may be filing citizenship to enforce I-751 to be approved if delay is the case...

Funny, I wasn't worry about anything when I filed for AOS and didn't check neither online status nor VJ (wasn't even a member). Here I am my life is well settled and I am very worried over something very simple....

I guess I was thinking during AOS "worse case I still have my visa and I will go back if they give me a hard time" and
now " we have invested a lot in this relationship and in this country what we are going to do if something goes wrong?"

I remember that conversation where they start at the bottom too ,
am the same date as you so who knows maybe V is right and we get a little suprice the end of the month
I wouldnt mind

It takes time for them to update the online status, if it ever happens. As long as you have the bio letter with the stamp and the signature then you should be ok.

ok thank you ,yes I do have the stamp on the letter , so I guess i will just waite
but am curiouse what could happen if she did type in the wrong application # ?

I went for my Biometric monday 21rst as of today there is no change on my online account ,
is this normal ,? I thought we get a touch after bio
( I hope she didnt mess up my aplication # , I pointed out the mistake they made on the apt letter with my first name ,
she corrected it but then made a mistake with my middle name luckly I caught it and pointed her mistake out ,
I noticed she had to backspace 2 x when she typed my aplication # in ,
she was very friendly but seamed to be a lil on the rush side )
just want to make sure that this is normal to dont have a touch 2 days after Bio ?

thank you but actualy am very relaxed and love it here:) ,
Mass is alot like germany with the mountains and nature :)
I lived in canada before I met my husband ,
I met him 7 years ago we where traveling left and right for 2 years before we desided to go for the K1,
I know all there is to know about the states to know the feeling in your heart your home away from home :)
I know you ment well but yes had to reply ,
cose like tracy said you will always be german in your heart reguardless of what the papper sais,
so yup when I go for NATS I be dual in my heart ,:D

I don't know if I dare to become US Citizen. I am from Denmark and they don't accept dual

I am german citizen too,
I was thinking to keep my german and go for US too ( Dual )
but wow what a joke to keep the german you have to actualy aply for some certificate about a year
before you even aply for US citizenship and once that certificate is granted then you can file for US citizenship
and then they want almost 700 euro ,
why pay for something you have every right to be,since you where born as a german and grew up there speak the language ,
ha what a joke yup they want to make money well not on my account
I rather pay for something I know it will be worth it,since I plan to spend the rest of my life here with my hubby :)
so yup I will go for US citizenship ( not now but in 2-3 years )

Any news yet for your approval? Makes no sense why or how it would take this long for you when so many others that file after you are getting approved before you, and if something is wrong, then why not send you a RFE within 30 days of applying so you can clear up whatever it is USCIS needs to approve you case. Strange. Hope you hear some good news. unsure.gif

I am a CSC and still waiting. I always get stuck in FBI check like the other times. Guess they don't have a good connection with Denmark
