I have a copy of the 129f packet for my fiance, a copy of what was sent for the RFE, A new letter of Intent, one year deposit history from my bank, 3yrs tax transcripts, employment letter, copy of passport,new evidence of on going relationship ie engagement/wedding stuff/ top-ups/emails/money gram ect., noa1 and noa2, pay stubs, check for fees Or pay online I864 and I134 just in case...Im sending him example forms for the DS 230, DS 156 and 156k, practice sheet for interview....He already has police certificate, shot records, no impediment to marriage, passport.. So if im not missing anything I need to call NVC for case number pay fees online once I have that have my fiance sign DS 261 or DS 3032 for choice of agent. Send everything to him?? is that it? what on earth! put the breaks on right away. Go back and read the guides and the flow charts for the K-1. The notice has to be picked up and then the person has to take the pile of notices and go pick them all up from the post office. Very frequent post / question on here. No I already answered that. You do not pay anything to the NVC the NVC does nothing with the case but give it a number and mail it to the US embassy. No forms - No payments - No nothing. You ask NVC for the US embassy case number. You do not pay anything until the interview time. NVC only gives a case number and mails it to the US embassy, they do nothing else with K-1 petitions. Then you would contact the US embassy and let them know about said delay so they do not think you abandoned your case. Your files sit and wait for the rest of your papers to show up. My mom (I'm the US citizen) lives in the US, so we can have the green card sent there. Do you mean I need to get a mailbox for question 10? I guess I'm confused as to how a mailbox will help. Thank you K-1 people are not mailed the green card after entry anyways. Your going to put your new address / address again on the forms when you file for adjustment of status after marriage. They placed most of the documents in a box not in order while the pictures that we met and passport photos and my birth certificate was placed in a plastic envelope and mailed separately. I will redo it again according to my cover letter less the folder and the tags. I will just placed a big clip paper on it. I just thought that it would be easier for them to check on my papers when it is in a folder with fastener and with tabs for easy scanning. Thank you so much again for the help. They do not want it that way. Thats why they removed it and have it set they way they would like it. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Approved I-129F sent to Manila Consulate, not NVC	Sorry but all cases have to pass through the NVC first and be given a US embassy number and put into the system before being sent to the US embassy. Regardless of what your NOA2 says on it the case will stop at the NVC for a brief time to be given a number. Call the NVC or the DOS and get your case number from them. A US citizen or LPR living in the USA can be a co-sponsor. Does not matter if it is family or a friend. The co-sponsor must meet the requirements for their family + the immigrant. You do not say how many people are in your mothers family or her salary so add them up and see if she can be a co-sponsor. No one can tell you if she can be if you don't give the details. There is a whole section on the forums for this. Have a search. This happens to a lot of people not just people from the Phils. Would make your case more plausible that "hubby" is just an endearment, while by no means proof you aren't married It wouldn't be more plausible. They talk about marriage in the USA and talk about husband and wife name calling each other - boom ship sunk they can see this as they already are married in the USA. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	indeerment	Hello guys I just read a comment from tahoma...which really bothers now...its not really intentionally mean but I ever since we started my fiancee and me I used to call him hubby well in his part he called me sweety..when I send emails my title page usually goes like hubby cause that's how I used to call him..tahoma said I have to watch out for refer me or him as husband and wife but its just an indeerment like mommy or daddy something like...I just need a peace of mind cause I think he sent our emails with those indeerments in it.. Indearments Hubby means husband, it is not advised to ever refer to each other as husband and wife during the K-1 fiance(e) process. They can deny you if they feel you are married even without a marriage certificate. If it looks or sounds like you are married, people have been denied for this and told to file a spousal visa. It would probably be a good idea for you to read the comparison chart in the guide section. K-1 entrants do not leave the country after. They file for adjustment of status and get to stay in the USA with their new spouse instead of being separated from their spouse for almost a year and in some cases over a year before they get to be together. I just used the only search bar that I could find on this page (upper right corner - it says "Google Custom Search") and it takes me to useless links on the Internet but not the links you shared within VisaJourney. Is there another search bar that I'm missing??? That is the same search bar I use, I typed "OMB" and quite a few pages for VJ comes up. Not sure why yours doesn't link you to VJ posts? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Application sent to the wrong address	Hi everyone, I thought I would follow up with my situation so that if any future applicant gets in my situation, they will know what to do. I got my application back in the mail 13 working days after it was received by the center director. Unfortunately, my application was rejected not because I sent it to the wrong address, but because of the amount on the check.. I wrote $240 because I read on this forum that the price had gone down $100 from $340 on April 14th. But I called the USCIS and they told me that the fees were still $340. I am a bit confused about that, but any way, I don't care. I was happy to see that my application had not been lost and that it was being processed! After three weeks without news I was starting to lose hope. If my check had had the correct amount written on it, I think my application would have been processed even though I sent it directly to a processing center instead of to a lockbox. It would just have been delayed a little bit. I can see that they started working on my application (they stamped a number on each sheet of my documents and placed my photos in an envelope that says "Department of Homeland Security" and on the back of my fiancée's passport-style photo, they wrote "I129F"). So, the moral of the story: be patient! If you made a mistake, it should get corrected over time. Do not send a duplicate application, otherwise you might get in trouble like the story in the link above. Thanks all for you advice! I still have another question, but I will start a new thread. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Application sent to the wrong address	I would suggest that you wait and see what the outcome is of your first mis-addressed petition. Throwing more paper and money at USCIS may only tend to further complicate your situation and compound your problem. This has happened recently with a few VJ people which is why i didn't advise canceling the check. They got RFE for insufficient funds when the check wouldn't clear etc and messed up their process completely. The USCIS processed 2 petitions for 1 person because they never canceled the other then denied the payed petition and kept the unpayed one asking for payment for a second time. If the K-1 visa is for you then you can certainly visit while the visa process goes on, however you will have to have your medical and interview in Canada. No work without authorization, a SSN is not authorization.
