We didn't get touched, nor did we receive an email stating that the NOA2 was sent, it just showed up in the mail one day. She will receive a package, or she may have to go pick it up, they should've given her instructions on how this will happen. She will turn in the package when she enters the USA. 2. The paperwork starts all over again, with AOS (adjustment of status). There are guides and faqs for this, found up top in the blue tabs. Some take longer due to name checks/slower ajudicators/other priorities in the dept etc. Again, there is no rhyme or reason to this process and trying to figure it out will only make you bonkers. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Will my I-129F (K1 and K2s) be rejected	Maybe because its easier when you have known someone for long, than start from scratch? The older you become, the harder it is to start all over. Am in 40s, and starting all over seems a nightmare at this point. If you have been granted US Citizenship, why do you need to return back to Signapore? So you would like to get divorced from your current spouse and bring someone else over from Singapore on a K1 Visa? Once you are legally allowed to marry (divorced) you are allowed to apply for the K1 Visa. You need to deeply reevaluate the meaning of love, companionship and marriage. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	On the NSC to CSC move, emails, transfer notices	which I have a question...my fiance is supposed to go to the USA and visit but we are worried she will be blocked from the USA does anyone know the answer if she will or not? There is no guarantee. It is at the discretion of the Immigration Officer. Common consensus among posters here is that the traveller should bring evidence with them that they have ties back home and will return. I carry a letter from my employer saying I've been granted so much leave and am due back on this day etc.. Other people bring leases, car insurance etc. I've never had a problem crossing since I filed the K-1, but I am crossing again this afternoon and there is always a first time I guess! It did finally arrive today though, preventing me from leaping out of my window. I am guess some of us are just on the slower side of the mail route. I really hope yours arrives soon. I certainly hope it means March people at CSC will continue to be processed first regardless of when their RFEs were returned. I am thinking we will start to see people with NOA1 dates in March getting their approval within the next few weeks. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Where do I even start	Hi, and welcome. In terms of getting Mohamed to the USA , you will have to file for a K visa. (He won't be able to just return with you after your trip.) The one you file for will depend on whether you plan to marry before or after Mohamed arrives in the USA. There are regional topics on this forum as well, where you might find more people sharing details and experiences of bringing their loved one over from a specific part of the world. Good Luck! My NOA1 date is April 20, and they haven't received my RFE yet, so I am going to be processed whenever I am going to be processed. I am sure his mom sent the papers and that he is divorced. The culprit here is the regular mail. As for him....Greeks are never in a rush! They just aren't. I am Greek, and I can tell you that my non-N. American Greek relatives are all very laid back about timelines. Perhaps this will make him understand that when you press him for stuff, there is a reason! you are not just being an uptight American. Hope you can get that extension! But how on earth is it possible that they submitted their petition on March 22 and did not receive an RFE and did not have to comply with IMBRA? Maybe there is some important information missing from their journey but I am truly baffled. I don't understand how their petition wasn't recalled like the others. I would worry that something might happen now, but I doubt it - he has his visa and I can't imagine at this point anything changing. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	How Low can you go...........	and how do we know that they don't have the ability to put some kind of alert or negative comment in the phone response log People are constantly swearing at our receptionist when they are frustrated by their case delays. Not only would her making notes on the file be possibly ilegal, but it wouldn't make a difference when the adjudicator gets hold of the file. I wouldn't worry. Now if you pissed off a USCIS Adjudicator, well, then your file just might make its way to the bottom of the pile, or security checks. And this: she then says well just be happy that your not filing for the 1-130 or something like that cuz we are packing loads of them up and sending them to another service center and those people are going to be waiting for ages is crazy. Not only is it incredibly BAD customer service, but... Now they are sending the I-130s to CSC too?? Why send them somewhere where they know they will be waiting for ages? Where is the logic to this? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Just Feeling Like Crap...	I used to be a happy person! Crabby only once a month. Now I am crabby all the time, and worse... insecure. It is taking its toll on the relationship. He is going through a job/life change, and has stresses about that. Just as his salary gets cut 50%, I will show up, unemployed. I respond to this by getting insulted and hurt, when really, it is all valid. Meanwhile, the separation and delay and homelessness in my life is making me need more attention from him, that annoys him. It seems a mess. This morning, I though "what if he didn't actually mail in the RFE? What if he is having second thoughts?" Because that is the crazy state I am in. At least it is easier for us to meet in person than for many of you, so I can't complain about that, though with his travel schedule being busy as it is, it is hard to arrange. And our last visit wasn't so great. I was hyper-sensitive, he was stressed about life. Blah. I can't wait until this is over and I too can look back on this as a little "blip" in life!
