Philippines	Question, How long will 2GO hold your Visa if you dont pick up?	Our Visa has been approved on March 24th. and we are just waiting processing and delivery. We have requested it to be sent to Manila 2Go for pick up.   What happens if the Visa arrives at 2GO and we cant pick it up until 5 days later or so? Will they hold it if we ask? If not then what happens and what is the other option of picking the Visa up in Manila?   We have other things going on and are just trying to time things right to pick up the Visa and finish the CFO process in Manila.   Thanks! Philippines	What if I get married in the Philippines?	Unless you were lucky like me. I couldnt afford a trip to the Philippines either. My wife decided that if she were to see me any time soon she would just pay it all. She bought my airline ticket and she paid the hotel bill. I just couldnt afford it at the time... job situation and all. We got married there on that visit too... going on 7 years now.   I guess that ruled out any concerns of marrying for financial security on her part though, because I had nothing, and she had to give up a very good and well paying career.    Your story is a nice one and I guess its one in a billion. I think the OP has other issues he or she needs to work out being that the original post stated "what is the quickest" way to get the Filipina to the States.   Btw I believe you are proud by the size of your PRINT and PHOTOS. Philippines	What if I get married in the Philippines?	so what is the process like for me to go there and marry?   What's the hurry buddy? You shouldn't even be asking these questions or have found this site yet. Get on an airplane and go do some real face to face time. No that's not a new App . Im not saying this to be negative but you really need to make a REAL connection with the person you plan to marry and bring to the USA.   Would you be willing to meet a girl online that lives a few towns over from you and commit to marry her without even seeing her in person and spending the good times and bad with her and meeting her family first?   They have outlawed "Mail Order Brides" for a reason ya know? Its to protect both parties.   Go to the Philippines and meet the person you are chatting with and then do it again 6-months later and if all the same feelings are still there then continue with your quest.   if you cant afford make to multiple visits and spend extended time with her and her family I would suggest to look closer to home for a bride. Philippines	Releasing of Visa	My wife lived in Taguig just outside Makati and it was still two weeks.   Little more patience, it will arrive.   Thank you Mr. Hank ?? My fiancé will be here in a couple of hours and for sure we'll have great time with the kids, I guess we'll have to keep checking our Visa status and call 2GO even we're on our vacation. Philippines	Releasing of Visa	It took two weeks for my wife to get her visa.  Don't forget the embassy was closed yesterday, so that adds a day to everyone's wait.     This is why it is stressed to not arrange travel until the visa is in hand... keeps the worry and stress to a minimum.   Thanks Hank and ive been trying to slow Miss Kaye down but she is one determined Filipina It might cost me a few extra bucks in travel costs but she sure has attacked this process and saved us some time and money. Philippines	Releasing of Visa	Hi there! We had our interview last March 24,2014 and we got approved. Upon checking our visa status, it says "READY" since the day after our interview. I checked every now and then and on March 31 I called the Embassy and says our case was reviewed and updated as what I can see on CEAC. I just called the Embassy again and asked for any updates and told me it's still on process and can't tell me how long it will take to get it done. It's been 9 days now since we got approved and still not moving. I wonder how many days more to get our Visa released so we can do the CFO seminar, my fiancé and his kids will be here in 2 days for vacation and we are set to go with them when they go back to the US. ESPECIALLY your affidavit of support and tax information.  That was what they really looked at.  Pretty much my fiance had a 3-minute conversation with a filipina interviewer and then another 3-minute interview with the US consulate and that was all really.  She got there around 6 am and didn't finish up till noon  Yeah, I'm trying to get every doc's organized and ready. Yes, I have my affidavit of support and tax information from 2012-2013.   I am really praying and hoping everything will be just fine, I'm kinda nervous can't help it. Philippines	Schedule Appointment	Not entirely true.  My fiance showed up really early and got everything done in one day, including her immunizations. @gwapowhatever LOL Yep, I agree! My medical could be done in one day, it's just that I have to wait and accompany my daughter with her immunization, so the doctor advise us to do it together at the same time. I understand   The nurse just asked if she wanted to wait for the results of her tests and stated that if everything was clear, the immunizations could be administered after the results.  She had to wait about 2 hours for the results then when clear, got her immunizations done that same day	Scott & Kaye	Male	Philippines	2014-03-05 07:59:00

Bit confused about that LOL About the Medical, can't be done in 1day..On our first day, I got my blood test, urine and X-ray done then my daughter had hee skin test then the doctor told us to come back on Wednesday to have our immunization. It's just a quick process, soon you see dates you wanted or closer or earlier than you have then just reschedule your appointment but before that you have to cancel your appointment and grab the date available.
