PhilippinesHow to pay Manila visa fees fom Texas.

I just money to my mahal and she paid it at the bpi branch in Davao. Then sent me the picture of the reciept and I scheduled the interview for her. They didn't give me any ####### bc I am the petitioner. Good Luck

well the OP is asking about paying not scheduling :)

PhilippinesHow to pay Manila visa fees fom Texas.

Actually it CLEARLY states that you can pay online through Bancnet, or if you're already a BPI customer you can pay online too. I tried at the time to pay via Bancnet, but I didn't have a bank account listed. But many in the Philippines would have a bank on the bancnet system.

Anyway, yes, we paid in person, but in the packet 3, regarding the K1, it does clearly state that you can pay in person, OR online via BPI or Bancnet. You would theoretically just enter her passport number in the transaction.

yes i know, but i would advice to just pay personally i mean the beneficiary paying it online sometime get problems scheduling their appointments :) but it is up to the applicant if they want to pay it online or in person. BPI banks are everywhere, sometime they're having probs of the amount sometime it is short of cents and they can't schedule because it is short but that's a rare case, anyways goodluck to the OP.

no. for k1 you can't pay it online, she should go personally, requirement for paying visa for k1 is the passport and they use her passport # on the receipt as her receipt #.

After NOA2 AND YOU HAVE YOUR MNL # (don't need to wait for the letter from the embassy )

(open all of these links then save them to your bookmarks so you have them for easy access)

Embassy:

http://photos.state....3__rtf2_003.pdf

The DS-156 can be difficult to complete sometimes, if you have issues try a different web browser. I had problems getting it to print with IE8, Chrome, Firefox, finally got it to print using Safari.

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/

When scheduling online with the embassy you need to include the "XX" at the beginning of the passport number, your passport number IS your receipt number.

Priorty Date; this is the date the NOA 1 was accepted.

Make sure to print two copies of the interview confirmation page as you will need one for St. Luke's and the other for the embassy.

Contact Info for USEM:

Embassy (Manila) Phone Number (and email)

(632) 301-2000, extension 5184 or 5185

** (214) 571-1600 or (646) 254-3546 (these are USA numbers)

local number: USEM 3012000 loc 5184/5185 call them around 3-4:30pm

To enable us to electronically sort the messages and provide better, more timely responses, you should follow the instructions below.

The subject line of your email should indicate the visa applicant’s last name, first and middle name (ex. DOE, John James), case number/USCIS receipt number, visa category and priority date.

St. Luke's:

http://www.slec.ph/u...l#required-docs

Have copies of passport bio page, confirmation page from scheduling interview online at embassy, and of course the 2X2 photos. (copy of annulment is asked for at times)

http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/

Preregister at St. Luke's, it saves time when you arrive.

CFO:

ALL exiting required to attend.

http://www.cfo.gov.p...atid=140#ThirdA

Required documents & "OTHER DOCUMENTS" they ask for at CFO: copies of; CENOMAR, certified birth certificate, bio page of passport, visa page from passport, pictures together, from USC - bio page of passport, birth certificate, divorce decree (if been married before) are the most common. The "other documents" clause can be ANYTHING with those nit-wits at CFO.

** From the Family Code of the Philippines: it's 21-25 years old for advice and 18-21 years old for consent.

Art. 14. In case either or both of the contracting parties, not having been emancipated by a previous marriage, are between the ages of eighteen and twenty-one, they shall, in addition to the requirements of the preceding articles, exhibit to the local civil registrar, the consent to their marriage of their father, mother, surviving parent or guardian, or persons having legal charge of them, in the order mentioned. Such consent shall be manifested in writing by the interested party, who personally appears before the proper local civil registrar, or in the form of an affidavit made in the presence of two witnesses and attested before any official authorized by law to administer oaths. The personal manifestation shall be recorded in both applications for marriage license, and the affidavit, if one is executed instead, shall be attached to said applications. (61a)

Art. 15. Any contracting party between the age of twenty-one and twenty-five shall be obliged to ask their parents or guardian for advice upon the intended marriage. If they do not obtain such advice, or if it be unfavorable, the marriage license shall not be issued till after three months following the completion of the publication of the application therefor.A sworn statement by the contracting parties to the effect that such advice has been sought, together with the written advice given, if any, shall be attached to the application for marriage license. Should the parents or guardian refuse to give any advice, this fact shall be stated in the sworn statement.

PhilippinesIs it possible for me to schedule interview now?

This thread was exactly what I was looking for. I got my case number earlier this month, called the NVC and found out they sent the case to Manila on 22 June. Everytime I call the embassy, they say that the case was received electronically but was told that I couldn't schedule the interview until the physical package is received. After reading this thread, I'm just going to say screw it and schedule the interview 2 or 3 weeks out. Besides the medical, all the required documents are in hand. Praying everything works out....

did you ask NVC to give you the MNL case # even just tru phone? you can also get when you email NVC, the # is all that important to continue setting the appointment. and if you do your medical and they ask you about your MNL case # just tell slec that you don't have the hard copy yet that it is still at your fiance but you do know the # just wright it on a paper, Plus they will ask for the confirmation letter of your interview, but the 2 things i said is also optional, you can do the medical even you don't have MNL case # and interview date yet you can still do the medical, it is weird here in PI :) but reminder the validity of your visa will be based on the validity of your medical, medical's validity is only 6 months, so if i am the one going to go to my interview i'll do my medical a week or 2 before my interview date so that i have enough time and i won't have to hurry :) BUT if you get your visa few days before your medical expires USEM will call you if you're going to fly so soon or not yet so soon they will ask you to re-do your medical they send it to them then you'll get a visa with 6 months validity :)

PhilippinesIs it possible for me to schedule interview now?
the other reason why you'll see receipt not found is that the receipt sometime takes time before it gets into their system, sometime it takes 4 hours to 24 hours before you can set your appointment after paying your visa, but sometime takes a little bit longer, but it doesn't mean your case isn't in the USEM yet, i know about it because we have friends working at USEM, you don't have to wait for the package to be physically present at USEM on the time you're going to set an appointment because once there's mnl case # it is already in their system/computer, a lot of my friends ask me to set their appointment for them and i seen once you enter you MNL case # you'll see your name and some info. are already there i have 4 friends that after getting their MNL case # they paid their visa then the next day they asked me to help them setting their appointment because they don't know how to do it online because we can't deny it is really hard to connect tru phone call i did set their interview and i set their appointments they are close friends i am happy they trusted me :) and it takes 2 weeks or less before the package gets at USEM so within that time you can do your medical and gather all the docs you need before going to your interview. but if you're not really in a hurry to be with your fiance/e it is ok to just wait :P
hcdtFemalePhilippines2012-07-01 21:18:00
PhilippinesIs it possible for me to schedule interview now?
you do not have to wait for your case to get to manila because they already have it in their system, and I'm sure you're not going to go to your interview right away you still need to do the medical, while doing the medical and gathering the docs you need your docs will be already at USEM, there's a lot of my friends that after getting their MNL case # even without hard copy they paid their Visa and set an appointment. as long as you have your case number you're good to go, when doing medical they asked for interview confirmation letter not the NVC letter, even on your interview UNLESS if you're cr1,
hcdtFemalePhilippines2012-06-29 20:06:00
PhilippinesIs it possible for me to schedule interview now?
you can now pay your visa at any BPI branch, set your interview appointment and do the medical before the interview, the USEM isn't sending instruction letter anymore for k1 applicants you can download it at their website but you are good to go as long as you have your MNL case #.

congratulations :)

PhilippinesCFO announcement and new Schedules

This is confusing the %$^ out of me for some reason. One place says the counselling (and interview?) is done at CFO office (where you pick up the sticker now) and no longer done at PRISM and SMEF-COW after July 16th, then states SMEF-COW is still going to still do it until Sep. It also states only 12 people a day for US then later says 70 people a day...

I am sure the OP is correct in the information but I'm completely confused with regard to what, where and when has to be done so my fiancee has checked all of the boxes.

I don't mean to complain, but my brain is burned out from trying to explain the entire process (foreign police clearance, medical, CFO and interview) over the phone with a bad connection lately.

me too i am confused also with the peer counseling 70 slots a day and that 12 slots a day, but that's what they put on their website, but i don't think they will only give 12 slots a day for fiance and spousal since there's a lot of applicants :) so i am thinking we're going to be either in 70 slots or 12 slots :) yes on july 16 there will only 2 offices going to give seminar then after September only CFO manila will give seminar, a lot of my friends are going to get seminar before the 16th so that all they have to do when they get their visa is to have their CFO sticker :)

did i understood it correctly that we have to attend Guidance and Counseling and Pre-departure orientation in 2 separate days? and also dont they accept reservations anymore? thanks :)

ever since it is first come first serve :) it is only 1 day you're going to get the sticker right after the seminar IF you already have the Visa when you did the seminar but if you don't have the visa yet you can still do the seminar but you need to go back to get your sticker once you have your visa, i think what they're saying in their announcement that after September it will be one office who will give seminar here in Manila as of now there's 3 offices giving CFO seminar but After July 16th there will be only 2 then after September there will be only 1,

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsAm I worrying too much???

i agree with you that it doesn't make sense at all, but i just had to tell you that so you know what crazy things uscis/nvc look at. to be on the safe and sure side, just say you met in june and gather your docs around that time, right? it's not a suspicion of fraud per se but the technicality of still being married and "right away"
just to be on the safe side (although your fiancee is not in a fraud hot country).

anyway, another thing is don't show and mention the pre-nup photos you have because as crazy it may sound COs are sensitive when it comes to phontos that hint of marriage rites and celebrations, trust me on that one. show "neutral" photos instead such as those trips you took and mix it too with photos of you and her family, ffriends, workmates =)

i say better safe than delayed and, worse, sorry =)

Maybe Zenden can provide specific examples of this being an issue in the Philippines. It wasn't an issue at all for me nor was it ever brought up
by the CO during the interview. This is solely based on my experience.

- i was separated Oct 2009
- decided I would file for divorce Apr 2010 after much soul searching
- met Patty May 23, 2010
- filed for divorce July 2010
- met Patty in person Oct 2010
- divorce became final Mar 23, 2011
- filed for I-129F April 1, 2011
- Patty has now been here in California with me since Sept 2, 2011

You've met one of the primary requirements of the I-12F which is having met in person within the last 2 years. Now, you're both gathering and
saving as much evidence/documents to use as proof of a genuine relationship. It seems you have all this covered including the affidavit of
support (I-134) requirement. so, I don't see any issues with your situation. The worst thing you can do is to change your story and/or tweak
the dates to give it an appearance that you met after finality of your divorce especially since you already divulge this information on the I-129F.

You should be fine and good luck!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsRFE: Met my fiancee within the required 2 year period?

To clear things up , I always go back to Philippines every year (2004-current year) as a matter of fact I'm planning to fly there this month.

Anyway thanks to everybody for chiming in to help and give encouragement  . I was just a bit confuse as to the mentality of the USCIS officer. Its very obvious I'm in constant communication and actively supporting my little family in Philippines(with all the documents and photo I sent before). But since the rule is to show evidence of 2 year actual meeting then it shall be. I will send them specifically the 2010-2012 evidences.

Its nice to know you guys are here to give support and advice.(Like a family!)

Thanks!

good luck :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsRFE: Met my fiancee within the required 2 year period?

I think it's better to wait a bit and just let the OP respond to the question (did you see each other within the last 2 years or not) before repeatedly giving all the what-ifs, don't you think?

yes that is why i said "if they really didn't meet", but just reading what uscis message to OP gave the idea they didn't meet again after 2009, if it is true that he sent evidence then why he didn't include the evidence if he went here within 2 years right? i know he was confused of 2 years relationship with meeting within 2 years. i just hope they do because it is not easy to deal with USEM here in Manila, if uscis allow them USEM will not, if he have passport stamps from 2010 to 2012 that will make everything ok :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsRFE: Met my fiancee within the required 2 year period?

They asked for evidence from January 2010 to January 2012 because he filed in January 2012. And as per the rules, he had to prove they have seen each other in the previous 2 years leading up to his filing. Which would have been January 2010- 2012.

The OP was confused by this. He thought that he needed to prove that they have been together for at least 2 years. So he showed proof from very early on in his relationship instead of the most current.

exactly my point, they can't answer the rfe because they can't turn back the time, they have 3 options if they really didn't met within 2 years. just let the petition get denied and meet then refile, withdraw the petition then meet then refile make sure to keep all the evidence or withdraw the petition meet get married and file for cr1.

If you have stamps in your passport between the years of 2009 and 2012, by all means...copy your passport from front cover to back cover...every single page and send it to the USICS address immediately. Don't forget to add the orig. letter they forward to you for the addition RFE. That should solve your issue immediately. (Do one better...make it a complete color copy!) God bless your journey!

i hope and pray he have stamps on his passport :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsRFE: Met my fiancee within the required 2 year period?

The OP said they had a child in 2009 and visits 2-3 times per year. Where does it say the OP hasn't been with their fiancee since 2009?

I met my fiancee way back 2004. We have a child on 2005 then another on 2009 so all in all we have 2 kids. I periodically fly to manila maybe 3-4 times/year to be with them.

I would think our case would weigh more because we are more than two years and we have kids!

there he didn't say he visited them 3 to 4 times a year after , what we want to know here is when was the last time he visited here if he visited last 2009 and nothing more then i will stand with my previous answer, but if he visited them in 2010 till 2012 then that's another story.
