IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	The NVC Moral Support/Ranting Thread	How is everyone? Hope you are all having a good weekend and ready for some CC this week!!! I know there are a few of you who will be getting one soon!   As for me, it is Monday here in Oz and I have a day off. I am trying to gather all of our documents for my husband to take to his interview next month.  We can't really afford to both fly to Sydney for it, so I have to trust that he knows where everything is (since I am the one who has done ALL of the paperwork up to this point, he wouldn't even know what an AOS was if they asked him). So, I am labelling everything in a folder so hopefully he can find it if/when they ask for it.  I think I must be a control freak!  I am seriously considering going with him?.   And, right now he is being poked and prodded at his medical. Poor guy has a fear of doctors and needles.  I was worried he just wouldn't go to the appointment, but he has already called me asking what his case number is so I know he arrived.       Hahahaa hi Amanda lovely to see you and I fear the same thing when it's my husbands time, God willing heheheeeee.  He doesn't fear needles but he wants me with him and it most likely will be impossible unless I win the lotto. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	The NVC Moral Support/Ranting Thread	I did not request it at uscis stage Two months ago my mother moved in with me and by then I was already four months into the process and my mom is very ill and unable to do things for herself anymore. So I am now her primary and only caregiver. Her doctor did give us a letter stating all that was wrong and that she can no longer care for herself and that I was her caregiver. And well it is not my life or death, it is hers. obviously is caused him great deal of emotional stress but I also had to cut my hours down to five or six a week. Anyway I am not sure what they will say. Enough whining Because I am not sorry that I have my mom. And never will I be. It's actually been really nice having her here laughing with her talking with her. I just wish it wasn't for this reason. So anyhow, I just received my NOA2 and have yet to do anything else. So I haven't sent any papers in and I haven't been given a case number either. So I was thinking I would hang onto the papers until I have a decision from them. Pray for us especially my mama!        I will be praying for you, my situation is basically the same.  I had to come back from Egypt to take care of both my parents (I also don't regret this) because they also are no longer able to talk care of each other.   Every Embassy is different so I have hope they will grant you the expedite but the Egyptian Embassy notorious for it's nastiness refused me twice.   Just keep in mind them might refuse you but you have a lot of people her praying for you.  God bless you and your beautiful mother. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	The NVC Moral Support/Ranting Thread	My husband just recieved a snail mail telling us that they updated our mailing address/email address when we didn't change anything. And it was addressed to me. Should I call on Monday to check? I did give them our email addresses on 9th of June. This surely can't be the mail addressing to there months before right?   Don't worry about it many have gotten those letters but yes call just to be safe.   Monday Monday Monday tomorrow folks - another day for...   Hahahahaha I can see them now and yes finally Monday geeeeeeeeeeeeez it took forever!    I am applying for an expedite sending the email off tomorrow and I am not going to send any documents until I hear from them. Do you guys think that's wise? Because I keep hearing different stories send to them, don't send to them , wait and give the embassy. So idk  I for one think it's a good idea to keep your documents just in case they approve your expedite.  I think in the long run and God willing you get it, it will make life a lot easier for you. That's when you can request an earlier interview date, which I just did since we finished our medicals last week. Any one knows how to print or save the status message frame?   Ready for what may I ask?   Thank you I would have had no idea about the added digits on the case number. Ty so much. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	The NVC Moral Support/Ranting Thread	Blerg...Just spent my whole Saturday gathering paperwork and making sure that we have triple copies of everything that we will hopefully soon mail off. I guess I'm getting ready for NVC to give me the go ahead.    How the heck do we know if we can do EP? I understand if your NVC number starts with a certain amount of letters but do we have somewhere where we will know if we *CAN* do EP or not? And does anyone know if it's better to EP or to mail? (please don't kick me for asking questions in the thread!!   )   Hope everyone is having a FAAAAB weekend and perhaps some of us are enjoying the weekend!     Welcome to the thread and you can post anything but insults on this thread hahahaa don't worry.  Let me look at Saylin's Wiki I think it has something about it there give me a few minutes. I dont know how my 20 year old child   got approved without requesting it.    I am worried sick though because i dont know if they did/will send the  AOS/Civil documents which is common sense.   But i spoke last night with NVC operator (which didnt know the expedite was approved until i tolled him ) he informed me that the civil docs will be returned to me WHEN they review them and see that there is no case at NVC then i will have to send them to my wife. It  doesnt make sense at all.     They must have hired one person with a brain and figured everything out so shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh don't say a word about your child hehehe you were lucky.      Not sure but I heard they send the AOS and IV to the Embassy someone correct me if I'm wrong.  What sense would it make to send it to you, but then when have they ever made any sense.   I would call again not all customer reps know what they're talking about and if possible speak to Silvia the supervisor I have heard she is very good and kind.   It' s worth a try and also send an e-mail to your Embassy it takes them two to three days to respond, I would also ask them if they accept copies of the documents since it's possible the originals wont be there in time. I'm sure they will accept it and you will at least have proof they accepted and have your wife take a copy of the e-mail also.       Know many of us, I for one will be praying for this to work out smoothly for you.  God bless you and your beautiful family you will see all will workout. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	The NVC Moral Support/Ranting Thread	I wouldn't worry about it since they haven't checked your Singaporean police certificate yet.       It's a false checklist generated based on your current info since they still need to receive your Singaporean police certificate.     I don't think they were able to find your Singaporean police certificate document when they reviewed your AOS package.  NVC doesn't have the resource to look for a specific package due to tons of mail they receive everyday.     What about NVC checking both AOS and IV packages together?      Not if you're sending packages by mail.  They can only do it for EP people since they can search by their case number to look for their other package.  It takes no time to do an MS Outlook search (or whatever the email system they're using), but it takes forever to look for a particular piece of mail (so they don't bother)!   That's why they're now asking you to send the AOS and IV packages together.     Relax and enjoy your weekend.         God bless you, your such a treasure! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	The NVC Moral Support/Ranting Thread	Basically, there is no order at the NVC, no real rules just guidelines .   First complain is that it took forever to pay the IV fee, not only cause of the backlog, but cause of my DS-261 after the NVC updates their website kept turning randomly to incomplete, so of course each time i see incomplete i completed it, and each time i did that the counting time to pay the IV fee starts from the start, but anyways we spoke to a supervisor and got it fixed kind of ...   Second Complain, ridiculous checklists ! we got a checklist  on the I-864A of our co-sponsor physical and postal address are the same, so where it says your postal address (if different) she left it blank instead of putting N/A (following the instructions) and we got a checklist for that, so we get a checklist for following their instructions ? We have also noticed that they have sent us a checklist for only one of the I-864A's but not for the other that also had the place of residency part Blank instead of n/a, would this have meant that we would have received another checklist after re-submitting the updated form ?  Costing us more time apart? we however updated both I-1864A's just in case cause we want to avoid any other checklists. The NVC could of at least informed us on their website that their requirements are different and not to follow the published instructions. When we asked a supervisor at the NVC if at we could have our application put at the top of the work queue once it arrived (since it was hardly our fault the NVC did not inform us of their requirements), We were informed that they ?don?t do that.?   Third Complain, giving interview dates out of order ... The only things I love about high school, was history, English classes, prom, date nites, and graduation day. I had only 4 good friends. The late eighties was a riot, ugly mullet hair(aqua net hair spray), ugly puffy dresses, wearing ankle socks with heels, leg warmers etc. But I guess those days were a little slower than today(technology). oh well time to focus on my daughter' time. I got an cc on sept 17th, on sept 18th I got an email from nvc for a checklist on my asos, that my husband the petitioner must correct all items and have me take it to my interview. They said part 3 info on the sponsor was incomplete, but we got one of those in july n he missed an n/a and corrected it n resent, he said he doubled check everything n filled out each thing. Do u think this was a false checklist or an actual one, thing is we don't know what in part 3 of sponsir info is incomplete or missing WOW can you copy and past it here but make sure to remove names and Case numbers etc.  It's easier to see if it's false or not or what needs to be fixed if anything. Ty    Checklist question: On the line with NVC; got through at the 3rd dial. Today I am calling to find out more info on a checklist I received yesterday that says they have received my DS230 and will review it when I send them the civil documents for the applicant. I sent the IV packet on August 8th, so this checklist makes no sense to me...Has anyone received this kind of checklist?   WOW what, the DS-230 is no longer used correct?  Would you copy and paste here removing names and case number just for the heck of it.  Who knows my friend there just might be a miracle in the works.       Congrats Soloenta! I didnt sleep well last night. I am starting to dream about problems at NVC stage, like other vjfilers..... But the date of the letter is Sept. 19th. So which one is the "Scan Date"?   The waiting begins.....now....   GOOD LUCK!! Praying for you and hope you get a nice CO. Let us know how it went.    It's only one day I don't think it matters much I would use the 18 Th  Woooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooo  praying all goes well and you wont have to wait over 60 days.   Same here. Too scared to call them.................   I know the feeling well , I didn't call just don't want to.   They have brought us to this.       Sorry I noticed the question is stupied. Of course, the date is when the case is completed. I didnt sleep well last night. I am starting to dream about problems at NVC stage, like other vjfilers..... I don't think have called them up to 10 times. But I'll definitely tonight.   Same here and their condescending attitude.   Yeah, I am so looking forward to meeting, some of my classmates. I already communicate with some. My sis 30th reunion was this past June in New York.   It's funny for me, I kept getting put up a grade so by the time I was in High School I knew people from ever year hahahaa and most much older than me.  All I wanted was to GET OUT and start my life.  I always thought it was such a waste of time.  The day I graduated was one of the happiest days of my life.  Couldn't believe my friends were crying.    I know people must think I talk a lot etc but I'm actually a very quiet person.  I still talk to three people from HS see them once a year the rest I can live without seeing. hahahaaa  They were nice but not my cup of tea	Soloenta	Female	Egypt	2014-09-19 05:37:00

I clicked on update and it said to ONLY change what was needed to not update anything else unless something needed to be corrected but of course couldn't be that easy wouldn't let me update it kept asking me for info already on the flow sheet   Saylin usually does this for me. hahaha I feel like such a big baby.     Hey I would gladly pay you if I had the money .   But I don't think you would be able to pull off my voice. Sent a request to change consular then a month later got a respond email, stating my case is still being process through the same embassy which I've been trying to get it change the the past 2 months! Love how they don't read the entire mail before click reply!      WOW I'm so sorry I think you'll most likely have to call the Embassy your scheduled at to have it changed or try again and make it short and specific to fit their tiny itsy bitsy brains.    Their attention span is very short.    Don't mean to be funny it's just true.
