Go to the pull down menu under Start Your Evaluation Application and choose Individual or Immigration. They evaluate foreign transcripts, both high school and college levels, for a reasonable fee. I hope that's what you're looking for Soloenta.

Some people told me I deserved to wait for a year and 5 months because I had already had so many visas! I don't get it, why would that make a difference? It shouldn't just like the immigrant spouses nationality shouldn't make a difference. Its all so very unfair.

Many times I also bit back tears of frustration when people who had NOA1 a year later than I were at the same stage as I, but still complaining how long it took. But everyone feels sad about the wait, even if it is considerably shorter than others. So I understand.

Hope you and everyone else in this thread get good news soon! We all deserve that!

  I have a huge problem,  I lost pretty much everything when my computer basically reinstalled Windows 7 for some unknown reason. 

 

  I think it was in Saylin's thread someone posted a site they take degrees from other countries and not sure if they determine if it can be used in the USA or checks

and verifies the degree is transferable?  Something like that.  Does anyone remember that and have the link?  I'll re-post this there see if anyone has it and ty in advance.  :) t4582.gif

Yes for me it was just same old.

Like your husband I feel so bad for mine. He has seen his children twice in a year. We are such a strong family unit and how we got ourselves in this situation is just beyond belief. Yesterday he said he was at his wits end with it all and I just felt like crying for him. Today I just sat on the sofa watching a movie and then had a nap. Picked up the children and have just eaten a whole bar of chocolate. Like I need to do that - NOT!

I am disgusted, absolutely disgusted to think that they are holding up your Visa due to your husband being Arab. i would SO like to think that this is not the case you have been on this journey far too long and now have to wait until nearly Christmas for an approval. Although I should be out of NVC long before that I am going to hang around to see you through this. Ought are.



 

   It's unbelievable what they put us through, they must realize what they are doing to us they can't be that blind and stupid. 

 

   :( I don't know who suffers more our husbands or us, I think it's a toss up at this point since at least I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. 

 

    My problem is, I can't seem to get my behind up to do anything, I don't eat that much or anything bad like pizza, hamburgers etc.   All I want to do is be left alone

and sit in my room staring at the wall.  I can do this for hours on end if I didn't have to get up and cook and other things for my parents so I have gained weight. :(

I really wish there was  magic pills, I would take it for sure.  :(  Well my friend Sunday I will be at Mass, know your on my list and hahaha yes list I don't want to miss anyone while I sit there pray.   t4582.gif

Oh honey, I did call today and it was like a comedy routine. We all need to understand that NVC do their best and only review documents in the order they receive them!!! I was just left speechless so said a polite thank you, hung up and sat there stunned. Nothing we can do except get through each day, go to bed and see what the next one brings.

How are you going my friend? What are you waiting for now exactly?

  OMG what did they say that stunned you?  Same old, same old?

 

  I'm barely holding on, lost it again with my brother this time. Tomorrow is our 3 ed anniversary so I'm feeling extra sad and when I saw my husband tonight on cam he looked so very tired.  He was still at his families business at 4:30 am then to his other job at 8am.  It's just killing me to see him so tired.  From the other case here on our thread I'm convinced all this mess is because my husband is Arab.  You can say well it's justified but I disagree, they know who is who they have all the tools to find out if someone is not all they seem to be.  So for me this is NOT justified at all.  Call me paranoid or what ever anyone wants to call me but it's clear as rain. 

 

   I'm waiting for NVC to scan what they asked me to send them into their system then wait 60 painful days to have them review them.  I tracked it and this is what I found.

  Your item was delivered at 11:11 am on October 14, 2014 in PORTSMOUTH, NH 03801 to VISA. The item was signed for by N VISA CENTER. (L)

First time i call they said ur case is completed now wait for interview
Second time u should wait till 25 oct
Third time we never recieved ur AOS
Fourth time we just reviewed n one pkg is left for review

  OMG no, not again!  I was praying this wouldn't happen to anyone else.  I'm so very sorry sweet heart the same thing happened to me.    I spoke to many supervisors all of them lied to me but that is just me.   The ones I heard were/are good are Sylvia and Betsy on days and Octavio at night.  I for one didn't have a good experiance with any of them.   this does NOT mean you will have the same problem.  So call ask for help from one of them then wait three four days if they say they will call you back then call and ask for them if they have not call you by then.  I'll be praying for you.   t0803.gif

Omg I don't know what they did today but it was awesomeeee! Espressos, red bull, drgs, chocolate, money.. I mean ifit money ill pay more for a case complete haha! Lets just keep prayingguys!!

  I agree, made a promise to go to Mass every Sunday which i don't normally do so this can end for all of us.  Prayer is all we can do on our part.

A quick update from the other thread: there was a CC with a Sep 12 last scan date via snail mail.
So what do you think:
a) double espressos with red bull on it for each NVC worker
Or
b) they now are receiving commission for the amount of cases they're completing a day/week?

Make your bets peeps! Lol and for the ones from late August waiting: Thursday will be all yours! I feel it!





 

  I don't know, had to call to see if they scanned the things I was requested to send in and the rep told me they (gag) are doing their best to hurry the process but it will take 60 calander days or less to finish the process.  Also told me to call Friday to see if they have been put into the system so will have to call and wait another hour and a half plus on the phone. :(   I really don't know what to tell you, I hope they are speeding up but I have no clue. :( (L)

My IV packet arrived at the NVC last Monday and it was scanned in by Tuesday.

 

In other fun news, I did email my Senators last week to see if they could speed up my case because of the NVC errors reviewing my documents. It just so happens that the person to respond to me (from one office) was one of my graduate students who finished my program with a Masters Degree two years ago (I am the director of graduate studies in a university political science program so she was my student). She's going to see if she can speed my case along. Wish me luck!

 

  WOW then it should be scanned in God willing I'll call today to ask but last night I was on the phone for so long I had to change phones because it was about to go dead waited about an hour and a half plus. :(   (F) (F) Thank you for your input I really appreciate it. :)

However, I hope that in your case, it is true.

 

 

   I don't know why I did n't see this.  I was told CC but Paid never change to N/A, I would ask for a supervisor if they tell anyone you have CC without the change. (L)

You remind me of a dear departed friend of mine from Boulder that I've known for 23 years. He was a 1970s train hopper, turned street musician, turned Hindu mystic, turned music tutor/performer, turned Sufi Moslem (now... that was a colorful life). He told me once he prayed for as many as 400 people everyday, including my then bed-ridden and failing 80+ year old dad, even though they never met.

Hello vj friends!

Congrats to everyone that mad3 some progress with nvc, I am praying this will be over soon for all of us. I just got back from my trip to see my husband 20 hours traveling each way 48 hours spend together... hoping this wws the last time, I dont know if I will be able to survive another goodbye.

Some news..
1. I am starting my diet for the 56574849 time tomorrow haha, pim counting ill be moving there in 3 months so I dont want everyone to be like, "so we know ehat u did those months, EAT"
2. I was reading the continent talk u guys had the other day, im mexico they taught me theres 5, america, Africa, Asia, Oceania and Europe. My husband says theres 7, north america and south america, australia, asia Africa, Europe and Antarctic not sure about the last time. So I guess it depends on the country, one of his friends is a geologist and told us both are correct. About calling yourself american its something I always find it funny, his friends always asked me "so are you moving to america" my anwser is "I've been living in America my entire life". And I have, I understand a lot of people call people from the US americans becausenof the name of the country US OF AMERICA. I do too so no hard feelings, its just funny.
3. My hubby and I will be moving back to his hometown when I get back and im excited. Portland, Oregon, anyone going there?
4. I wanna take my dog with me, anyone with experience bringing pets to the US? /MERICA..?
5. I hate this situation haha

How long does it take to hear from NVC after a case puts on a supervisor's review?

 

  They have told me 30 days but can be more or less I would call at least twice a week to ask how your case is doing. :)

Thank you my dear friend. Your prayers willed those visas to get issued within 24 hours. I had a feeling that email was fairly generic, so I was checking ceac every hour on the hour all day. At 3:00 p.m., the magic word blazed across the screen.

 

My wife already packed 4 bags on her own since then, so you can imagine how eager she is to jump on a plane. And that was just her beading/painting/metal works supplies and finished works. It's a good thing I'm a platinum member with United Airlines. Our maximum free allowance for this trip is 18 bags x 70 lbs. My back hurts just thinking about it.

 

  WOW I can only imagine how it feels and am thrilled they didn't make you wait any longer.  They are lucky to have you and your family. 

 

  Hahahaha OMG beads weigh a ton let alone the rest of the stuff, metal etc.  Hey I know great sites online and a Gem/Bead show that you can buy beads for great prices if your wife needs any in the future. :D  Wish you guys were going to live in Ca I'm sure she could teach me a bunch of things. :D.

Well, I can't see the image (not showing up) so I'm not sure if you're feeling happy or upset and angry (since it took too long) that your visa got issued.   \

Throughout all this process, I have been the one handling this process and all glory to God - we have made it through USCIS and NVC in less than 6 month because I literally called everyday....not its time to do medical, I told him which doctor to choose for faster response, he told me - he can just choose any of them on the list. I said - no you cant'! Some of them take so long to give the result. HE IS NOT LISTENING TO ME!

   Proof he is first born, stubborn and thinks he knows best just like my older brother.  Frustration, annoying and obnoxious. :D  kurby2.gifkurby2.gif

Called up on my lunch break and got my interview date. November 18th at 9:30 :D I gave in my notice at work already.

Question for you guys - is it normal to be calling the NVC - no one picking up/busy?

 

My NOA2 passed about a week and a half ago, they should have it by now - and wanting to call and find out about the case number to start the whole process. 



 

    As Ramii posted very normal and since your files are at the Nebraska SC as mine were it takes longer. :(  SOB's don't get any faster with time.  But soon it will arrive at NVC just use redial and keep it up until you get through. :) t4582.gif

I hate snakes, going to have nightmares now. Heres hoping and praying the NVC progress and case completes. Praying they all get good night sleep.

NVC don't open until 12pm UK time so I'm gonna be bouncing in my chair at work, clock-watching and constantly complaining to my long-suffering colleague about the time. As soon as the clock hits 12, I'll rush off with my phone surgically attached to my hand and will be hitting the redial button over and over until I get through and find out if my interview has been scheduled.

 

If it's not, I'll slowly deflate, before dragging myself back to my desk and assimilating back into normal life for another month.

 

If it is, I'll smile insanely then quit my job right there and then  :jest: (four week notice period)

  Geeeeeeeeeeeeez now I'm excited hahaha can't wait to find out but I would take the day off! ;) (L) (L)  Prayed for you at Mass and every night until you finish with this. :D  Boy when all you guys get your Visa's my prayers will be short. :D Woooooooooooo Hooooooooooooooooooooo would be nice. :D

Did you already get two checklists?   :huh2:  If so, you can just relax since NVC usually issues up to two checklists.   :thumbs:

 

   Not necessarily, I sent three total AOS forms just two days apart from each other I messed up the first two then thank God Jsumners beautiful wife basically did the whole thing for me but send it to NVC and she is brilliant at things like this. The AOS was perfect but they lied again and said things were missing that were NOT missing.  So that would make it three and it was a no go for Betsy.   So it all depends, I got two checklists I was told to ignore since I sent three and then two false checklists  for AOS and one false one for IV.   :( I'm tired thinking about it. 

 

I've been gone for a couple of days can someone update me on the most recent case completes?   Thank you

 

  Geez sorry I know there were a couple but don't completely remember.  My mind is in a fog. :yes: :wacko:

I would lag behind and let it flow if I must and be calmed. During the anxious days before the start of Desert Storm, a US Army Chaplain sat and talked to me one-to-one for several minutes. Even though I'm not Christian, that chat calmed me down a great deal at the time. Hmmm... maybe that's why Battle Hymn of the Republic is one of my favorite songs (especially Andy Williams' version).

Oh... when you're done, get on Betsy's case. Challenge her to own up for NVC's mistreatment of your case and to give you a speedy review.

By the way, only last week someone called NVC to confirm his CC after seeing AOS fee change to n/a. He received a checklist over the phone for his trouble and n/a changed back to Paid afterwards. Cruelty abounds in that nest of vipers.

   Betsy already told me she can't expedite our case "at this point" what ever point that is.  They really need to rectify what they have done to us.  But they wont. :(

Feel the same way! I absolutely love weekends but truly hate how NVC is off today LOL . . .  so they withdrew the AOS fee from my bank account on Friday 10/10 but the status remains "In Process" ha-ha . . . hopefully it changes to PAID this week. I am planning to send out my documents on Thursday via FedEx for Friday delivery! I am soooo nervous and excited! :)

  Go willing all will go well and we just might get CC around the same time, or at least you will ;).  :thumbs: (L)
