I was exaggerating a little ofcourse :oops: it's more like 10-15 pounds or in between? :cry:

Yes I don't wanna weigh myself because I know I'll get even more depressed :lol: it's all because I've become super antisocial and I don't wanna go out to hang out with friends...I've lost all interest in shopping too.

I think it's lack of physical activity that's causing all of this, I really need to get up and start being more active. All in due time I guess.

   I think you mean when the Paid changes to N/A at CEAC you have CC?  If that is the question yes but sometimes it does not change so you need to call NVC and even is it does change you need to call to make sure you have CC,

 

Guys we should start a diet club or something. I'm getting obese! I've literally gained like 20 pounds since my wedding, due to all this stress! :rofl:

I just spoke with Gus, super nice guy but as always he had the 60 day song playing :lol:

Since he was very nice and calm...I thought it was best to not bother him so I didn't :( I said "have a nice day" and he goes..."you too, take care"

Somehow that consoled me :lol: it felt like I was talking to a therapist :rofl:

  Just got off with Jack, Octavio was not found must be with Sylvia I don't know but Jack left him a message.  Before that I was so upset I said I want to know the name and how to contact the supervisor for everyone at NVC if this doesn't work out I'm going to let him know whats going on I have HAD IT i'M DONE i WANT THIS FIXED.  Poor Jack nice guy.  So I told him if Octavio doesn't call me I'll call him back.  My heart has dropped to my stomach I just don't know what else to do.  t23126.gif

I was looking at the interview spreadsheet for 2013 and it's so unlucky that of all 12 months of the year I could have the case complete, I m expecting in end oct or early nov and there is no second round of interview scheduling in dec. so if the case complete is not by 30th max I might not get a dec date. I m so scared :cry: I don't want another delay at the interview now please God :cry:

Awww don't be upset, be hopeful! InshAllah you'll be out of this mess way before! Plus there really is no point in stressing out with the NVC. They do things when they feel the need to :ranting:

I'm not sure... but I'm hoping the extra review/4 weeks lines are just generic to such emails. If so, I might receive the same royal treatment my brother got for his B1/B2 visa a few weeks ago. He submitted his passport with updated documents and received his visa the following day.

 

Last week, CCs breached the Aug. 20th barrier, so I'm hopeful you'll ride an early wave and get some good news before the week is out. Now... if we could only squeeze Soloenta in between.

 

  Thank you my dear friend but the documents they requested will arrive Tuesday so, who really knows when it will be our turn.   Might I add while I was praying at mass I almost lost it many times, my biggest fear if strangers seeing me cry.  I was barely able to contain myself.  My nerves are shot, I can't even smile anymore.  But I hope that someday this will end.  :)  (F) (L)  (F)

I'm not sure why you don't sound happy?   :huh2:   Well, you were the only person who got upset (instead of being happy) when you got a CC (because you felt that NVC took too long to give you a CC) so you're a little bit "unique" to me.   :rofl:  :rofl:  :rofl:  

 

I have my interview in 4 weeks so it looks like we may get the visa around the same time!   :dance:   Fingers crossed!   :star:

 

  MoBar just knows how they treat people from the Middle East no matter how great, intelligent and forthright they are.  He's been put on AP for no reason what so ever so many times he just can't trust them as I can't trust them.  When I hahaa supposedly got my CC I wasn't happy either I just had an odd feeling.   MoBar on the other hand has so much more experience in this than almost any one of us that he knows better than to be optimistic. :(

Just got this email from the embassy, after being on AP since my September 24th interview... Why are they being so enigmatic?   :girlwerewolf2xn:

 

"You may drop the passports at the reception ? window 2 - of the US Embassy. There is no need to come inside the Embassy compound. 

You may come on any work day, Sunday through Thursday, between 1-3 p.m.

You must bring a copy of this e-mail with you to the reception (window 2), who will give you a sticker to collect your passport later from the Embassy.

Your case will be reviewed again and if everything is fine, you will be contacted to collect the passports with the visa packages in 4 weeks approximately."

 

  :D I've seen this before and it's meant you get your Visa but wont celebrate until you comeback to tell us so.  I said a prayer at Mass this sunday for everyone but said a special one for you and your family.  God willing this is freedom from this h e l l for you and your family.  t0803.gif

I remember getting really emotional when my file finally left the National Benefits Center to go to Nebraska. I felt like everything would speed up and I'd be in America by the summer.

 

Then when the NVC backlog became apparent and I had to wait so long for my IV invoice I was like AWWWWW HELL NO

 

Luckily interview scheduling is embassy-dependent... so unless London has decided to fall apart this month, I should be out of here by Christmas :D

 

   OMG, Nebraska Service Center is the worst of all of them I languished there for about a year :( then the nightmare at NVC and not looking forward to the Egyptian Embassy

   These people just have to much power over our lives. :(  There needs to be a way to overturn or have someone to help us if any of us is put on AP.

I think you can still get a Dec interview as long as you get a CC by Nov 10-ish.   :star:

 

However, some embassies/consulates close at the end of Dec so it's up to your embassy/consulate.   :whistle:

After reading Samreen's posting, I just recalled reading happy postings on the NVC thread back in April.   :idea:

 

Everyone was so happy to be at NVC after getting stuck at USCIS for months.   :)  People told us that it was going to be super quick at NVC because they used to spend only a month at NVC if they didn't get checklists.   :thumbs:  They told us that waiting for the case number was the hardest part and everything after that was just a walk in the park.   ^_^

 

Well, we all know how it turned out to be another USCIS since the review time got longer and longer (2 weeks -> 3 weeks -> 30 days -> 30 business days -> 60 calender days) and we had to wait for 30-45 days for the IV fee invoice.   :no:

 

We just didn't know what was in store for us back in April.   :dead:



Oh yes, those were good day that didn't last long at all. :(   I do hope and pray it will reverse and go back to what it was but most likely will after we are all gone.  If I ever get OUT OF NVC!  :rofl: :cry: :rofl:

So the IV fee shows as PAY NOW but when i click on it, it's not available to pay. Also, i have not received an email saying i can pay it. Is this normal?

 

Also, i received the AOS cover sheet after i paid AOS but i also received a Document Cover Sheet where i need to check off what docs i am incluidng in each package. i am supposed to send both cover sheets right? With the AOS one on top right?

  Yes it's normal mine did that and I had to wait a few days until it accepted payment.  Just keep checking a couple times a day.  I never received an e-mail so don't wait for it.

 

  Also yes Cover sheet goes on top and wow I never received a Cover Sheet for documents how nice well don't forget to send AOS and IV off together, I didn't I followed

what someone I respect suggested and I think that really messed me up time wise. :(  You should have a Cover sheet for your AOS and it has AOS on it you can use that for both AOS and IV / documents  so the documents you send will have the AOS Cover sheet and below that one the document check list then documents.   Someone correct me if I'm wrong please. :D.    Much luck I'll be praying no checklists and all goes smoothly for you. :) (L) (L)

I have been tossing and turning in bed for 2 hours now. It's 3:10am and can't sleep. Nvc is such a torture really. And ucsis plus Nvc Urghhh. It will be 18 months for us in dec since we applied. Our second anniversary is in January. Even the thought of missing it again kills me. I wish I could turn back time and go by a tourist visa and had not entered this nightmare. We lost two years of our lives. Just praying that I can spend New Years plus our anniversary together this time. Needed to rant :cry: luv u all (L)

It's a bout time ... Waiting since May 2013 ... I hope we get CC soooon and we will have a party together !
But I'm worried a couple of people from Jordan got checklists for the marriage certificate and it's puzzling since we have both marriage contracts and certificates some people sent both and STILL got a freakin checklist!!!!
Proves my theory that they are buying time

 

 Oh how wonderful it would be to party together but I have a longer time to wait I'm sure.  You know isn't it funny that this seems to happen to everyone from the Middle East /

Hey guys! Thank you all for your kind words, I am super happy I found this site, I has def been really stressful, but we are closer everyday and I am sure it wont takr 60 days. Its all in God hands now, praying hard we are all with our spouses by January.

Im currently on a trip to see my husband, we are lucky we can see each other, I live 20 hours away from the border and he lives in the phoenix area so every 2 months we meet in Nogales a border city in Mexico, ugly city but I get to see him. We are hoping this will be the last time before moving together. Its just heartbreaking for me onowing that our home is 3 hours away from that city, our future, and they dont let me cross because of this situation hshshdkdjfjdjdjahahforinr makes me mad!!!!
So our scanned date is sep 26. I am dreaming we will get cc by Nov 6, interview middle december and ill be there by nye. I can dream!!! Haha hope you all have a good weekend. God bless..

  Hi Austin thanks for dropping in I know there will come a time when you wont be able to since life will take up your time and who wants to  be depressed. :)   God I hope Tuesday is a better day, thank you my friend.  but I really don't think so.  Did you know Columbus wasn't Italian and there is proof he was actually Catalan all his writings are in Catalan and most of the people on the ships were either Catalan or Spanish.  So many lies in history.   La Niña, La Piinta y las Santa Maria ;) ! 

 

 

I really hope so! I'm figuring that if i send out my packages next week, then 60 days from that would be mid December and maybe my husband will have his interview in January or February 2015.

    Well,I sent everything to NVC today including the kitchen sick was a you know what to pack. :D  I put notes on everything sent them copies with dates of the orginals I sent them and new ones in case.  I sent them copies of my letter of why I didn't file taxes and the IRS verification of non-filinga copies yet AGAIN.  I couldn't wait until Tuesday to send it because nothing is going to happen on tuesday but more of the same.

Quick update on my case: In August I sent in my AOS packet, but after three days I realized I made a mistake and sent a corrected i-864EZ (I put AGI instead of total income on the first form). Opps. I talked to an operator who said to submit just the corrected form which I did and had a scan date of a few days later (8/13).

 

On Monday, I talked to an operator who told me that both packets had been reviewed and accepted! Woohoo!

 

I then got a checklist yesterday for having the wrong number on line 19 of I-864EZ. I called because I thought it was a false checklist (since I was told a few days earlier that it was approved already). Operator Yvette told me no--both packets had been reviewed, but the checklist was real and I was supposed to resubmit the form. I asked for a supervisor to review it and she said it might take up to 42 days.

 

Today I spoke with Supervisor Mari and she said now that only my first piece of mail had been reviewed--not the second. This could be good news, but I'm annoyed because 1) the first operator already told me that it was approved, 2) everyone until Mari told me that both pieces of mail had been approved, and 2) I'm really supposed to wait 42 more days for a review, on top of the 60 that I've already waited, and then 60 more after I resubmit the form if they lost it???

 

Anyway, she's pulling my files to review the case herself within the next week. Let's pray something happens.

 

  OMG they did to you what they did to me. :( They lie all the time it's just not right to hurt people this way!  I'll be praying they fix this for you right away. :(  I hope it's true it's taking 50 days lately or should I say 50 to 60 :( still way to long to wait. I hope this works out for u soloenta (L) give them a final call today and ask them what they want really. Even they caused u to lose around 20 days after they told u have a cc and now a checklist. Why can't they tell just one thing. So frustrating.

 

  I can't wait any longer just called Betsy is out until Tuesday so typical NVC I just can't wait and I'm feeling like I did the day I talked to her and totally lost it.   I had some hope

Betsy would care but I was wrong again.   I don't think the e-mails will help either they just get their paychecks and go on vacation.  I now feel hopeless. (L) (L)

Solenta, by the way - I read the thread about all the headaches and heart attacks NVC is giving you. Hold on dear friend! It will be over EVENTUALLY! You can't stay at NVC forever.

 

  What I tell you, I rest my case so he does love you it's just that his mother made him feel he's God!  Boy it's so clear hahaha I just have to laugh.  Second one is he needy one that needs all the attention and would love you calling him every five seconds and if you didn't would be really upset with you and the baby of the family would be trying to help you out.   Would be less problems if they taught us this when we are little. :D

Update on my case: I did not know I had to make the interview, I thought they were suppose to make it for me and let me know what it is? HELLO (By the way my case was expedited)

That name sounds really funny. I'm pretty sure they have a standard method of making email addresses. Like my company always uses our first name dot our last name at the company name dot com. So mine would be romii.lastname@visajourney.com

Yes and it was slow yesterday also. just when you start to feel some hope that things are speeding up it slows down agian. You would think with the new procedures on how they are reviewing packages that we would be seeing more progress. To top things of monday is a holiday so they will not review again till Tuesday. Oh well such is life. Aside of changeing how they are reviewing packages, which just made my wait time longer. I still don't know what they are doing to try to catch up. When you ask all they say is " they are trying very hard to catch up". So frustrating.

The problem is they have messed up so many people that I bet that isn't helping either. :( What a total mess they are, pathetic.

 

It breaks my heart when people treat animals like toys :( . I just want to make sure taking is the best decision than leaving him home in Jordan . I guess he his more attached to me as he only sleeps by my side :)

I received another email today from the NVC with the AOS fee! Very happy to see this BUT the AOS is still locked. I can't remember how long it takes for the AOS to be unlocked after you receive the email but i really hope it's by tomorrow so i can pay right away! 

   Oh don't worry it's happened to us all it take a few days but it's different for all of us, just keep checking as often as you can once during the day and once at night so you wont become obsessed hahaha if that's possible. :) congratulations one step closer. (L)

I found out current NVC director´s email address (I copied him when I sent my complaint letter to the American Ambassador to Madrid).

You can try to write him. Maybe it can work. Send me a private message and I will reply to you with it.

The Ambassador to Madrid showed his sympathy to us and committed to expedite my interview date when the process at NVC stage is over. It is all we got. Less is nothing.

  Oh they are so beautiful hahaaa I love the picture.   I think  cats do much better than dogs so on flights over seas.  I'm so happy your taking him with you.  You have no idea how many people just dump their pets for any reason at all.  No way I was going to leave my babies even if that meant leaving my luggage.  :D (L)

Have you tried telling him how you feel? I'm not saying that you should but if it were me, I would mention how his attitude is making me feel and how unfair I am being treated.  At the end of the day, BOTH of you are going through this process, not just him. Your feelings matter too. 

  I agree communication is key, but then some men are like that depending how mommy brought them up.  Still think he loves her just has a funny way of showing it. :D  (L) But I agree with you 100%!

Yes we are very proud. He has the 100 fly tomorrow plus 50 free. He got good times and is happy. He would like to swim for Australia. He is both American and Australian. He also has a British passport so has a few options. Ut his loyalty definitely lies with a Australia. Still he is only 15 so has 10 years.

Bet you are getting excited!! Can't wait to hear the good news.

I think I would wait a couple of days. You never know they might review it and decide they do have what they need. I am so hesitant to give advice because NVC change their minds so how do we know what they are thinking or might decide.

I just wish there was somebody higher up the chain that could sort out this mess. Let's wait and see what happens in the next couple of days, just until the end of this week.

Not around much for next four days. Son swimming at the State Championships here in Australia. He took Gold this morning in the 200m Butterfly. Shame Dad wasn't here to see it!

NVC seems to have slowed up a bit mid week. Come on guys lets get August wrapped up.

I am reading everything and am, of course, disgusted in what they are doing to our friend Soloenta.

Thank you but I did know what you meant but just wanted to add that since I found it not only interesting but had no clue about it before I married my husband.  People have such a bad impression thanks to the media of Muslims.

Also make sure you call boxer' s office to make sure they receive your letter, and written consent form. it goes to the director, and then you case is given to a case work, goes and find out what the help is going on. This nightmare will be a distant memory very soon. Take good care of yourself please. Remember you have friends on this blog pulling for you.
