IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - July 2014	I wonder if that's a 'new' thing? When I was calling, they always acknowledged receipt of "a package" on such-and-such date, then they would always remind me to complete the DS-260 (which was done two days before they received the IV). I wonder if because they're not up to that date, they don't show it in their system?     I gave up trying to figure them out a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG time ago.  I just stare blankly at the wall when I call. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - July 2014	I was wondering if one of you wonderful people can help ease my mind a little bit. I am at the NVC right now. Case was received on June 11th and Case # was generated on June 27th. I am still unable to go on the website and sign in. It has that saying that states "it's no longer available for processing, etc, etc" I am not worried about that saying after reading your posts... It just has said that for awhile now. My question is.. normally how long has it been taking everyone to receive the e-mail from NVC to be able to pay the fees and fill out the form online? Should I be expecting some time this week or should I already have gotten it? Thanks you everybody on VJ for the unconditional help and support. Between work and the move to St Louis MO, I had a busy busy busy month! Anyway, my wife's interview is today! I should hear her voice around 6 or 7 am this morning with the good news! I can't sleep right now! I will report back as soon as I get news! How is your case progressing? I wish good luck my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!     Oh I'm praying all goes well and they take her passport and say you will get your Visa in two to three days.     I can imagine how busy you where and really so good to see you, everyone pretty much seems to be gone to the other thread.  I can't wait to hear the good news will check If I'm able to sleep hehee.     My case well, so far have been able to pay IV last night and it shows as paid so that's wonderful but still a long way to go for us.    Going to go say a very special prayer right now for you and your wife.  See you in a bit.         Forgot is Morocco a country that takes a long time to get an interview like Egypt and if I may, how long did it take to get an interview? And my poor family in Australia that know we are leaving, but don't know when so it is sort of a sadness that drags along day by day.   Being torn between 2 countries can be so difficult.     Oh my sounds horrible ((((((((((Amanda)))))))))) can't be easy for you either. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - July 2014	14 months later and still waiting...it is disheartening to see case completed for some waiting 6-7 months and our case seem to be in stuck mode. On the positive side, come August 10th will be TWO years and since it is obvious my interview will not be before that at least that means the IR1 instead of CR1.   At this point, we have had to respond to false checklists/issues that held up our case for two months and it has been six weeks since addressing all of the NVC requirements. Calling the NVC has only resulted in we have to wait as they are backlogged. Why on earth will they not process in order of acceptance or NOA1 date. I cannot believe what was explained as a 9mth process has mushroomed into a 14 month process. Hugs for all those on the long wait list with us since early 2013.        I don't blame you at all, it's not easy to see people behind you zipping to the finish line while you still languish in uncertainty. I was really waiting for CC because my travel plans to see her were on hold. It's Ramadan and we wanted to spend together. Now I will be traveling soon.   Does anyone know if it helps if I go to interview with her?   Btw I got CC email as well today.       Your welcome and I pray you get the interview date you need.   I have read that if possible even if you don't go into the interview it's good if your there just give her your passport and ticket there to prove it if asked.   Boy I wish I was with my husband for Ramadan he said it's not the same without me.   Wish I could be there for his interview also. I made it through without checklist.     I was so worried about getting checklist with the much slower NVC. I saw two nightmares in the past week about checklists.   Yesterday was sucky day, my 2nd request of expedite got denied and I thought there was genuine reasons but today is better         No checklist CONGRATULATIONS what great news, now you can rest a bit before the next set of nerves kick in. NVC received my AOS package on 5th June and I'm still waiting... they are taking longer than 30 days.    I have sent my IV package and NVC received on July 3rd. What's expected for the case to be completed? ..       Sorry to say a lot of waiting they are really backed up so there is pretty much nothing we can do but wait.  You can call and ask but make it after 4 Eastern time.  That way you'll miss Joyless and her brother Aurthur. So your husband doesn't need one from Lebanon which is very fortunate. (http://travel.state....mit-to-nvc.html)   As for Malaysia, according to http://travel.state....by-country.html the embassy should honor your request and issue you one. Maybe be you should place your request in writing (not phone or email). There is a link to the Malaysian Foreign Office in the above website. There are others on this forum from the Far East who lived in Malaysia and would respond to you shortly I'm sure.   Glad you're starting preparations early. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - July 2014	You are looking at 5 months after NOA2 at USCIS. 6 months if you are delayed paying IV fee as many people currently are.   Breakdown:   1 week to ship case from USCIS to NVC 4 weeks to assign NVC case # 1 week for AOS fees 0-6 weeks for IV fees 6 weeks for AOS/IV review 6 weeks from CC to interview   The mind boggles every time I add this up but this appears to be the current state of things.           I was being positive again. Oh and I eat the chips too!       OMG depression is so bad for you, I have gained and I need to lose what I gained.   I'll have to start working out this coming week.   I used to workout every day until I moved to Egypt then poof nothing but didn't gain an oz actually lost.
