I don't want to sound like a doubting Thomas, but I skinned my eyes again on the I-130 form and can't find the 5-year addresses question you're referring to. Which item number is it? Maybe it's obsolete with the latest version, now that the question appears in the newly introduced DS-260?

In any case, I agree  with anuspras... you need to list it in the DS-260 anyway.

 

 

You posted about this case sometime ago, dear, and I did respond to the OP then. Either she needs to wait till her PD becomes current or investigate a different petition category... asylum, perhaps, as her husband successfully did for himself earlier.

I did some looking around when she posted a few days ago, and it seems F-2As aren't eligible for expedition at all. She would have to try for asylum or her husband would need to become a US citizen.

 

  Thank you so much, boy what a mess doesn't seem right wish they could both go to another country.  I know they can go to Ecuador no visa needed for up to 90 days and there are communities where they pretty much only speak English but job wise I don't know. :(  Wish I could help them. :cry:  Your such an angel than you and bless you for your help. t4582.gif

Hi all,

 

I am a new joiner & I would like to ask a couple of questions .

 

I am married to LPR ,& we filed for 130 F2A , 12-sept-2014 is our PD .

 

We are from Egypt, I got the receipt & when I checked USISD website , I entered the receipt number & I got initial review , I checked the processing time for California service center for spouse , it was 5 month .

 

Now I do not understand what's the use for the processing time if I have to wait for my PD to be current, is there any way to speed things up as my husband is Christian & I am not & in Egypt they do not allow nor recognize civil marriage, & it might be dangerous for me if anyone found out.That's why we got married in Cyprus.

 

Bases on the average number of previously processed cases , how long do you think it's gonna take for my PD to be current, I know you can never know for fact how long it's gonna take but just an estimate, a year , 6 month , 2 years.

 

Please let me know if you need to know anything else , thanks & I really appreciate your help guys.

Then applied for I130 , he can not apply for citizenship for another 4 years, I know you think it was reckless , but we did not plan for it , we were best friends then we fell in love , we could not get married in Egypt & he traveled to the states in 2012 & I was able to c him in 2014 last September after he got his green card and we were able to travel .

Yes i get so crazy that i went to hospital in serious depression lot of time ,I lost my 6 weeks 4 days old pregnancy this july. I lost my appetite , lost my sleep, lost interest in every  way of communication .I almost lost hope. still this hope is not that powerful at all. I am disturb still. And dying to meet him every second.

Believe or not, some people never call NVC. :wow:  For them, there is no way of knowing if their cases have been completed at NVC.   :star:

 

So NVC sends out CC emails notifying them that their cases are officially done at NVC and they're now waiting for their interview dates.   :thumbs:

OK, Please Help. I have been a silent member on this thread and have got much needed information on other occasions but I am really stuck this time. I am filling out my DS-260 and where I have to fill out my address details, it ask for any other address(es) where I may have lived afer I turn 16, I have lived in Australia for almost 5 yrs so logically I should just go ahead and fill out the address(es) in Australia. Now here's the twist my wife (petetioner) or her lawyer I should say, while filling out my USCIS (I130) application completely skiped the part that I lived overseas. So USCIS had no info that I lived in Australia. Now when I submit my DS-260 , would I get a checklist of some sort or would there be any sort of complications at the interview, as they might see it as we tried to withold the info. Is there any hope or am I completely doomed. Thanks in advance

  I have seen this before and if not mistaken as long as you fill out everywhere you have lived since 16 on the DS-260 all will be fine.  MoBar and others will help you better be patient they will be in to answer you shortly. :) (F) (F)

That was exactly my point. I asked the CO in Lagos about interview schedule and she told me NVC already have November and december slots for Lagos embassy which i decided to share on the thread and i was suprised when someone said the thread is not a rant thread. Yes am sticking to this thread.
I really dont know why NVC have not schedule interviews.

Am sorry everyone for ranting about interview date, l don't mean to be selfish.

Can you add a link to the interview blog? Not sure what you are talking about but don't want to miss it. EOC, it seems what some consider to be ranting, may help others in a way, so don't pay attention to the complainers. I'm so glad this blog is a "safe place" to vent, because... G-d knows... I need that.

I am blush :) I keep my fingers cross as i pass all this time in stress and and crying a lot for my husband .yes we both love each other alot . Reading your some posts i am happy and hats off to your parents that they have such a wonderful daughter who love them .I am still in stress that i have to submitt these docs as soon as possible.

  Poor sweet heart try to take a deep breath this stress will bring you to your husband so try your best to relax and look at every document one at a time.  If you think of everything you have to get you will go crazy I know hahahaa.   I cry for my husband also but soon my friend all our tears will turn to laughter and smiles you will see.

So stressed.

Sold our family home last year. Thought this process would only take a couple of months. How naive!!! Lease is up 7th November and landlord is happy to extend but if we don't vacate by middle of December then we have to pay through 31st Jan. Should get a CC by end October at latest. Do you think we will get a December interview. Just don't know what to do. Imagine if Visa is denied. The children and I will be homeless. I think I am just going to bite the bullet and pay through January. Just venting!!

NVC a bit slow today.

Yes me and soloenta and msc and few others have been through the hardest and most terrible wait. No one can understand our pain really. And on top of that Nvc won't stop playing games with this girl. It's breaking my heart to see this happening to her. It would have been still better to tell her about the checklist when her AOS was reviewed or even now if they confirm it and ask to bring it to the interview. What's the point of her being hanged in the middle. I hate Nvc so much. It's worst than Uscis.

I totally agree with you sol, I am sick and tired of those who had shorter wait, complain so bitterly. Don' t get me wrong I am happy for them, but come on people, your wait is nothing compaired to others. look at you, and samreen waiting for over 16 months. Even me I had to wait for my kid to turn 21, last year before she could file for me. I lost my green card in 2010, because I overstayed in my country due to mom' s death. I have not seen my kid in 4and a half years. So I totally agree with you some people need to SHUT UP!!!!

 

  OMG Ebu, I would think they would make an exception since your dear mother passed away, but they have no heart they just don't care. :(.  But I'm happy you will be seeing your children soon and what a reunion that will be :D What joy you will all feel in your hearts and souls. :)

I fell asleep and just woke up and thought of you. I am so sorry sweety :cry: why are they making this to be so complicated when it isn't?
I don't get it :/ someone needs to smack some sense into their heads. I had so much faith in Sylvia but she's been disappointing. Octavio said he's working hard, then he possibly will?
Please keep your hope and inshAllah we will hear back today? Just keep calling them, I seriously fail to understand all of this.

Please take some rest and have a nice meal. InshAllah things will be better in no time. God has his own way of doing things and sometimes we don't understand the reasoning, but in the end it is all worth it. Hey guys so 7/29/2014 was my scan date for AOS. It was reviewed yesterday 9/30/2014 -_-

Got a checklist for corrections :crying:  There go another 60 days. Does anyone know how long they take to send

the checklist through email?The guy who answered said "sometime the end of this week"

Does it really take that long to receive it through EMAIL ???? :clock:  :protest:  

I guess my husband and I wont be together for our 2nd wedding anniversary our daughter is 1year and hasnt met her father :crying:

  OMG I'm so sorry to know you got a checklist and yes sometimes it takes a few days to get a checklist NVC is all messed up big time.  Did the guy say what was wrong with the AOS?   These new reps don't know anything most don't even know the supervisors names.    I was teaching one today about false checklists hahahaa.  I hope it's a mistake and all it is, is a false check list.

Hi soloenta, sweetie, sorry about the stress you are going through. if there is any problems with the aos, why won't they just freaking give you a cc, and tell you to bring a new one to the interview. Geez these games nvc is playing is just so annoying. Men, they are just holding you up from an interview. Damn you were supposed to be the first in the group with a cc. I am so sick and tired of these morons, get the job done already. I will continue to pray, remember every disappointment is a blessing.

 

  Yes my sweet friend I will try to keep that in mind and God knows best all in his time not ours.  But it's not easy to accept that when people only in the process 5 months are complaining about interviews taking so long and it's been a week or two since their CC.  I'm happy for them but I wish they would just SHUT UP and wait they know it's coming.

Wow what an incredibly soul you are, I love my parents so much im sad ill be away from them so I am enjoying every sec. I am from a small town so theres nomuch to do here, plus 110 degres and 60 humidity haha, praying this journey will be over soon!

Dumb question, you guys work.? I dont and sometimes is nice just to "relax" we have our own busines(catering)s but jezz I dont know what else to do, I just finished my 6 month curse to be amake up artist lol. I have a degree in culinary arts/ I am a chef so I can't wait to start working on a restaurant.. how u guys manage to work smd this stressful time

POSTING HERE FOR JOY SAKE - and because this is my favorite thread!

 

3 days after I got the AOS checklist, I requested an NVC expedite and it was granted. So, this morning when I check my Visa status it said at NVC and I called, they guy say it looks like they cleared the mail which means they must have find them to send to embassy but I really dont know. Anyway, I just checked CEAC and I saw this:

 

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

 

Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center. How can I have an interview date when NVC told me they no longer has anything to do with the case? Or is this a generic message. How and when am I going to get interview date?

Between them supervisors, it's like talking to dumb, dumber and dumbest. If they can't figure out this convoluted process, how could they expect us outsiders to trust we're been treated fairly? Being overwhelmed with workload is one thing, playing God with people's lives is just bordering on the criminal.

Even if this mighty supervisor huddle reaches the conclusion that the AOS checklist was real, they have the authority and they should exercise it to forward your case to the Consulate and ask you to bring an updated AOS to the interview. Raise this point to the idiots if they don't get their act together soon.

  I agree I need to find out who I can talk to that is higher than them this is just to much, I just can't fathom the depth of common sense and knowledge of their work.  We pay for a service we don't get and on top of that mistreated.  There has to be a person higher than them?

 

  I know what you mean but I also know the AOS is perfect and why did I get two false check lists for the AOS?  TWO!  I just don't know what to do and since my husband is working two jobs I don't talk to him as often as I would like and the poor guy falls asleep while we are talking sometimes. I find it cute and adorable but at the same time need to hear his voice and talk to him.  He has also made himself sick with all the work he's doing poor thing. :(  This just has to get better. :( Insha'Allah

    Well so much for sleeping but took a nice shower an now feel better. Shoukran  Maana Ahmed your so sweet and kind, no I don't take medication for migraines they have a tendency to backfire every once in a while so I don't take anything for them.  Usually try to be in my room make it as dark as I can and just try to sleep.

 Apparently no, Octavio told me, Sylvia said she called you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have been home all day no one not even my brother has called and I have an answering machine no messages left.   What is going on I just can't understand this at all.  What other recourse do I have?  The way it's going I'll be at NVC forever.   I'm going to lay down my migraine is getting worse can't hardly see the screen now.

  :cry: I spoke to Octavio he said Sylvia called me today I told him really, I've been home all day long and no one has called this house let alone Sylvia.  He said he was waiting on my AOS I told him I have received two false check lists for the AOS since 8/10 doesn't that mean it has been approved?  Um, um I don't know I'm waiting on the paper work.   So I told him so I missed any hope of an interview date because of this and he said no I'm doing all I can and I will call you tomorrow.  I told him I do NOT want Sylvia on my case she had DONE NOTHING FOR ME AND AS YOU SEE HAS NOT CALLED ME AS SHE TOLD YOU SHE DID WHICH IS TYPICAL OF HER at least in my case.  Ok now I have a migraine I can't take much more of this I'm so stressed out, I just can't believe this it seems it will never end. t23160.gif

What the heck is going on NVC?  I was confident I would log-in and read about Soloenta's cc and AustinCanada & Stackeria's interview dates.  

 

How can NVC continue to disappoint me after I have left there?!

 

Good news for us is my hubby was able go to the doctor's office and track down his medical results.  Took them 12 business days when they quoted 5-7.  We barely got them in time for him to leave for his interview.  5 days until his interview and I am surprisingly calm. I only look through "the folder" once a day and go over the paperwork to make sure it is all there.  I hope my OCD will pay off and he will have everything he needs on the day since I won't be going with him.

 

   Awwww thank you sweet angel your so kind, God willing soon we need many prayers and for me mostly for the interview if I ever get one :rofl:

 

   Oh, OH so happy your husband will get his medical file from the Dr's office Woooooooooo Hooooooooo!  Now just relax all is going to be great :D!t4582.gif

Barely is excellent ! Good choice  as for sugar just try reduce your intake say you add two tea spoons to your tea try one and a half then one etc. when I crave sweets I eat dates or bananas or honey (not saying I don't indulge in chocolate )
God! Don't remind me :( I'm kinda glad my hubby is not coming to see me this month I look like a zombie !

I got a checklist. 

 

It says I did 13.a wrong and I know I didn't. Im calling now. What do you guys think? Is this always a real checklist?

You need to send in the 2013 tax information for the joint sponsor, if you can't get that then apply for a tax transcript at the IRS, they usually mail one in or you can even call and have it faxed.

Sounds yummy :) . The most important rule is to eliminate sugar as much as possible gradually and simple carbs
Go lean with protein  and the consumption of leafy greens and whole grain provides satiety of course along with lean protein Inshalla you'll find yourself feeling full and saying no to your sugary cravings ) ah and of course lots and lots of water 1.5 liters minimum . But don't forget to treat yourself (cheat day) in small amounts ;)
I could go on and on but I will shut up now lol

if tax return is not available to joint sponsor then what will happen? and tell me then what should i do ?

 

   I think the solution is simple but I wont answer it since I can get you a Checklist quicker than you can snap your fingers.  This thread is slow right now so please go here

I've checked at least 5 times the ceac.state webside for a change to N/A on my AOS fee, but still nothing. Last night I woke up at 3ish and checked my emails...nothing from NVC. I am preoccupied with thoughts of CC and will positively go crazy if that does not happen ASAP!

Oh dear! Praying for the best for you!!!
I'm home already, safe and sound!
Today I was at the beach, and it was amazing. The sun is even hotter now that is spring...35 degrees Celsius in my city, can you believe?!
I feel that October will be AWESOME for all of us, and you'll be the first one to celebrate this joy among us.
I'm not sure how it works, but I'm trying to attach a photo of the beach today :)))

Nooo Zumba is fun try the beginner class u will love it ... Now kick boxing n High intensity intervals execersie I won't recommend at first :)
I'm a nutritionist / dietitian so I'm OCD when it comes to food and working out :)

I talked to Sylvia when I was trying to get my IV fee invoice.  Very nice lady.  But... She took no action for me.   :wacko:

 

Same thing with Octavio.  Very nice guy.  But... he took no action for me because he couldn't unlock the IV fee invoice until 30 days have passed.   :unsure:

 

It was Ike who unlocked the IV fee invoice for me.  I found Ike argumentative and not that nice.  I had to argue with him TWICE over the IV fee invoice policy (I was saying it wasn't fair to filers without a lawyer. Blah, blah, blah...).  But...he put me on hold (while I was saying "Blah, blah, blah") and unlocked my IV fee invoice.   :thumbs:

 

    I didn't find Sylvia friendly at all very cold and stiff no sense of humor what so ever and she definitely didn't help me but I like Octavio a lot he was nice and listened and I didn't hear him sigh hahhahaaa  like oh poop another complaining B!  Never spoke to Ike, but thank God he was able to unlock the fees.  (L) (L)

 

 

Zumba is probably too hard for me.   :wacko:

 

I took Kickboxing and Step classes.  I thought I was going to pass out in the classes!    :dead:

 

I'll need to look for a natural organic diet pill so I can lose weight while I'm surfing on Visa Journey (like right now).   :whistle:

 

There is always liposuction, but it's probably too expensive!   :bonk:

 

 

   Hahaha you crack me up we are so alike hahaa I will do the Zumba but I wont be happy and will have to rest A LOT!  God I hate working out I rather have a pastry. ;)

   I want a pill also but one that works, if you ever find one let me know. :D

    Yes Insha'Allah I'm on the phone right now but wont believe it until he tells me.  This was supposedly the only thing holding us back from CC so we should have it today God in heaven only knows. :D  First time I didn't feel joy this time if it happens I'll be grateful and thank God. :D  (L) (L)
