IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - August 2014	So someone else asked about this: there should be two scan dates--one for AOS and one for IV package. Do they work on each package as they get it (well, 60 days after scan) or do they process them together?           God only knows what the heck goes on at NVC or any immigration office.  It's a mystery we still haven't cracked.                                         I'll drink to that!  And welcome to the thread. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - August 2014	I was just on the phone with a rep about the letter they sent of updating my husbands address. She said a request was put in and I said I didn't put in a request, to which she said well we got one and updated it. She read me the address and it was the same one as the original one we had!! She said she can't give me details about who submitted it and how it happens. Are you kidding me????????!!! Also, she said they are putting packages together and now they have started reviewing them from the last package date. She said even though I sent in the IV package on 7/21, they will review it with my other package which was sent August 15th(my checklist for AOS)! Are you seriously kidding me???? I said how is this fair and how come we were not notified of this? She said we just changed the policy and she would not shut up about the 60 days and kept saying is there anything else?? She was so rude! I asked to speak with a supervisor, she put me on hold and said they are not available and she'll put in a request for them to call me back. Is NVC serious about putting the packages together and reviewing them within the timeframe of the later scanned one!what if I a get checklist for my IV? That means I'll wait extra days for it to be reviewed and then have more time waiting here?               Oh dear me, please call back maybe the rep was on crack I just don't believe her at all and please complain it's on my timeline below or this will never end.  Will be praying you get a good rep this time.  Call back! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - August 2014	Well I called this morning to see if anything had been approved... On Friday the rep volunteered to have my DS-261 passed to a supevisor because she said it should have been reviewed already. Today I spoke with Kevin (who I USED to like) and he said he saw that the supervisor request had been put in, but that since it was still within the 60 day timeframe, the supervisor would look at it but probably not so anything with it.   Great. That sounds like such a huge waste of resources I can't stand it. Why in the world would you have someone look at something that would take moments to review and approve and just not do it. Wait another 20 days. Great.   These people are crazy... But I guess we already knew that.       Well ñoña that is just terrible I'm praying you get CC this week, this whole thing is so frustrating!  Big hug for you. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - August 2014	Are you asking the latest scan date?  If so, I believe NVC is reviewing packages up to July 10th (scan date) as of last Friday.     It seems like NVC is taking a lot of time to review packages.      Perhaps lots of NVC employees are on vacation since many people take vacations at the end of August before schools begin in early September?          Holy poopies what's with our timing!  Screwed yet again!      Edited by Soloenta, 24 August 2014 - 06:44 PM. So sorry, MoBar said you can use them so I'm wrong.  As stated in the past Egyptian Embassy has e-mailed me with the response to my question and they are very special I should have known.  I have a friend that just e-mailed me with a problem she has with this Embassy if she allows me I'll post it for everyone to see how special the Egyptian Embassy is compared to others. Besides, you get a chance to submit new ones during the interview and at POE if you wish. Wait until then just in case you get delayed at NVC.       Maybe it's just the Egyptian Embassy but I have asked and they keep saying NEW so I get new ones.  They don't seem to care much if it's two months or six.  But thank you for the correction. . Can I use the same pictures for my DS-260 that I used for the G-325A form for the i-130 petition? They are valid to 31 December 2014 as per Australia Post regulations. Or should I get new ones taken? Now, I am trying to do the exact same thing and I cant seem to go back and fix it!!!        You can highlight everything you put in then hit enter and it will remove it.  When I did it manually after each time I finished I hit enter to take me to the next line did you do that?          Wait I see your Timeline and it looks perfect to me.   I don't see what you need to change to be honest.  Wondering if it's the other persons browser I'm using FireFox. Only says that line and has our case information.      I'm thinking it's a glitch mine has the new address at the left bottom of the letter and it's correct.  But still call ask what address they have down for you. What request? I didn't send in any? The letter was dated for August 11th, I didn't even call them that day. I don't know what to do Is this bad? I hope not! I don't want something to mess up again!         I received one but I did put in a request, look at the bottom see what address it is they changed it to if it's the same as you have now no big deal but either way I would call on Monday and let them know you didn't request an address change.   If anyone sees fault in this please feel free to correct me. I know waiting for so long that too when it is not your mistake is way too hurting. To be honest, I was whining too much when people who were late filers got ahead of me but lately I realized "Nature does not hurry, everything is accomplished". How wrong I was. One will never get anything a minute before or a minute later than his/her actual time. Your time will come soon. Just abandon this suffering to God till then. Trust me, God is testing our patience. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - August 2014	Just got off the phone with NVC. Spoke to Tessa who told me all of my mail has been reviewed and they are STILL waiting on my checklist!!!!  I explained that I have been told they have received everything and all I had to do was wait. She said they have reviewed 3 pieces of mail. The only things I have sent are AOS, IV and AOS checklist. So I said, if all 3 pieces of mail have been reviewed, then what is the outcome. She said she could not see what the mail was, but did I perhaps send my IV docs twice???!!  UMMMM NOO!!!!!  Or perhaps the reviewer made some kind of error, she can't see on her screen the outcome of the review or what doc it was??!!!   She said she would log a supervisor review and that would take 30 business days.  UMMMM NOOOO!!!!!! I am at day 67 of my AOS checklist review I cannot wait another 30 business days for you to tell me if you have lost the document or not!!!   This is wrong, this is wrong, this is soooooo wrong!!!!!   I asked for a supervisor, she said nobody was available. I started crying, she put me on hold.  She then was magically able to transfer me to Octavio who could also not explain what is going on until he pulls my file which he can not physically do until next week.   I am beyond devastated right now.  Every time I have called they have assured me they have everything and I just have to be patient.  What the heck?????/         Please do not take offense if I am not around on here for awhile, I can't take this anymore and need a break.  Love to you all, I hope none of you experience what I have.         I'm so very sorry sweet heart this is just so wrong it breaks my heart and more so to know your in such deep pain.   There has to be someone you can talk to and I fully understand your not wanting to be here right now.  God Bless you, know I'll be praying for a quick solution to this Amanda. I received a Case Complete e-mail from NVC today so I wanted to come here and give some info to all of those who are still waiting. I know I was always interested in other people's timelines. My case landed in NVC on April 7th. We had a RFE in June. I called yesterday (Aug 21st) and found out our case was completed on Aug 15h. I called because my AOS Fee on the website became N/A. Today I received an email notifying me of my case being complete. I am filing from Croatia, so there is no EP. My case was at NVC for 130 days. Before that, we waited for NOA2 for 267 days. Now we are waiting for an Oct interview date, which I will have to reschedule due to my trip.       Anyways, good luck to everyone who is still waiting. As unlikely as it seems to you today, there is an end to this part of the journey. Keep your sanity!     Well, God bless you for being so kind to come and let us know!!!! Supervisor Sue told me that an expedite request is my only hope for presenting my AOS checklist document at the interview instead of waiting til the end of September for it to be reviewed at NVC. I figured it´s worth a shot. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - August 2014	OP is trying to prove he still has domicile in the states, where as you live in the States, and you are current at that resident address the CO at interview wouldn't bother really giving much thought into the letter.     Well, what can I say I'm an idiot, I thought I had read others in their same situation living with family and when I was living with my husband that was what I was going to use for proof of domicile since how many people can keep a home running and paid for, for two years unless you won the lotto.   I should just keep quiet hahahaa, ty I appreciate it.
