IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - August 2014	Anyone else still waiting for review of docs (esp checklists) scanned 20 June or earlier? I feel like mine has somehow slipped through the cracks as I see they are working on 25th June.   I just feel like I get screwed at every step of the way, why do I always get in the slow line?   Is it true it's darkest right before the dawn? I feel like I have tried to stay positive as much as possible and I have exercised patience, but now I am just getting Tensions are high at home and I feel like my hubby will say one day soon "enough is enough, we are staying here in Australia". My family would be devastated, I almost wish we hadn't told them we are coming     Just a little longer sweet heart, it just seems like it's forever.  Have you called you have to call and see whats up even if they just say you have to wait a little longer.       We need a NO MODERATORS ALLOWED thread hahahahaaa so we can vent there and be cool with our loved ones. What they mean by receive your docs -- AOS DOCS or IV DOCS -- ??? USCIS is worthless and involving them in the process only serves to slow it down. The NVC could hire double the number of people with all the I-130 money and could get the work done in half the time.       I must repeat myself, logic is lost on them!  What can you do, but! Since we are not eligible for visas yet, how does this affect us?         It's like this TheDude , your thinking logically and there is NO logic to government, NONE.  It's sort of like gasoline prices, some worker farts near the storage tanks and they hike the prices up.  Makes no sense but they do it anyway. (should be close to the date it was delivered) 'When was my IV package scanned in?' IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - August 2014	I am loosing my mind......      One and a half week before 30 business days and I get letter from NVC about delay, because they got to many cases from USCIS. I waited patiently for almost 6 month being at NVC, is it a joke? First of all we already paid one month, because of somebody's mistake (wrong case #) and now this.   I like theirs expedite very much too... Me and my daughter have been living in a fear for last several months, getting up in the middle of the night, because bombs are flying over your house and what NVC said, the expedite doesn't effect on reviewing documents. GREAT!!! Thank you, NVC very much for your kindness!!!      OMG if your case isn't expeditable then what the heck is!  There is something very wrong here just doesn't make sense that you aren't already with your husband while others get expedited just because they live with their spouse.  I'm so very sorry and I pray you and your daughter will be safe until this madness ends and your go home to your husband. It took them over a month to scan your AOS package in?    And you put DS-260 twice. I just need when your IV package was scanned. The only DS-260 date I need is when you submitted the form, which I took already from your signature.       That is the information he gave me and I don't think they have scanned the IV in yet but I'll call and ask.  Ty sweet heart. My case is closed and they are passing me onto the consulate in London however we still need to submit a new AOS document. Can some of you help me with this? We got the following:   Items 13.a.1. The income you enter must match the total (gross) income reported on your most recent Federal   income tax return. If you filed Form 1040EZ, use the adjusted gross income instead.   I know Saijin (I think is her username) has put this on the site:   Use the correct numbers on the I-864/I-864EZ for past year's incomes. As it states RIGHT IN THE QUESTION, if you filed a 1040 (or 1040A), then use total income, and if you filed a 1040EZ, then use adjusted gross income. If you filed jointly, then make sure you use the combined income (since it doesn't separate the incomes) and then submit W2s to show individual income.   Can somebody explain it in a bit more detail for me? So I can try and help my princess sort this out together. Tonight I celebrate so hard but tomorrow we have to look at this in detail, as I need this document right for my interview.   Many thanks   Daniel   P.S. Did you ask about the status of your AOS? Thank God you explained the meaning of scanned to him. Me and my husband, we are always thankful and greatful to Saylin for this thread and her wonderful contributions. My husband does not visit this site but I always tell him all the details about this forum and I also sent him a print out of Saylin's NVC wiki so he can read it every time. I learned a lot working for OFA (Obama's campaign) in 2012, GOTV (Get Out the Vote) is really important. The Republicans are pretty much guaranteed to keep the House, it's the Senate that's up for grabs. Help the Republicans win the Senate and you'll be helping to ruin the last 2 years of His Majesty's Presidency.      I'll see what I can do but it will have to be from home.  I'm sure they can make it easy for me to help them out, ty. I called, nice guy didn't catch his name since I was nervous and rarely call.  I asked him what's this, he said we have your IV documents, DUH, they are in review.  I asked, you mean they scanned them or they are actually being looked at, he said being looked at.  I said I thought if I received a false check list it's because they were accepted, he said no.   Me confused but happy they are looking at them, hope they aren't just looking at the folder sitting on their desk.  Many ways of interpreting things.       That's all she wrote!    ______CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTIONS:_________________________________ When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - August 2014	So I write DR and IV package on the envelop, nothing more and I send the both packages in separate envelopes! P.S. what DR is? Thank you Romij     I put folded a cover sheet taped it leaving the bar code without tape, on each envelop to show my husbands name and the bar code so there would be NO mistakes.     Purchased a stamp the one with numbers you can change and put the case number on every single page and document.          Edited by Soloenta, 05 August 2014 - 02:53 PM. He was all for fiancé visa and not declaring marriage since all his friends did that. It's been 18 months since I saw him. I wish now I had listened to him. His friends applied in July and his wife has been there since March. It's a punishment for wanting to do things right.
