IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2013 I-130 Filers (merged)	Are we the only one left from June 2013 fillers  that are stuck into NVC???? It has been year and 2 months and they still tell us our documents are proccessing and they need 60 days for this.... I thought that NVC stage is the fast one that take 1-2 months but we got approved in march ;(     Not any more, not since USCIS received all the letters complaining and it back fired on the ones that complained mostly.  I was stuck at USCIS NSC now at NVC it's torture worse than death.      Have you visited the August filers?  They change the thread every month since so many post come check us out you can complain and more people are there to help you along the way.   http://www.visajourn...73#entry7170264 Edited by Soloenta, 06 August 2014 - 04:35 AM. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2013 I-130 Filers (merged)	Ok, so this is my first post in here, late bloomer, I guess!   Anyway, just wondering how long the NVC stage seems to be taking for others...I am a USC and my husband is French.  NVC received our case in March and it was finally entered into their system on April 11, 2014.  Soon after they entered it into their system, they started sending the payments requests, which we immediately paid.  We have filled in all of the forms for the NVC stage and sent in our AOS docs and civil docs - as of April 30th, they have everything.  How long should we guess that this stage will take?  When I call the NVC, they tell me 30 business days - is anyone finding this to be accurate?   Also, is there any way to get this thing expedited?  And what is considered a good enough reason for it to be expedited?  I have seen people on here that were able to get the entire process (USCIS and NVC) expedited and had their cases completely finished in about 5 months.  We are at about 10 1/2 months at the moment (which I know is short compared to what some people are going through - seriously, I don't understand how it can take so long for this - although I always find it "funny" how our payments are immediately cashed and then we have to wait months for anything to actually get done).   THANK YOU!    First you need to call NVC and ask for a Supervisor review or at least talk to one and ask what is going on the number is (603)334-0700 they are there from 7am to 12 midnight Eastern time.  Good luck to you and please follow the link Fabian&Rossy posted, it's the best place to be.  Good luck. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2013 I-130 Filers (merged)	why!!!!   my i-130 is still on initial review phase???????   pd is 06/03/2013 and rfe responsed on 12/16/2013 and still noting   i just got back from visiting my wife.. for 2 weeks but it feels like a dream!!!!   miss my wife so much..   thinking about give up this processing and go back to my country to spend rest of my life!!!   too hard to be seperated...   please give me some hope!!!   please....           What service center was your I-130 sent to,  mine was sent to Nebraska and there I sat for 11 months.  They had me down as my I-130 arriving to them June 24 Th due to a mistake they made, so in total I sat at USCIS for 13 months then all of a sudden I was moved to NVC.   Some have their case sent to NVC at five or six months so there is hope.       Listen don't use hope your almost there, I miss my husband so much I spend my evenings crying but what good would it do to throw ever thing away at this point!   Just hang in there, save this thread and come laugh and cry with us until it's your time. And you may be close to NVC depending on where you are.  You can also call your Senator ask them to look into your case.   Go to their website there you can fill out a form to give them permission for them to do that for you.  Might work, might not and if you can take it to the Senators office if possible.   Much luck and please keep us updated.    Know you are NOT alone in your loneliness and sadness of being away from your loved one.           Come to this thread even if your not at the NVC stage yet we will keep you company.   Edited by Soloenta, 07 May 2014 - 04:45 PM. That our background check had cleared and our petition would be assigned to an adjudicator and we should expect to get an official response in 30 days, that was on May 1 or 2nd. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2013 I-130 Filers (merged)	Can anyone advise me what's after approval ??       Congratulations and welcome.     After approval of your I-130, I'm guessing that is what you sent to USCIS then your approved then your file is sent to NVC National Visa Center, you wait again for your in my case Nebraska Service Center to sent it to NVC then NVC will (wink) let you know it arrived but really your supposed to call and it took about two weeks for NSC to send mine to NVC then you get your Case number and invoice number hopefully the same day and you better call at least once a week to check and see if they have it. With these numbers you can enter the website to file your first forms and pay the fees.  You basically wait for everything but should only be two to three months. Then you (God willing) you get a complete sorry brain freeze I'm a bit tired then you wait for your interview date.  But as everyone will say read the first post on this thread all the information you will need is there and if confused come ask the wonderful people here for help.  You get answers pretty quick here but familiarize yourself with the first post click on the link and you will know all that is next.   Pretty crummy job in explaining but it's late and I'm sticking to it.   Edited by Soloenta, 23 April 2014 - 05:26 AM. No one was ever able to provide us a copy of this RfE letter, because the letter doesn't' even exist, so they tried to cover their mess with something else. Now I have another biometrics appointment next Tuesday, and our lawyer is stopping by the Chicago office for an infopass to put some pressure too. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2013 I-130 Filers (merged)	Deep breath... deep breath...   After an excruciating 30 days begging USCIS to give us a copy of the RfE that "supposedly was sent" last October  (even though we never received any updates and the receipt number was never updated online), and doing it all: 2 infopasses, countless calls to tier 2 officers, expedite requests, service request, faxes, emails, senators, you name it...  they told us the RfE was for my biometrics, they told me my biometrics is only good for 18 months. i showed the officer my notice from last July, stamped and signed, and the officer told me that for some reason it wasn't entered in the system.    OK... process, I got them to admit that they messed up on something. However, I find it too much coincidence that they would send me another biometrics appointments only after we complained so much, and that the letter they "sent" in October was undeliverable (even though we received over 10 correspondence from USICS before and after with no problems). What is their protocole anyway? Something gets undelivered and they just sit around for 6 months, don't try to resend it? don't contact anyone?    I mean, we spent so much in this case to try to find out what they wanted from us, and very likely will have to cancel our honeymoon again, because of a data entry error from their part, and because someone didn't want do his/her job.    I think the biometrics is just another excuse to buy time, because they have no idea what is going on and know they messed up. At least we have something to work with. In 2 weeks when it comes back clear ( AGAIN, for the 3rd time in 18 months), USCIS will have no more excuses to give us.      Deep breath... deep breath...    Holy cow I'm so sorry you had to go through that OMG I would have killed them.  They are covering up someones huge mistake or laziness no doubt. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2013 I-130 Filers (merged)	Just a suggestion.  Call and speak to a tier 2 and ask them to do an express message, they have to respond with in 5 days.  Also try emailing Rendell Jones he will assign it and you will get a response in 2 weeks.  I did both of these. Rendell.jones@dhs.gov  Don't give up.  I hope this will help.     This helps with NVC or the Embassies?  I think nothing helps with the Embassies but maybe the president and he wont lift a finger for us. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Meanwhile, processing of this case is on hold until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the evidence requested and a decision is made, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. ************************************************************************************************************************************************* i am just praying i get an approval as soon as i send whatever evidence they want     They must want proof of Bona fide marriage which is pictures, travel to see loved one, if you lived with your spouse rental agreement etc.  My husband and I adopted two kittens from a Cairo shelter and we even sent that in.  Also you can send in letters from friends and family to say they know about the wedding or engagement even if they only talk to the other person on Skype.   It will help a lot, good luck . At least the ones from the Embassies.  So far USCIS and NVC have been very nice to me with exception of Miss Nasty Pants. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2013 I-130 Filers (merged)	sorry to hear that!   but your are not alone in that shitty situation!!   my pd is 06/03/2013, and CSC then transfered to local office (houston),   i went to infopass today driving about 30 min from my office then wait another 30min, finally talked to uscis officer(i guess) then just said that it is pending!! i konw it is damn pending!!!!!   then i asked what is the reason for this long pending then she said it is ready to review and desicion then just said thank you!!!!!!!!! i was not even finished !!!! it took about 3-4min   i just wasted my time and felt like got punched from them.... how rude and look like they dont really care about us..... or they dont konw anything about our case!!!!!   no hope at all now!!!!!!     No they don't care and I'm sure they hire people that no one else would hire under any circumstances.  They are the meanest, rudest people on earth and there is no reason to be. And they said, "if you want, you can file a FOIA" Wow... I don't want to be sarcastic to a tier2 officer, but she has a fatty voice who doesnt care of the customer. I am going to get the consultation with immigration lawyer. Damn. USCIS call center does not help at all.     They say that but doesn't mean it will take a year or even a week.  It also states the same thing on the USCIS site so don't think it's true it will take a year.  They said the same thing to me, it's just a generic answer to get you out of their face.  Not nice but that is what they do. Hope we hear something soooooon!!!      I actually sent mine in March of 13 and they put it down as June 24 Th I made a mistake but then made one also and never rectified it.  I think everyone will be getting an answer soon but just in case call them at 1(800)375-5283 please someone correct me if I'm wrong.  Call until they know you by your voice.   Have your receipt number ready in case they need it.       I had a problem with the phone prompt so I clicked on 6 for Change of address and let them know I had nothing else to click on and they help you.  Good luck to everyone, I am proof they will get to you. It doesnt help anyone to turn over each other. The problem is with the system not the people who are trying to make this country their home. "illegal" immigrants have gone to a great deal of frustration as well. The majority of the people here in this country getting a break now, have been brought here as a child with now saying or will, they have been raise as american as anyone born here. They are merely getting a work permit for 2 years, while we are getting the opportunity to live permanently, and eventually a path to citizenship. Although our cases are taking longer, they still lead to much more security then our fellow immigrants without a status. I have friends in that situation and it hasn't been as easy to them as some people has been saying around here. Again, I say, the problem is with the  bureaucracy of the process, and turning against each other makes things harder for everyone.         Just my 2 cents.        Sorry disagree, they broke the laws of a sovereign country and they are demanding rights that simply are not theirs to demand.     I do mind I miss my husband and neither one of us are breaking any laws.  Please don't put me in the same category of people who break the law I haven't broken any.  I do agree some of the problem is with the bureaucracy but not all of it.  Do you realize that President Obama has given priority to children of illegals born in the USA do you know that children for them is from birth to 30 years old do you realize that you are waiting months on end and most likely more than a year because he has put a demand that they will not only be processed first but that it's to be done in three months?  So we wait and wait to be reunited with our loved ones because of this.       I'm so happy your so generous but I'm not, I cry myself to sleep every night and when ever I have a moment alone.  I'm not generous when it comes to having to wait and wait and wait to see my husband again.       Illegals being frustrated doesn't bring tears to my eyes, no one put a gun to their heads and forced them to cross the boarder into the USA.  They did it on their own knowing very well the consequences of their actions.  Have you heard of people dying in the streets of the majority of illegals homeland?  I have dear friends born in Mexico that are furious because of what's going on.  They have been waiting years to get their children into the USA and now the delay is even greater.        Wont go on because it's obvious you wont or can't understand what is really going on here and what will happen very soon if other laws come into play.  How about waiting a couple of years or three?  Anyway I'm done with this discussion. And I thnk they actually worked cuz uscis changed the time on site from 10 even 16 months to 5 months now. What sucks is that Its just good for the future filers but we just got screwed we were unfortunate.      Wish someone had done the favor for us.  Thank you for the information. No idea what they saw fishy in our case.       Most likely they found nothing fishy about your case I think they are just there to make our lives a living hell.  Technology supposedly is so advanced it shouldn't take them this long to find out who is a terrorist and who isn't.  Such a small percentage are.  I don't know it's all such a farce.       I actually don't have a clue what they meant in the letter, could be they haven't gotten to a background check but then further on they switch to why they................... ok why go on I'm confused!  I think I'm to pissed off to think straight right now.   Just saw the news on illegals and was infuriated once again.  They have more rights than we do and they are demanding, DEMANDING no deportations so families wont be separated when they are just over the boarder for PETE'S SAKE!  What are we chopped liver! They r just full of #######!     I so agree because my husband comes from a well known family and has a sparkling clean record and work ethic, plus he is a well educated man.  What the H e l l more can they ask for.  So many come in illegally with no education and then they give them amnesty.   Ok sorry off topic just a bit upset.
