Philippines	Anyone with a California State ID? K-1 Visa Holder w/o EAD or GC	hi there ur wife should have a proof that she can use the ID here, that means, she's staying in CA. Her I-94 should at least 60 days valid in order to get an ID. Another requirement is her SSN. By the time she'll get her GC, she can apply right away for a state ID. GC and her SSN are the requirements along with the $23 fee (before twas $22) Just let her wait for the GC, EAD isn't useful anymore once she has the GC. especially now that she'll receive her GC days after her EAD, or sometimes, simultaneously. goodluck	felnfrank	Female	0	2008-06-06 21:34:00
Philippines	Is it ok to have a pre-medical?	U may have an early medical exam at st lukes when u get ur case number or approval. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 January 2012 Filers	AAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Sorry must vent.... I've send a package to USCIS a few days ago (10th of jan) and finally on the 17th they signed for it and REJECTED it... The notice says they've not received payment!!!! However 2 checks (one for 505 and one for 85) were included. After a phone call with the national service center.... it turns out that your alien number needs to be on the back of the check, otherwise they deem the check "invalid" and therefore they tick the "no payment received" option on the reject letter. Ah well, lesson learned, will resend my package tomorrow with the check containing the alien number. Fingers crossed they'll accept in a few days. does it have to be 2 checks? first time i've heard of this alien number at the back of the check...	Andrelle	Male	Philippines	2012-01-23 22:48:00

Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 MARCH 2012 FILERS	Andrelle, I am a May CSC filer whose closest ASC is Oakland. I am now suffering the same thing you went through. No bio appt letter at all while other filers seem to have got theirs. Looks like Oakland is in high demand I got my letter a month after we've submitted the packet. Your schedule for biometrics might be in July and you'll get it in June. We went to our biometrics appointment and we didn't have a hard time. They were very efficient. We got there super early. I was scheduled for 11 am and we got there at 7:30. We thought it's better we get there early but of course they were still closed at that time coz they open at 8 am.
