I'm sure hoping VSC starts approving May petitions soon... now that we're getting closer, the wait seems even harder to bear. I'm trying to stay positive and busy, and I'm looking forward to a good friend from Texas (the one who introduced my fiance and I) who is coming to visit me in a couple weeks. Time just seems to be dragging right now.On a happier note, my fiance picked up our wedding rings yesterday (we had picked them out when I visited him last month). Sure can't wait to wear it!!! But what draws me to him is his determination and his enthusiasm. He learned English to be able to speak with me. He continues to try for me daily. He makes sure I always know I am on his mind. A true gentleman who holds ME his woman up high. Family comes first to him as well. He wants nothing more than to hold his own family close. And finally....he makes me smile so big my laugh lines are growing deeper by the day. This is the man I cannot wait to share the every day with. Sleep in late and watch him play with our children. I thought children under 14 are not required to have chest x-ray cause I know that's not good and kind of harmful to children right? My kids just had an x-ray in January because they had a bad cough and their pedia required them to have a chest x-ray. They're clear though. But the x-ray tech at the hospital told me chest x-ray for kids should be be done only once a year or it can harm them.. I am not sure about about this but I'm a mother and my kids health comes first.. But that's Saint Lukes! They should know what they're doing. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2011 Filers	I called NVC Tuesday Morning early and found out they had my case on the day before( August 8th), They did not scan case into their System Until late Monday Night before Closing. I got the MNL/NVC Number on Tuesday Morning early! I called today( Wednesday) and was told Case left NVC today going to Manila, Philippines!!! Only at NVC 1 day! Good Luck also May 2011 Filers, we will be here Until we ALL get that NOA2!! " NVC case on its way to Manila"!!! Wooooh!!! Congrats Tom!!! I guess Grace will have to book her flight to Manila one of these days? That was really fast! I thought it can take up to 1 month to get a case #. I hope we get ours as quick as yours!!! So far, I have 2 possible companions for medical and interview appointment. One is sweetheart17 and the other one is James and Ivy, a fellow May filer too and we have the same NOA2 date. I hope there'd be no problem on our medical, I've read about sputum and that can possibly delay your application up to 6 months if you're positive on the test? That sounds scary... Ok I will go first...Besides his smile , he is such a smart and caring man, always putting family before himself...I could go on and on....I just cant wait to hug and hold him in my arms once again......missing my babbbyyyyyy..... But God is watching and he is in perfect control. Me and my baby have the cheeziest love story. But I fell in love with him because he's so amazing, and sooo irresistible! His eyes, his lips, his smile, the sound of his voice, his kindness, the way he calls me beautiful like it's my name, the way he makes me smile like no one else does, the way he calms me when I'm worried, the way he says "Mahal na mahal kita Kulit", everything that I fell in love with from the start, which now I love a million times more! He's also the best Daddy ever! And would y'all believe that our first kiss was the night before he left? Yes he's super gentleman too! And the mere 5 sec of our very first kiss, I KNEW HE'S THE ONE... I'm sooo blessed to have him in my life, he's the most amazing guy in the whole wide world and He's all MINE. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2011 Filers	Hey Fam!!! Sorry I've been on hiatus for so long. I've been having some internet issues and I've been a extremely busy with my little girls lately. But I got some great news! My baby just called me an hour ago while he's at the football field coaching kids talking about our petition. Too much noise on the back round and I couldn't hear him that clear. I heard he mentioned about our "petition" and I always get a mini heart attack everytime I hear that word. The call got disconnected but I didn't try to call him back, I logged on USCIS quick and here's what I've read: "On August 8, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283." Praise you Papa God! This is so unexpected... I've been worried about "denial or RFE" but Thank God, there's NONE. Our K1 has been approved after 73 days!!! Now I'm lost, we have no idea what to do next. Been busy with kids, their first monthly exam is tomorrow and we've been studying for 2 weeks now. And they starting to complain already! It's hard to not be able to talk to him like we used to. But I know he needs a complete rest after his major surgery.. And oh, so I went to SM City this noon and bought us couple's rings, They are sooo cute and not so expensive! Free engraving too! I cant help myself, so I bought it. I will mail it to him via EMS on Monday. Its just a simple gift from me to my baby.. I want to surprise him when he gets back home from the hospital. So hopefully the package will get there before Friday. Don't y'all worry, the waiting is almost OVER.. Me and my future mom in law been talkin on the phone aaaall day (my time) I was able to talk to my baby this morning and you know what's his first words? "I LOVE YOU BABY..." I almost cry again!!! I was teasing him before his surgery the other night, told him he might forget me and my name and that he's in love with me because of the strong anesthesia they'll inject him. But he's like "NO WAY!" So he kept saying "I love you's" all night long before he fell asleep. He's in pain but I trust God he's going to heal fast. Oh I had a dream the other day, I dreamed about receiving a text message from USCIS. NOA2 approved!! It was a vivid dream.. Cause normally, I won't remember dreams but it "felt" so real! But I've thought about some things. First of all, I shouldn't be the one to receive a text message from USCIS, It should be him! Second why sooo soon? I checked the status of our petition online as soon as I get up and it says the same thing still and no "touch" either. I just applied for a tourist visa because my mother won't cooperate with us with them paperworks to claim my us citizenship. And I just wanted to see my biological father and my half brothers. I had no idea it was that hard for Filipinos to obtain just a tourist visa. My fiance and I met HERE in the Philippines last July 2010. We decided to do the K1 this year. It's really difficult since my career here in the Philippines has just started. But I need to be with my baby... (He can't move here, he's a single Dad solely taking care of his minor children) And oh one more thing, my job is requiring me to go to CA for 12 days training this coming May but I have speculations that if my fiance will submit the packet, let's say next week, my company trip to Cali would affect our petition? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Questions before filing K1	My fiance was plead guilty to a domestic dispute 11 years ago, and was sentenced for 52 weeks counselling. After his probation, he became a volunteer counselor. As for me, in 2009 I tried to claim my US citizenship through my american father but the USEM closed my case because of insufficient evidences, lack of cooperation etc. And few months after that, I applied for a US tourist visa with my children but we were denied... Are they gonna be able to check my previous applications on their database? Will my previous applications and my fiance's case affect our ability to petition for a k1 visa or would that be enough reason to delay our application? And if they would accept our petition, would they still send us an RFE eventhough we submit his case documents and a notarized letter from his ex girlfriend? His mother didn't list his father's name on his birth cert instead she put a different person's name who doesn't even exist. My fiance told me it's because of some welfare assistance or something. His mother was a single mom. But anyway, my fiance is using his biological father's last name though, not the fake father's last name. And he hasn't send the K1 packet yet, still gathering more documents. Does he need some type of affidavit for this?
