hi. im wondering since my husband is a first time immigrant for less than 1 month. can he apply for any health insurance? just in case of emergency since he is still waiting for his social security.??? please advice

i believe he cant apply fro medical or medicare? since he doesnt have a work at the moment? what is the best way to do to get him a health insurance?

As it has already been stated here, bad credit has no affect on your petition, however there are two things you have to take care of (1) Country of Domicile (need to read more on this since you have been away for 2 years and I am not too knowledgeable on the subject matter); (2) your ability to show that you can your support your spouse since they will ask for tax transcripts, W2s, etc (unless someone can co-sponsor with you for your husband).

I'm sure there will be good VJ pals that can share more information about what's the best course of action and or provide you with key pointers for your case.

hi there im about to file the I-129f without my NOA1 form I-130 but the problem im facing right now is i forgot to make a copy of my money orders check all i have is the pay sub with the confirmation num on it.... i called customer service in immigration and they said that u still have to wait for your NOA1 to be send to u in oder to file the 1-129f bec they said that they have to enter all the informations in the i-130. then the check will be cashed out and send the NOA1.. but in vj i saw some members here filing their I -130 and I 129f together. i dont think u gonna have a problem doing that... as what they states here everything went ok. can i still send the stub of my money order as a proof that i made and send the 1-130 application so i can go to I-129F petition right away please help

Ok so I've been searching around and found out that I could have sent in the I-129f at the SAME TIME as the I-130 petition. It seems many VJ'ers are doing it and they are getting NOA1's on the I-129F within a week or so.

Now what to do if you have already sent in your I-130 and have no NOA1....well send in some sort of "proof" that your I-130 is at the service center. Here is a link to the thread I read info on this: link.

Apparently you have should send in a copy of your I-130 check (no need to be a cleared check), a copy of the mail delivery receipt and a coverletter stating how you sent in the I-130 and would like the I-129F fee waived.

I hope this help you all out. I am thinking about this still cause I know that in the end I would rather have the CR1 visa because of money, work and travel restrictions that will face my husband on the K3 visa.

But its still nice to know that I have a choice to start the K3 and then drop it along the way if the CR1 catches up.

wooottt my I-130 packet was delivered today to California Service center... i will wait for my reciept number and be ready for the next step yippiiieee good.gif oyeeeeeeeeeeeee happy.gif wink my hubby so excited as me ^^

i filed my petition for my husband in CSC last october 29th 2007 and i got the NOA1 receipt july 17th.2008...

im out of the country for month now. and still planning to stay here for couple of months to be with my husband...
just in case they ask some information like affivadit or W'2 etc. my sister will notify me so i can still process what they need from me...
about the affidavit of support.... my sister is willing to be my co sponsor since im jobless right now is it possible? thanks alot and god bless us thanks

The only government form in the whole spouse or fiance(e) visa process that requires notarizing is the I-134, which is only used in K visa cases.

i filed the I-130 petition in california service center last oct 2007... i went back to the philippines jan 2007 til now im here in the philppines... going back on july 2008
they approved my I-130 and send it to NVC april 22, 2008
NVC sent the ds something( i have no idea what is this) to my beneficiary my husband in the philippines..
my sister told me nvc sent me a mail address in california... i havent spoke with her since last night... i will ask her to scan the mail so i will know what information they will need from me...
but my guess is the $70.00 fee. but im not sure...
now im still waiting for the mail from nvc will be send here in the philippines bec im still here..

my 2nd problem is... i stayed in the philippines for almost 3 years now.. i just came back to california to file a petition... sept 2007 then came back in manila last jan 2008 to be with my husband.. my problem is i didnt work for the previous years.... i filed my 2004 or 2005 tax return i believe nov 2008... do i have to include that to my affidavit of support? my sister who will be my co sponsor and i think she will past the poverty line...do u think it will be a big problem? sorry i have a lot of question in my mind.. and thank you so much god bless u

u would first pay AOS 70$ online using ur debit card, and u need ur IIN number and case number to logon (call NVC to get ur iin number)

then after a week or so you pay 400$

hi there. NVC send the beneficiary the ds230 what is next?

Beneficiary emails DS-3032 (Choice of Agent form) to NVC at NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

Important:

1) Subject line of email must contain NVC Case#, Beneficiary Full Name and Date of Birth

Step 2 (Around 1 week after Step1 above)

DS-3032 entered into NVC System

Step 3 (within 1 week after Step2 above)

NVC Invoices Immigrant Visa (DS-230) Fee Bill online

Step 4 (No extra time needed)

The agent pays IV Fee Bill ($400) online using bank checking account (no credit card)

what is that for? i know i have to pay $70 plus $400? thanks please help me
