Hi there guys,
for I-184 form for the joint sponsor. do the joint sponsor needs to fill up the I-184. we dont live in the same house hold.?
2. do the joint sponsor needs to fill up same information for I-184 for like example for Information on the principal immigrant. (same like the sponsor I-184?)
3. for Part 3. Information on the immigrants you are sponsorin?
do we have to x the (i am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in Part 2 above.???
and put X in the box for YES?
4. on no.24. (e) do I have to put x in the box for the person listed above ____name of the benificiary? . it says.... does not need to complete form-I-864A bec he/she is the intending immigrant and has no accompanying dependents...





Please help me guys I really dont know what to do.. thanks alot guyz

hi there visaman.,
im with my husband right now in the philippines. so i printed out the ds230 and the barcode with his signiture then we are going to send it direct to NVC..
basically the benefiary can dload the barcode once its paid online then fill up the forms and send it to the NVC as well... u can dload the form online and the petitioner can email the barcode to the beneficiary. print it out with the ds230 form... finally after the ds230 im relief we are going to look forward for the medical and interview.. i hope it will not take to long crying.gif ..... goodluck....

It is a photocopy of the page in your passport which has your Photo, Name and Nationality etc.

hello,

i paid the iv fee online and then after about 3 days i was able to print out the barcoded sheet, and mail of ds230 packet to nvc please see my signauture it has more details about exact dates..

since i am the petitioner, choice of agent i mailed off my husbands docs to nvc
(after he DHL's them to me)
packet included:
cover letter
ds230 part1 and part 2 filled out by him but part 2 was not signed by him
his PCC for passport office and PCC for local police office
his original birth certificate
his passport photos ( i think 2)
his copy of his biogrpahic page from passport

i think that is about it, and i made an EXTRA copy of the ds230 packet and mailed it with the whole package

Yes, it's fine. They know you've paid both fees and if you sent packages at the same time and they receive DS 230 first, well that is not your fault and it's no big deal, cause there's 2 possibilities if that happens: either they may ignore DS 230 and wait for I-864 to arrive or they will check DS 230 first and won't be able to complete your case till they get I-864, that's all that can happen and don't worry cause you won't get an RFE over this situation, so you're closed to the end, enjoy this moment! No more papers to be sent!!! kicking.gif

if you apply for free medical under goverment services you risk jepordizing your petition.... Any service that is means tested will be looked down upon at the interview.... It is possible for your S0 to be granted a visa with you not working and your sister as a co-sponsor BUT it will be one strike against u as the consulate will look at the totallity of your case..... if you recieve public benifits it will be 2 strikes against you.. and even with a co-sponsor your risk of being deemed a public charge will dramatically increase....... Best advice is ASAP obtain employment if you can and do not take anything from the goverment that can bite you in the back later on, Good Luck.

REMEMBER just cause you got a co-sponsor doesn't mean you meet the guidelines for affidavit of support.... All factors are considered in being it 1. Employment 2.paid taxes 3. sufficient income 4. what monies if any and how much supplied to you by the goverment. take care
