Philippines	Filipina wife giving birth to American husbands baby	ive been on the same boat last year.. same month..Ü i gave birth april 20th last year..and my husband was not here..u have to request the early endorsement as soon as possible.. i was suppose to request for an early endorsement but i was late, so when my hubby got here last June, we went to NSO main office and requested for my baby's bc but it was released i think 2 weeks or so.. on my baby's CRBA interview, he was not there also..just make sure that all the documents they required are complete, especially ur passport..	xylide	Female	Philippines	2009-03-17 03:18:00

Actually, DFA has changed their application process. Unlike before that you have to wait for so long in the line. When I applied my daughter's PI passport, they just give me an application form to fill up and then they schedule me the following day for appearance and encoding. So, today it takes 2 days to finish all in all. But it does not hard as before that you have to wait so long. Upon checking your application form (on basketball court) they will attach a small paper indicating when, what time and window number of your schedule for appearance and encoding. Make sure you bring all the requirements. Please bring all the possible documents that might help for the application. Supporting docs like baptismal, BC from local registrar etc. Don't forget to bring your passport. They will ask for it. But, if you can do that online much better so that you will only go to the DFA once.
