Philippines	June 17 medical passed!	hi everyone! just got out of SLEC from my 2 day medical and thank god i passed! so to those who will have their medical soon, don't be afraid and don't worry, chicken lang yun..wag kayo kabahan! i will post my experience later coz i need to go home now, its a 3 hours drive.. so just want to share my happiness.. thank you so much everyone!	xylide	Female	Philippines	2009-06-18 06:05:00

Philippines	Medical experience	hi guys! so i just passed my medical yesterday.. so here it is.. on the first day,we first went to DFA in the morning to get Lizzy's PI Passport,her appointment was 11am but we got there by 10am and finished by 11am! so we went to St.Lukes at 12:45,at first the guard did not allow Lizzy to get inside but i told him that Lizzy can't be away from me coz she is still breastfeeding,so he allowed Lizzy and my sister to get inside! very easy to pass through the guard.. then he saw me carrying a plastic bag full of Chips and cookies and he said foods are not allowed,i said "OK!" but when he turned around,i just sneak one cookie on my bag and that's it! another easy way passing through the guard again!haha anyways, he handed me the Patient Data Sheet(PDS),working flowachart and some more papers... After filling up the papers,submitted it to the Receptionist and took our fingerprints and picture for their record.. proceeded to 5th floor to cashier and pay P10,454.50, we went down to 4th floor for the laboratory(blood and urine tests), then to 3rd floor for x-ray,then to 5th floor and took our vital signs,height and weight determinations,eye tests... and after that,the physical exam where u have to disrobe completely.. after the physical exam,go to check out counter and they will give indtructions what u have to do next.. for us, they attached a small paper in my receipt saying to go back tomorrow(June 18)... so that was the end of our first day and it only took 2 1/2 hours... we were out of SLEC by 3:15 pm... second day i got there at exactly 2pm,Merce(MC18) is waiting for me already... so the guard checked our passport and receipt,and stamped our receipt with "Proceed to immunization at 2nd floor" we got there and waited for almost an hour before our names were called... i was given 3 shots, but Merce did not get het shots and told her she will get her shots once her son will do his medical..(son's case still waiting for completion) others were right, the second day is really the longest time of waiting... we have been waiting for the result for almost 3 1/2 hours.. we were out by 6:30pm... thats how my medical went.. very easy.. chicken na chicken! so to those who will have their medical, dont worry! the process is so easy..as long as u are confident...	xylide	Female	Philippines	2009-06-18 22:54:00

Philippines	Anyone use the PLDT (landline) Sim yet for calls?	i already used almost all of the phone and cellphone carrier here in the PI.. i have use Digitel's IDD card which is 3pesos per minute just like PLDT's IDD card.. even my cellphone which is Globe and also has 3pesos/minute for their tipIDD.. but when i discovered Magicjack, i think i found the best to call my hubby..i have it here on my computer and i can install it anywhere i go.. like when i go somewhere and there is an internet cafe, i just plug it there and use it... i think it does not take so much space of the computer's memory so u can plug it with any computer with internet...	xylide	Female	Philippines	2009-07-08 09:53:00
Philippines	medical requirements	u only need to bring one of those to be able to get inside the SLEC, as for me, they took my appointment letter and staple it with the form they will give u(PDS) and for my friend, they jsut took her NOA2(photocopy) since she doesnt have appointment letter yet... i suggest going in the afternoon, i went there at 12:30 and got done at 3:30pm for the fisrt day..but be ready for the long wait on the second day for the immunization and releasing..	xylide	Female	Philippines	2009-07-12 06:41:00
