K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedurespassport biographic data page

I have a question passport biographic data page, that needs to be send to NVC, does it have to be translated into English. And do I send my copy and my wife’s copy, what about 5yr old daughter, she has no passport?

I don't understand why you would be sending passport data pages to NVC but no translation is needed. Passports from all countries have all needed data already in English. Your 5 year old daughter will need a passport. The visa goes in the passport, so get her one ASAP.

For a DS-230, when I send to NVC, they ask for a photocopy of the biografic data page. Photocopy of valid passport biograpfic data page.

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresI - 129F help
Thank you, I see it now on the form.

Where do I send I - 129F for my wife, to Vetmont office or Chicago? I live in Connecticut.

Chicago, All spousal I129's go to Chicago, it should say the same on your I129 with Chicago post box address listed. Good luck.

Chicago ? Wrong.

USCIS website

Go read the I129 form, before you start doling out bad advice.

Oops, my bad. Thank goodness we have you here. Sorry.

How fast will it go to NVC?

Well, you've got some options because you are one of the rare cases of an I-130 being approved before and separately from the I-129F. If I were in your shoes, I would pursue these NVC shortcuts for the CR1 visa process.
http://www.visajourn...mp;#entry885374

The K3 should come along without further input from you or your spouse until it gets to Russia.

Other than that, it's a race and you make further decisions based on how the race progresses.

I send I-129F, fotos, copy of I-130 NOA1, G-325 and copy of marriage license, and check for $170

dgv76,

I don't know the answer to your question, but I've got a question for you - what evidence of having submitted an I-130 petition did you send with your I-129f petition?

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresHelp, what do I do????

I'm saying do nothing. Sending docs to NVC sounds like "something" to me.

So you are saying don't send any docs to NVC, and just wait?

I recommend you do NOTHING until your wife's I-130 petition is approved. If you are going the K3 route anyway, the I-130 for the child just sits and waits until it is used for the AOS process.

Ok, I send my forms in the same envelope with a payment for both, I got 2, diffirent case # NOA1 for both at the same time, now I get an approval just for child. So now all docs will be send to NVC and my wife will still wait for an approval for 6 or months? I am so confused, don't know what to do?

I'll believe this is actually the status when the case file gets to NVC. USCIS is known for making mistakes on status updates. A 12 day approval is extremely rare. Still the OP can do nothing meaningful until the spouse's I-130 is approved.

Congratulations on your approval... :) :)

Just wanted to make sure what I read and understood is correct: This is your I-130 NOA2 Correct? The reason I am asking this is because I think my I-130 was sent just a week or so after yours. Not that I am expecting my NOA2 anytime soon(altho it 'd be great) but I am just surprised yet REALLY REALLY happy for you, if u did get your I-130 NOA2. Can you please tell me which service center you mailed your I-130 to so that I can do some more tracking.

Thanks for your time and help.

Case number is stamped on the back (along with some other numbers).. look for a number with 3 letters in the back (three letters depending on which office you sent the application into).. Look for a combo letter/number about 12 =) then just go to the USCIS Case Status page and check it =)

FPU - Fraud Protection Unit. It really depends on ur CO. my husband was not with me during my interview he is in the states and he has limited time for vacation. and we thought that all the proofs that we have is already enough.

Eventhough u cant get inside while she's having her interview as long as the CO knows ur there outside it's a big plus.

RE: I-751 JOINT PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF STATUS ON:

(K-1 VISA) XXX, A# XXX

Dear USCIS examiner:

We were married on September 27, 2005. While we entered into our marriage in good faith we unfortunately encountered many obstacles along the way. We began attending marriage counseling with XXX in September of 2006. While there was some progress gained by attending counseling sessions, our obstacles became so great that we decided to live separately to give us both a chance to work on ourselves and work on our marriage. Jamie moved out on May 5, 2007 and XXX moved out on May 31, 2007. We each attained our own apartments. We continued to work on our marriage and see each other on a near daily basis even though we were maintaining separate residences. We continued to seek marital counseling and sought to reconcile back into one household. We spent nearly every day together and celebrated all holidays, birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations as a family.

In April of 2008 we attended a Weekend to Remember Marriage Seminar put on through Family Life. We were given the opportunity to unofficially renew our vows at that time and we chose to do so. Shortly after that it was decided that we would move back into one household. As soon as XXX lease is up on May 31, 2008 we will be combining households at Jamie’s apartment. We both couldn’t be more thrilled. It has been a long, difficult road to travel but we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel towards full marital reconciliation. We both desire to have a happy and healthy marriage relationship with each other for many decades to come. Now, armed with the resources and experiences we have acquired over the last year of our marriage, we feel we are both more prepared and better equipped to contribute to a marriage relationship.

Thank you for taking the time to read over this statement and our petition. We ask that you grant XXX his unconditional permanent residency so that he can remain here in the United States and we can continue to grow together as a couple in our marital union.

Thank you for your consideration,
