IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	may 13th petitioners	I don't know if this is happening to you, but I just got a 3rd update on my case that it was transferred to another office. It said first that it went to another uscis office, then it said my local office, now today it updated again that it went to "a uscis" office. Does yours still say your local office?! I have yet to receive the hardcopy for the other text I received that it was transferred to my local office. The hardcopy I got said I was transferred to Nebraska. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	may 17 2013 i130 filer	Hetty when I did my timeline it said if I don't get anything between January 21st and February 2nd then I should call the uscis to find out what's going on I am being so patients but its really hard! I know it is hard to be patient!! I am the same way right now!! Mine said Dec 29 and Jan 20 ... I'm driving myself crazy. lol! I just keep going over my paperwork for the next step so I know I am ready. I have my folder with me at all times by my desk. And I keep reading and re reading nvc and posts about others interviews so I know what to expect for my hubby! Hang in there.. it will happen soon now.. we have waited this long! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	may 17 2013 i130 filer	hi HettyandSaid     as yo said they are working on Feb case now, then how is it possible that some of May petitioner got their approvals?? its bit strange cuz i know some peoples who got their approvals are April and May petitioners.     well im a 3rd April petitioner and got transferred to NSC on 15 Dec and still waiting for the approval its almost 1 month and 5 days passed, usually people got approvals within 3 weeks after getting transferred.i dont know how they are working?     by the way any one got their approval from NSC????plz reply here........ I am not sure. It usually goes by priority date but as we have seen on here there is no rhyme or reason to why some are processed faster than others. I believe I even saw someone from January not that long ago that still was waiting for noa2! I guess it depends on the case and how involved it is. Each case is different. Maybe not everyone put together a complete petition. But the good news is we are seeing movement, where there was none for some time. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	may 17 2013 i130 filer	you are welcome. and it has been just this last week I have seen approval for a few may filers. last I read they were working on february..i think february 13 or 14 filers.. has been a few days since I have checked. I am driving myself crazy looking all the time!    do you know how to make your timeline? it may help you. it will show you the possible times they will adjudicate your file. Mine right now says possibly between Jan 1 and Jan 21. but that is just an estimate. having your timeline filled in helps you see the next steps, and helps others to help you       Edited by HettyandSaid, 23 December 2013 - 12:27 AM. We also got an email that it was being shipped to NVC! So happy!! Was everything other than the signature in black ink on the I-864 you sent in? it was printed in black ink. I signed it in black ink. they said my black ink looked navy blue to them. so yes. the form was completed in black on. and printed out in black ink. and signed in black ink. and it was new black ink too. not faded. fresh black ink  For real??? NVC even had to check with a supervisor to make sure!  In an earlier post I showed a highlighted photo of where I was told to sign in black ink.  I am waiting to get another checklist saying I signed in black, I need to sign in blue   Ready to print out 10 copies and sign in many different colors to be safe! hahhaha! I am not one who calls every day or every week. I give it time. Just wondering now if it will take 60 days to say "yup, that right ther is black ink!" almost at my 30 of the 60 days! I understand but I don't. Considering my first checklist was I added income and assets together, and checked a wrong box. I understand that. I sent the corrections in, even signed in black ink. They claim it was not black ink. Not sure why. I have been at NVC a long time. Then they said my husband had undeliverable email address? We use it everyday. It works fine. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - September 2014	You got a checklist for signing in blue ink?  yes I did. they were firm on the phone. they told me it is a legal contract and has to be signed in black ink. they told me that was the ONLY thing wrong with my I864. And then they told me when I send it, i have to wait 60 days before I can call back and ask. They will get a hold of me! She even had her supervisor confirm it ..that it was the reason I had a checklist as my checklist was blank. 2 days after my call,, I received the checklist saying I had to sign in black ink.. and that was the ONLY thing on it! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - September 2014	Hello Everyone, My first post! I've been on here for a few months sporadically in this process getting loads of good advice so..thank you! We are just in the NVC process ourselves. I submitted the DS-261 on July 13th 2014....aaaannd still no IV bill invoiced   I think i've made a few mistakes after reading a lot of forums and reading about people getting checklists, so i wanted to see what you guys think about it all.   Mistake #1: On the Form I-864EZ, we left a few spots blank. Like Part 3, #9 - place of residence (if diff't from mailing). Also left Name of second employer blank since there's only one employer.   Mistake #2: Signed the form I-864EZ in blue ink! Thought this would be best because we filed using electronic processing. But re-read the instructions and realised they do specifically say black ink.   Mistake #3: On the ceac website, on august 23rd, clicked on the DS-261 link! Argh. Went from complete to incomplete. So i re-completed it, but I didn't get an email from NVC, so i'm hopeful that they are still just considering the july 13th date for submitting the ds-261. I read on the August NVC thread, that the resetting of the date was a glitch and it seems to be fixed - i'm hopeful of this since I don't want to be set back 60 days from august 23rd! I am planning to call NVC to double check next week.    So with the above mistakes, I am resigning myself for a checklist for our AOS package. Since we haven't even submitted the IV package yet, i'm guessing the timeline will be similar for approval of both packages even with a potential checklist. Really really hopeful for a december interview date, but am prepared for a January one...it would really suck if it's later than that!   Anyways, just wanted to post and let you guys know where my husband and I are at. I know that we are luckier than most since my husband is in seattle and I live in Vancouver and we do get to see each other every weekend...but it's hard when we're the only ones in our social circle going through this. However, it has been helpful and encouraging to see how helpful everyone is each other in this slow excruiciating beurocratic process! Your mistake #2...is my costly 60 day wait. I was told by NVC I have to wait 60 days for them to verify the papers I resigned in black ink..is indeed black ink.. to get my case complete.   I used a black pen.
