K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	can foreign fiance interview in US	Hey,   My fiance and I were wondering if it was possible for her to have her interview in the US rather than in London.   No, London it will be.   So the main question I guess is, can a foreign fiance receive their visa and go on their interview while already in the USA as a tourist? Yes, they can leave to their country and have the interview at the US Embassy in their country.  Then they can return using the K-1 visa.  Easy - Peasy   Any guidance would be great! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Time limit	I know you have to have met your fiancé within the last 2years at the time of the application. This was OK and I am waiting to have an interview. However due to an illness on my fiance's part I haven't got all my documents yet, and I am still waiting for my renewed passport to be delivered . By the time I will have made the actual appt for the interview at the Embassy in Tokyo, it will be over 2years since I last saw my fiancé. I can't visit him on the VWP due to a short overstay. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Help! Proof of ongoing relationship	We have already prepared the proof of ongoing relationship. so now We are just a bit confused if we should pass it as well. Does most of you guys here didn't pass the 'proof of on going relationaship" along with the I-129F packet?   WE didn't........but some of the proof of relationship evidence was also our proof of meeting in person evidence......for example.......a photo of her wearing the engagement ring I presented to her taken in front of a historic landmark to prove we were where we said we were as part of our meeting.  I included the receipts for the ring to close the loop that I did give that to her....which also served as evidence of a relationship.	baron555	Male	Russia	2014-04-30 12:11:00

I have my K1 interview in Montreal on May 13.  Anybody care to tell me how long they waited to have their visa in hand after the interview? I used the free IRS Tax Transcripts for the last three years for my submittals.........so can not be definite based on my personal experience.   The IRS Tax Transcripts are best because they are from the IRS and are their official acknowledgement of your income......W2s could be disputed or could be incorrect.   And....they are free and only take a few weeks to obtain...unless you have them fax them to a number which they can do within days.	baron555	Male	Russia	2014-04-30 11:24:00

I intend to include the following with the completed I134 form:   letter from bank letter from employer last five paystubs last year's W2   Does this seem sufficient? Nope....you need copies of the complete IRS filing for the last three years......or.....the free IRS Tax Transcripts which are even better.   Do I need to bring the original pay stubs and W2 to the interview or are copies suitable? Copies of more than just the W2s per above.   The instructions say to bring the items in duplicate - so two copies of EVERYTHING- including original letters? Copies   Last question and it's a silly one- the instructions say fill in the form in black ink, but both my fiance and our cosponsor filled it in blue ink. Is this a REAL issue? Do you think it will be a problem if she is retired?   Does you current income meet the requirement?  There is no need to have US income, just income.     Also, I just saw that the I-134 affidavit of support form has changed. And I don't see any co-sponsor section, should my fiance and co-sponsor both fill out the forms and send them together?   There is no special form.  You each complete a 134 form and attach as much documentation as you can.    Thanks in advance. I want to marry my girlfriend soon.  She has a ten year multiple entry US visa.  I know that I need to apply for a K1 Visa for her, but wouldn't it make sense for us to file the paperwork once she's with me ( temporarily ).  I realize that she will have to go back home to finish the paperwork, but CBP has always stamped her passport for a six month stay in the past, and I think this would be the best way so we don't have to spend much time apart.  Am I right?   Your plan is fine.  While she is here on the sox month stay you two can file and hope that the NOA2 is obtained within that time and then she goes back to do the medical and the interview.   I'm guessing I don't need an attorney for the K1 and can just use VisaJouney.com for guidance?   Unless you have very weird circumstances or bad past history with the USCIS, VJ is all you need.  It's not that hard.	baron555	Male	Russia	2014-05-02 13:45:00

I think ppl are always looking for the cat's fith leg how we say in spanish " la quinta pata al gato" Im happy today, very happy today, there many risks yes I know! And im willing to take them! I know is not going to be easier, but It will be worht it! He makes me very happy, Im at peace and thats all it matters. No red flags whats so ever... Im at peace! If tomorrow things change thats a totally diferent story but today Im happy!   International relationships.......and immigration to the US.....is definitely not for everyone.   I agree and our experience agrees, since we couldn't jump into the back seat and steam up the windows, all we could do long distance was talk.  And talk we did.  We both felt we knew all about each other and our likes and dislikes and our possible compatibilities or not.   All that being said, we two both took tremendous leaps of faith and trust that we would show up when we agreed to meet and then she would get onto the plane and that I would be the same person once they arrived.  We were adult about everything and gave each an "out card" to play at any time.       We had agreed during the visa process that either could just call it all off and we'd just walk away.  She also knew that she had the final say once she got here to proceed with the marriage.    For anyone to pass any kind of judgement regarding the number of times one needs to meet or how long you need to be engaged prior, etc etc, just doesn't understand someone else's situation could be different than theirs.  Don't let them affect you. Some messages were removed as not beneficial. It's a chore, but what I do now is every Monday, I edit the past week's chatlogs. That enables me to not have to do more than a week at a time & I can do a whole week in 15-30 minutes now. We also chat via Facebook, but I'm not including those at all. We do Skype calls but on my Xbox One or phone, so I can't really take logs, but it's fine. We have plenty of evidence.   You guys are getting close......Please do not send in tons of paper.....not everything....they will not ready through everything.   Here's my suggestion and what we did......worked for us.......   Draft a letter title Evolution of Our Relationship.....should be about three pages long. In this you will provide a summary of how you first met, what you talked about then, how you came to decide to meet in person, describe that meeting, what you talked about after that meeting, when your relationship progressed to talking about a future together, when you decided to pursue the K-1, what you talked about then, what you talked about a future life together in the US, what you talk about now in planning that future.  Throughout this letter refer to specific documents or evidences that bear these out.   Most relationships follow a normal progression and your evidence should bear this progression out.	baron555	Male	Russia	2014-05-01 10:02:00

Check your state's marriage requirements to be sure. Yes you must be free to marry in the state from which you file. Parents can not give consent, if you are underage, only some letter from the appropriate marriage office, usually the county clerk. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Visa and medical packet question on k2 portion?	??????????????????????????????     That is totally against every portion of information I've ever gotten.   Then you've received very bad information....obviously not from here on VJ.   One lists ALL children on the 129f and G325 forms, when filing the initial petition.   Then, on the DS-156K form back in the old days, or on the new online D-160 form, you list children are "To Join" (meaning come with the parent and which are "To Follow" (meaning will come later, but within a year's time of the parent's visa issuance).   The To Join children attend their medical and come to the Embassy interview with the parent.   The To Follow children stay home.  When it is near their time to obtain a visa, the Embassy is notified and they do to their medical.  Then they will have their own interview and have their visa placed into their passport.     This is the way it always have been. Hi All   Question   My fiancée is flying out and has her visa and the (singular) medical packet. Her daughter is flying out in 2-3 months and has her K2 visa. Her Daughter K2 has no medical packet, it's all in one bundle.     I called the so helpful UStraveldocs but I just do not trust them.   I'm assuming the medial packet is submitted for AOS later on.
