The first reason I gave them was the long wait with uscis, the rest was just a semi long letter with personal reasons. My hope was that someone with a heart would read it! I also never asked to have the appointement set sooner what I wanted was to be notified sooner. I didn't want to have to wait until the 2nd week of april for various reasons- I sent it to NVC who forwarded it the same night to my embassy I know you posted before...can`t find...where did you e-mail it?just to the nvcinquiry?anyones attention?Thanks!	shaka	Not Telling	Russia	2012-04-05 12:45:00

We were told we could request an expedite for USCIS losing our file for six months. But we're not in a huge hurry. We don't want to POE until after June 12th anyway. So I'm sitting here playing with numerous booking sites and airline sites trying to find good prices from Knoxville, Tennessee to either Winnipeg or Grand Forks, North Dakota. (reason being our SUV is in Grand Forks) It's almost $300 cheaper to fly to Winnipeg instead of Grand Forks. That is really odd! The cheapest ticket I have found to Winnipeg is $311 with taxes and fees. I haven't' seen a plane ticket that cheap in YEARS! We received documentation for this case. Please allow at least 20 business days for the documents to be reviewed. IMPORTANT: Do not let more than one year pass without contacting the NVC concerning this visa petition. If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact (by telephone, mail, or e-mail) with the NVC, all submitted fees and documents expire. If this occurs, the fees must be paid again and documents must be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process. You may think it's "more than urgent," but your doctor must be able to back that up and give you a letter indicating this, as NVC requested. You need to get that letter. Ok,Rujby,you are one call away.Have her call the doctor.And it is either 1. yes,where do you want me to fax the letter or 2.Sorry,what are you talking about? And another thing, I've seen a few comments here that you need a letter from the doctor in order for the NVC to even look at your requset and that is so not true. It's not the NVC who looks into your request anyway, they will forward it to your embassy. When I emailed NVC my request to expedite my interview appointment I did not send anything along excepts for my thoughts. Yes I did mention that it took us over 200 days at uscis, but the rest that I wrote down were different personal reasons to why I wanted to be assigned a date sooner. I also wrote that I knew that my reasons weren't valid as such but that it's worth a try and they forwarded my request... Now if it will go through or not is a different story, but to say that the NVC wont bother with a request without a doctors letter just ain't right. I've been following this board all March, and as we've transferred into April I decided I should probably make an account and join you. This seems to keep my sanity level somewhat normal. The last stretch of this process is driving me absolutely insane. (I'm sure many of you would agree.) Submitted all our documents to NVC, on March 21. For some reason, my lawyer sent out two packages all at once. I just got a check list on March 30, saying we have one missing piece of information. My husband emailed my lawyer all the needed info, and I haven't been able to get a hold of my lawyer since then!! I'm going crazy because it could've been in review by now. Do you think I can just email NVC myself by putting the case number on all the scans at the top? Or should I keep trying to get a hold of my lawyer? (Last time it took me two weeks to finally get to him) My emails go unanswered, our phone calls go unanswered and their voicemail is full. It is so frustrating. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - April 2012	Based on last year within the same time signatures and this year starting in Jan (countries Stats as well - non EP Embassies), I do believe that as long as your NVC case was completed between the 8th and the end of the month, an interview are usually assigned around 9th-12th of the FOLLOWING month (unless offer is greater than demand). And 80% of the time an interview is scheduled within either the end of the same month or the following: Example: Case approved 03/15/11 -> Interview assigned 04/10/11 -> Interview scheduled 05/20/11. This is a real example I found around here. Folks that gets their interview sooner are usually because of someone else rescheduled/cancel their time. So chances are if your NVC CC at the end of the month you'll be waiting the least amount of time and vice versa for cases like mine. Despite these facts, I still think this is based on Embassies' seats assigned. They took 3D pictures of her, they keeps saying that baby is so so beautiful. i am so proud... She looks like me, she got my wife's eyes and her sister's nose and my face...
