K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	GOT MY K-1 VISA FINALLY	Hey Everybody I got my K-1 visa today I am so Happy Alhamdolillah. I was worried when I saw almost everyone to go through AP from US Embassy Islamabad but I am so Lucky that I never got AP and recieved visa after 5 days for my interview. I will pray for everyone on this forum to get their Visas asap (Ameen). Philippines	Christmas Plans...	He like it so much, the weather on december fine's with him, the seafoods, listening to christmas carols,parties on the street till midnight,lol and He likes how we celebrate new years too.... lots of fireworks and he even trown some coins to all kids,lots of fun... Our neighbors so happy that I brought santa claus from southpole sure, I will send you bunch Hi Kristal! Yes, Filipino Christmas is really extraordinary. How did you husband like it? Philippines	Christmas Plans...	Lucky you guys! I miss spending christmas in the Philippines, the way we celebrate it,really extraordinary, even my husband says that, since he experienced it once.. We might stay home and make some Polish-Filipino foods. Happy travelling! Hi everyone! Christmas time is fast approaching. The weather is getting alittle colder, stores are stocking items for upcoming sales, and people are preparing grand menus for upcoming feasts. My wife and I are very excited this year. We are planning to spend Christmas in the Philippines. We have spent the previous two Christmases here in the U.S. It was very enjoyable. My wife saw snow for the first time. We cuddled next to a warm fireplace for the first time. We attended Simbang Gabi (American style) for the first time. But there are some things we miss. We miss the puto bumbong and hot tsokolate during the cold mornings there. We also miss all the gulay and seafood there. So...what are your plans for Christmas this year? Any of you guys going back to Philippines? What places are you planning to visit? If you're staying in the U.S., what are your plans? I know we Filipina are so sensitive (ok not all of us) but open communication will helps, I am sure while you are chatting you are talking everything and anything under the sun so eventually it will lead to future plans,expenses,budgets,dreams etc, there you go,way to talk about her family in the philippines when she leave. Its good to help but dont teach them to be dependent on you, totally.. Would you rather give a rice or let them know how to crop rice? Our cultures are different here when it comes to family but then It wasnt the husbands obligation to help our family way back. I do help/support my family in my own means, so dont worry your fiancee will learn everything when she comes here, I am sure she is smart enough to understand everything when you talk. Helping her family still up to you guys hello everyone, i hope all is well, after reading a very interesting recent post i have to say i am as nervous as a long tailed cat in a rocking chair factory!!! Is it like on the web site (support-russia@ustraveldocs.com) or like on the instructions to the interview (consulmo@state.gov)? In the past years, I used the latter one, but not sure if it is still the case. Thanks yuliya actually,it worked for me last year as well however,I e-mailed them yesterday,no answer,no auto-reply either...there was one last year... Russia, Ukraine and Belarus	Dual citizenship	That's slightly incorrect. If you keep your Russian citizenship, you are ineligible for a Russian visa. You have to give up your Russian citizenship BEFORE you apply for a Russian visa (and if you are going to travel to Russia, there is no sense in giving up your Russian citizenship). How can it be possible in real life?I do not quite get it.Let`s say I do have both passports.Leaving the States ,going to Russia,showing the Russian passport at the check in,correct?Because they will not buy american one with no visa...Once leaving Russia,what do you present?I would say american passport as otherwise you can not get on the plane.However,where is the visa to Russia or any proof of your staying in Russia? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - April 2012	I just got mine too!! We don't have to bring anything to the interview besides our passports and the emailed letters! I thought they'd want to see lots of stuff. We have an early morning interview and almost a 3 hour drive to get there but my husband didn't think I should have to get up that early and get on the road with 2 kids, one of them will be a new born, so he has booked us a very nice room at the Sheraton already. Oh,that is so sweet of him! They did not request for anything from us either,everything is checked,so they have all of the things needed.Of course,I remember to bring myself ,passport,my medical.I will also take additional passport size pictures just in case though they do have them(I heard stories...),all the prooooooooooooooooooveeeeeeeeeeees of the relationship(want to see the guards face when he sees me with my huge box for 10 years...).	shaka	Not Telling	Russia	2012-04-06 09:58:00
