good evening mga mommies...

ask lang ako kung nakaranas ba kayo ng spotting during pregnancy? at anong kulay? ilang araw at ano yong naramdaman nyo? meron kasi ako ngayon, nung una kong punas kanina light siya tapos nagcr ako ulit at nung nag wipe ako medyo darker siya at may kasamang maliit and sticky blood. mga mommies normal lang ba ito? im really worried

when I was pregnant and around the same weeks as you are right now, I had "pinkish" discharge but it just happened once. As the fetus is growing, your uterus is expanding too so our body is undergoing so many changes. But every case is different, my thoughts to you is to contact your OB to be on a safer side.CONGRATS! and you take care of your self....keep posted :)

Why dont you try the birth control shot kung ayaw mo mag pills.

for as long as walang complication ang pagbubuntis mo ok na ok pa 'yan. I remember when I was 37 weeks pregnant cge pa rin kami nang cge.

BTW, in pertinent to the question of when to have sex again after having a baby? I was 4.5 weeks  me and my hubby both can't wait..and waiting sucks!

It's ok to have a conversation of this matter for as long as we abide the rules and regulations of this forum (I think!)

How often do you feed your baby in a day?
[/quote]

nung nag start palang sya it was once a day lang ( I fed him Banana and Oatmeal Cereal ). After 2 weeks, I introduced him to Gerber fruits and vegetables (different kinds every other 3 days para kung may allergy sya of a certain food makita mo ang reaction.) When he was 5.5 months, we feed him 3x a day. He's also taking Enfamil Poly-vi-sol vitamins with Iron.

di ako gagamit ng pills...we wont do calendar too...may side effects kasi ang pag gamit ng pills i guess kasi mama ko before nabuntis sya sa kambal namin na kapatid she use pills for eleven years kasi 12 years old ako nung pinanganak yung kambal..then yun akala namin buntis na sya then after kasi lumalaki na tyan nya then yun nagbleeding sya akala namin shes having miscarriage pero hay nakalimutan ko na ano yun basta di naman pala sya buntis parang side effects raw ng pills yun...then nagtry sila ulit so yun nabuntis sya sa kambal.

kaya nga dito sa US hindi over the counter yung pills d kagaya sa atin sa pinas. Here you're advice to have a routine check-up with your OB-GYN to monitor your health.

Sweetpink-di na ako nag submitt ng original kasi we submitt our papers personally. Pero dinala ko yong original for them to see. If you plan to submitt it by mail..you only need 1 original for each document..pero ibabalik din naman nila sayo yong original. Sang consulate ka ba under?

NSO birth certi. ba talaga kailangan? I'm run out of copy and I checked their website, gooshhh $20/copy.

it was 4 weeks with me before nung totally nawala yung bleeding. regarding naman sa pills, I am currently on birth control pills called Loestrin 24 FE, it was recommended by my OB. Binigyan nila ako nang discount card good for 12 refills. you just have to show ur prescription and card in the pharmacy store and you only pay $24/refill, pag walang discount card I think it was $75. If you have insurance, they might covered for your birth control pills. Meron kaming insurance but I just took advantage of the discount card :P

Galing naman at 2nd food stage na sya. Gumagawa ka ba ng pagkain niya minsan? Ok na ok baby ko, malapit na din namin pakainin ng solid food, pag 6 months na sya on the 18th. :)

RyaNRiza - nagsimula kaming pakainin c baby nung 4 months pa lang sya. Gusto ko nga sanang mag try na gumawa nang baby food cguro one of this days. kahit anong flavor nang baby food kinakain nya pero ang pinaka favorite nya yung Gerber Yogurt.

pink- when my baby turned 2 months, I had him sit up for a couple of seconds while supporting his head para ma exercise lang yung neck nya. he started to have a full neck-head control when he was almost 3 months old. Ilang months na ba baby mo?

RyaNRiza- 18.6 lbs na ang baby ko ngayon. he's now eating the 2nd food stage of Gerber dinner, fruits and vegetables. tapos after every meal maghahanap pa nang milk. kamusta na baby mo?

Ok I think I know of what you mean by the "baby getting a passport in Philippines consul"...

" Can a child born here in the USA still obtain a Philippine Passport? After the 1973 Constitution, if at least one of the child’s biological parents is still a Filipino
citizen at the time of his/her birth, he/she is a Filipino citizen under Philippine
law. He/She may also obtain a Philippine Passport after the parent(s) file a Report of Birth with an accomplished passport application form.

To file a Report of Birth and to apply for the child’s Philippine passport, the following documents are required:

Three (3) original duly accomplished Report of Birth forms and original and three (3) copies of:
The Child’s Birth Certificate
Data pages of the Filipino parent’s Philippine passport
The parents’ Marriage certificate
For Reports of birth filed more than 12 months after the child’s birth, an original and two copies of notarized Affidavit of Delayed Registration must also be submitted.
Accomplished passport application form and two (2) passport size photos
At least one of the Filipino parents and the child must be present at the Consulate when filing the application.
The fee for filing a Report of Birth is $25.00, in addition to the passport application fee."

http://www.philippin...passport.htm#12

so, I guess we can both file for Philippines and US passports for our babies, am I right? but still my previous question hasn't been answered yet, WILL THIS MEANS THAT THE BABY HAS AUTOMATIC DUAL CITIZENSHIP?

ok can somebody enlighten me a bit. since most of our babies here are US citizens, if we plan of visiting back Philippines kasama yung baby, where to get the baby passport...in Philippines Consulate or in US Department of State?

Is it really a requirement to submit a Report of Birth/Marriage in Philippine Consulate? Will that make the baby have a dual citizenship?

rose19 - I was 35 ng pinanganak ko baby namin. I doubt it. Kaya in my opinion, it's useless. Maybe you can ask the doctor ano ang advantage, if pwede ba nilang i-fix pag may problema.

about the Amniocentesis test, I was 30 yrs. old when I conceived my baby and my OB gave me an option of wheather or not take the test but I took it. It's my first born so gusto ko lang makasiguro. And my OB explained it to me that it's not all about resolving if there's a possible problem or terminating the fetus, it's more of preparing the parents psychologically if ever the baby will born with physical of mental defects because they offer counseling. And plus yung hospital na malapit dito sa bahay namin, they don't have the neonatal care, so the earlier the better na ma detect nila kung may abnormality ba yung baby para ma refer ka nila for another hospital na mas equipped for this kind of situation.

within 3 weeks after having my baby yun din ginawa ko, I sterilized the tap water then pag malamig na nilalagay ko sa container pero minsan pag nagmamadali ako or pagod galing work parang nakakatamad. So since then, me and my hubby just decided to use the Nursery or Gerber water for the baby.

I just want to share my experience. ever since nung new born palang baby ko, I bought a small water container yung may measuring line then I will just mix an enough amt. that he can consumed for the next 24 hrs. and refrigerate it. then pag gutom na yung baby ko I will just pour the milk in the bottle and warm it on the bottle warmer.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I think if you're 8cm dilated d ka na pwedeng bigyan ng epidural..of course not unless there's a call for emergency during the last minute of your labor. With me before, during my pre-registration in the hospital I got to meet the anesthesiologist..he discussed the pros&cons of using epidural and that during my labor I can always say no if I don't want to.

Hi Everyone! I'll be sending mine hopefully this week, still preparing for my documents. Is it ok, if I file it a little bit late? my 90 days was last April 11 but I was out of the country and just arrived a few days ago... So, now I'm prepring for it the best that I can. Has any of you submitted an affidavit sworned by your friends? Please help. Thanks.

It is ok to file late but it stated on the I-751 instructions that " FAILURE TO FILE BEFORE THE EXPIRATION DATE MAY BE EXCUSED IF YOU DEMONSTRATE WHEN YOU SUBMIT THE APPLICATION THAT THE DELAY WAS DUE TO EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND YOUR CONTROL, AND THAT THE LENGTH OF THE DELAY WAS REASONABLE"...

Anyhow, my questions are -

(1) Where do we get a copy of our appointment letter? email or will it be sent through courier?

(2) Who will get it? the petitioner or the beneficiary?
- I read they no longer send us a packet instead we'll just download it on their website.

(3) How do we know if our case already reached USEM?

Looking forward to see your replies. Thanks.

1. your appointment letter will be sent to you together with you packet through courier

2. it's the beneficiary who will receive the packet/appointment letter but they the uscis will send a copy of the appointment to the petitioner too.

3. u may track your case in uscis website or call...

St. Lukes will give her vaccines that will be appropriate for her, it is part of the medical fee that she will be paying. She could decline to have the vaccines and it will still be ok (she will still have to pay the standard fee, no less or discount) but she will still be needing those vaccine report when she gets to the US and be adjusting her status and from what i heard it is more expensive to have all those vaccines in the US plus some of those vaccines need to be administered in successions so it is better for her to start it at st. lukes since she will be paying for it whether she'll have it or not.
