What does this mean? Thank you. Did you get a Notice Of Action 2? That means it has been adjudicated and approved, if you've received it, I imagine. You got a case # on NOA1 btw. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	anybody had a problem with the birthcertificate b4?	this time i worried my birth...i think will go manila for the clarification of my mistake family name... Just an opinion to share... if you apply for a process to correct your last name in your birth certificate, it will take a long time. If I am not wrong, you have to look for a lawyer to do the process. God bless! that's correct...it will take about 6 months...and it will cost you about Php50,000 (according to a lawyer). i had the same problem with you goofy...BUT, i just followed what is written on my birth certificate. One of my letter in my lastname had actually typographical error...but i decided to use it as it is. So all of my important documents...from school to my NBI clearance to my voter's id to my Passport...I use what is on my birth certificate. Good Luck on your journey goofy...God Bless. When he got our NOA1 he was about to request for visa expedition because he was going to be deployed but we decided to have the process like normal because the time was so tight. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Marine in Japan	I have a gf in the Philippines and i am thinking how should we go on with the process, I really need your help since we are new in thie site. Here is the story, I am currently working as a marine and my contract will end on the year 2009 but right now I am based in Okinawa Japan, I am staying here until July. Please enlighten me on this, I need to know the step to take. I really wanna be with her, where should I file the visa and what shall we do to do it? ... Your reply is much appreciated. Thanks in advance I'm also a filipina, my fiance is an active duty in the US military and is right now in the middle east. When he was filing the petition he was based in yokosuka japan at that time. He was about to send the application to Hawaii or Guam (sorry i forgot) because he is an active duty who is outside the US. But you can also mail your application to the service center which your home address in the united states belongs to. Like if you live in Alaska your service center is Nebraska Service Center. We were planning to request for expedition of our visa process but we had little time because he was already going to the middle east. We just received our NOA2 two weeks ago. His parents are the ones receiving the mails from the USCIS since he is deployed. They tell when they get notices from the USCIS. Anyways that's all i can share. Just a thought about the 4 copies of G-325A form, maybe because there are 4 offices that need each one of those so they will have their own records. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	NVC Arrivals from Last Week's Batch of CSC NOA2	Our NOA2 was 7 Nov and NVC got it 5 Dec and sent it out to the consulate yesterday so we waited a month. Sure hope I don't have to wait a month. E-mail response says nothing in their sys as of Fri. Hopefully with the recent wave of approvals the box is getting full and CSC will soon send it off to NH. Fingers crossed. Yay! Just called NVC. They already had my petition in the system and gave me a case #. USCIS only gave me an electronic NOA on Nov 30, so things are moving fast!
