The police clearances are only good for 12 months so you need to gauge how long you think it will take before your interview against how long it will take to get the certificate from the HK police. I would go ahead and call/email now and ask for a timeline and then go from there. Thank you for your response I appreciate it a lot i suggest you apply for it after the petition arrives at NVC. I filled out my ds-160 i answered yes and select fiance You need answer yes,and select fiance No i didn't because we use a service that they check every time we are finish with one form, they are kind of expert and we just follow them.
