K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Yes, you can visit!	Hi everyone. I'm new here and I just found out that i can actually visit my fiance in the states. I went through all the posts in the this tread and it was very helpful. It definitely encouraged me to go on and try to visit my baby. I have a few questions thought ... I got really confused about the visa waiver countries and when i checked my home country ( Bulgaria ) was not in the list of the VWCs. So I was wondering if visitors from VWCs do need an issued visa from the american embassy int their countries or they actually go only through officers questions when they get to the POE in the US. Im really confused ... did i got it right that if i have a tourist visa issued from the american embassy in my country i still can be turned down by the officer at the POE. It will definately mean a shorter processing time. Your step dad can be the co-sponsor for the support documents. One last note, you can only stay 90 days within a year time period in BG. Normally, the US petitioner sends the I-130 from within the US while the beneficiary is in his/her country. But there are cases (like mine and yours) in which they lived together in the foreign coountry and submitted the I-130 from there. Well, in our csae we used the US domicile for return address. The reason why it's important to show US domicile is that the purpose of the immigrant visa petition is mainly to reunite families in US soil. If you're a US citizen, you're not obligated to be in the US for any amount of time. If you don't meet the minimum for support, get a relative to sign on to it. Sorry I can't help there though as we're not done with that yet. I'm not sure either if the woman has to show the same proof of support as a male petitioner. I'm sure more knowledgeable people will be able to give advice to you here. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	new to this with I-130 questions	hello to all! im new here and have been browsing this site. i have some questions, but first i will tell you our story..... im from america and met my husband in april of 2006 while he was on a work visa. we dated the whole time he was in america, his visa was expired in october 2006 so he had to return to bulgaria.... and he offered me to go with him. so october 31 2006-nov 14 2006 i was in bulgaria. i returned home and waited until march 2 2007 for him to return on another work visa... in april 2007 we moved in together with a roommate (my 1st apartment) and again in oct his visa was expired.... so i moved back with my parents (the apartments were being rebuilt anyway so i had to move) and again i went to bulgaria with him in oct 2007. in nov 2007 we went to england to visit his brother for a while and in feb 2008 returned to bulgaria. in april of 2008 me and my now husband went to the US embassy in sofia so i could get a paper saying i "can marry a bulgarian in bulgaria". the consulte there asked me if i had any questions and i asked her while i was waiting on my I-130 to be processed what to do, because i didnt want to go home without him, and all she said was "o just stay here!!" and kinda laughed...anyway on october 15, 2008 we were married, we sent our I-130 to vermont in nov 2008. and now just waiting....and in jan i found out my I-130 was transffered to california.... my question is since ive been out of the states for more than a yr will this hurt our visa application? because i dont want to jepordize our application, but at the same time i dont want to go home without him..... also for the next form that ill need to fill out for the affidate of support i know that since im not working that it will be denied, so i can i just fill out the other form with my step-dad first wihout sending the 1st one and then it being deined? beacuse when we go to the states we'll be living with my parents for a while. they just bought another house this past summer so they said we can rent the old house while they move into the new one... any advice and gudiance through this would be much much help!! thanks in advance!!!!	noneyabuz	Female	Bulgaria	2009-02-01 08:33:00

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	question for interview	hello all, i have a question about the interview.... my husband came to the states on a J1 visa (which i dont think u are allowed to change jobs). this was the 2nd time he was in the states on this type of work visa. he quit the job that had sponsored this visa and started another one....and left before the visa expired.... but my question is if at the interview they ask what kind of work he had and he tells them he worked for another job than the one the visa was for, will this be a problem, do u guys think the immigrant visa will be denied?? any advices and opinions r welcome, thanks in advance!!	noneyabuz	Female	Bulgaria	2009-02-16 09:49:00
