Hi All,

Our AOS PACKAGE was sent and INV BILL was paid in the same time.
As I checked online and NVC automatic system said that Package Instructions was generated on June 2nd, I believe that they received the payment .
But I still have a question about AOS Package which sent to them , Does it mean that NVC already received the Affidavit support package and it completed and accepted ? innocent.gif

Pls help if you have similar experiences.

Go or send mail to senator or congressman to help . write down your case and your reason .

We have waited for approval from USCIC quite long . and nobody knew what was going on with our petition I-I30. and my Husband went to Senator Mc cain but it didnt work and he wrote to congressman , it worked 1 week after he wrote to them, USCIS sent him the status that there were trastranlation missing . Unfortunately everything was going to slow and stressfull smile.gif.

But you can still try better than waiting .

Well here are our story :
When we filled I-I30 was in April 2006 status of my husband was LPR , he checked to USCIC even came there personally the answered was please wait and it was in process, and nobody couldn’t give straight answer. We followed up periodically .He wrote to senator Mc Cain but same answer and only give visa bulletin as because he was LPR only that we thought, and his staff answered that we had to wait 7 years to get approval , it was really stressed for us, he came there personally but they almost kicked him out when he started to explain and complained that he was an US ARMY and it doesn’t mean anything for them ? the anwer was same wait 7 years that’s the time for Asia , meanwhile he started to apply his citizenship, and because he had to be every 6 month in Hungary and every 6 months in USA , so it took almost 1 year , it was pending in Finger print , he took Finger print in US Embassy in Hungary and sent it but when he came back to USA 2 months later they said they didn’t received it , even He showed them prove of delivery that somebody received it ? . Finally end of November 2007 he got his citizenship and we waited for 3 months since he adjusted his status from LPR to citizen and it was nothing , no updated , he started to wrote to Congressman .and it worked, finally USCIS wrote mail to him based on your mail to congressman here is your current status. We didn’t take K visa because I have to back to my original country for interview and ETC so we decided to go for CR/IR Visa.

Trying everything possible, follow up every 2 weeks, or come in person with appointment to USCIS. If the petitioner is American , I think they have full right to bring family to USA.

I asked to speake t a supervisor and he put me on hold and came back to me with same answer. Its not valid but they dont have answer as to what I should do and I can't talk to person would reviewed document.

As anyone experineced this problem. Any help appreciated

Hello sir, I was married in El Jadida, and i am pretty sure there was the paper from the adoul , then we had to take that to the court, they had to make another paper, with a stamp on the back of it, or maybe i am confused, maybe the one with the stamp is from the adoul
I have another that is on a long green sheet of paper, with stamps ,

I am Indonesian , but living in Hungary.

You can get police certificate from MABES POLRI Jl Trunojoyo Jakarta Selatan which cover all district of the cities where you or your Fiance lived.

The police certificate has 2 version language , they have both indonesian and english , no need to get certification .

Police certificate from MABES is valid and accurate.

I have no RFE.

Try not to worry if you aren't able to track the package. Its not a critical part of the process. You can always call the consulate and confirm that it was received. Depending on the country and how quickly they process papers, you may also be able to ask if packet 3 was mailed out to the beneficiary and the date for the interview.

If you know the date the package was sent, then put in the tracking number of "EXP 04 JUN 2008A " but change the day and month to reflect the correct date. If you know the package was sent September 5, then enter "EXP 04 SEP 2008A". I would show the pick up date range as just a few days for example: 09/04/2008 - 09/09/08. I did not count the weekend.

Using this method will not find YOUR particular package, but it will show packages that have left the NVC and shipped to your country. For those countries that the NVC ships many packages to, you will find it more difficult to know if you're package was mailed. My fiance is in Brazil so when I tracked our package, there was only one package sent to Brazil in a 3 day period so I assumed it was our package.

To be sure you can try a date range between 06/03/2008 to 06/06/2008 in the date range.

I have been living in hungary since Jan 2004, and I have submitted to NVC the police certificate from Hungary , but on their police certificate wasnot mentioned the periode that I have living in Hungary for those periode.The officer who issued this police certificate said that they couldnt put the periode only name , place and date of birth, mother name and address.

do you think it will be accepted ??


2 days ago I checked status on NVC mesage that there is missing doc, my husband checked with them , they said that the indonesian police certificate is missing or something not acceptable and I am working on it to get it since I have lived in Indonesia before Jan 2004.

I had one police certificate which issued on 2004 but already expired, it was record when I left my country.

do you think NVC will accept my old police certificate even already expired and since I didnt stay anymore in Indonesia.


A Life operator gave confusing informations regarding police certificate, they didnt even know exactly whether missing or not acceptable , they asked us to check the link when mail received . it is difficult to get straight answer from them . what can I do? call again and get further explanations??.

I just checked automatically system from NVC today that they sent mail on July 22th for missing documents.

Unfortunately , you must to sugmit Police record from Vietname.
Same case with me.
I have been living in Hungary for 5 years but I still have to submit my Indonesian Police certificate.

I would call the embassy. But, I am not sure, but if you got married in China. They might make you do the interview in China.

Please check again the histories of your case , if you have I-129F approved then you are applying for K3 Visa, and the interview place will be in the country where the marriage took.
But if you have I-130 Approved means you are working with CR/IR then you should be able to interview in Sweden as your current resident.

So if you can find the law , or Uscis statement about this , you can show to US embassy.

I am sorry to hear your case.


I think your husband as american citizen should call the US embassy and try to confince them that you should be able to have interview there and before already asked with USCIS and USCIS confirmed it . also You or your husband need to provide them all necessary documents that you have been living there.
if it wont work , go to congressman or senator to help.

Your case almost similar with me, I am indonesian but I have been living in Hungary for 5 years and we set up interview in Hungary and my husband already asked before to USCIS that it is ok if I have interview in Hungary , that's why case number was assigned with BDP mean Budapest ( Hungary).
But my case is in NVC still, waiting for review documents.

are there any most difficult visa ( reunited family Visa ) to get in the world? or only for America??
why is so hard to get visa if we are family , why it takes some months, even years just to be together with Family.

Which form got the RFE? We had an RFE on the I-864. Our mailed response to the RFE was entered into the system on August 8 (after our DS-230 arrived), and our case was complete on August 15. So basically just a week!

Check with the doctor that is doing your exam. He may be able to get you up to date. He/She can probably figure out what you need. Good luck!

AVR just updated to "IV Fee Bill Generated...."
It was the first AVR update for me.

From what I've seen, once all your docs are in, it's 1 to 2 weeks before you get a Case Complete.
