Europe & Eurasia (except the UK and Russia)	Hello Romania!!!	hello guys! as mai avea o intrebare, adresata in special celor ce au trecut deja de interviu...Ce raspuns prefera consulatul de la Bucuresti la intrebarea 11 din I-134 affidavit of support? S-a mai raspuns pe forum la intrebarea asta, dar impresia generala a ramas ca fiecare consulat are o preferinta pentru un raspuns sau altul: fie check the box cu "I intend" etc, fie se scrie N/A K1 visa. Ma intrebam ce au completat logodnicii vostri si daca ati avut vreo problema la interviu cu acel formular. Multumesc! Asia: South	POLICE CLEARANCE	HI VJER'S, I'M A FILIPINA. I LIVE IN ILIGAN CITY PHILIPPINES. I JUST GOT MY NOTIFICATION LETTER FOR K-1 INTERVIEW FROM THE US EMBASSY TODAY. IN 2008, I WORKED IN SAUDI ARABIA FOR 8 MONTHS. MY PROBLEM:I NEED TO GET A POLICE CLEARANCE FROM THE SAUDI GOVERNMENT. CAN ANY BODY TELL ME HOW TO GET THIS POLICE CLEARANCE? WHO SHOULD I CONTACT OR CALL? SALAMAT PO! I had the same question just about one month ago. I lived in Israel for 8 months and asked if I needed police clearance from there. Other VJ members told me that I needed police clearance from places I lived for AT LEAST 1 YEAR, so I didn't get any police certificate beside the one from Romania. National Visa Center (Dept of State)	How fast does NVC receive...	Ok, finaaally got through, between 6pm and 6.45pm EST of course! A veeery nice guy told me my petition has been forwarded to the Consulate today, March 21, 2011!!! I thought I was lost or sth. Haha. Got my case number. Keep calling them! It took 2 weeks(since NOA2) for them to forward ours, so don't panick if a week has passed and your case isn't there yet. And even if they tell you that the case is not in their system. That's what they told us on Friday. Call back in a couple of days as you might get another operator. Plus, that will allow them time to log your case in. Good luck! yaayyy! Congrats girl! I remember I called NVC a week after our approval and they had sent my file to the consulate earlier that day...But that was back in July 2010 when everything seemed to move so much faster than these days. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Embassy Application	Hello John! Looking at ur timeline i see u already applied for IR-1/CR-1 and K3 too. Regarding ur question about appling for visa to embassy... they changed the legislation from February 1st and USCIS is the only one who receive this kind of applications. I guess ur in the same boat as i am.... and waitting for approval around late Nov...early Dec. I hope for a soon reply from USCIS, but...let's face it... they are lazy. They are trying to reduce the unneeded movement of this petition and the cost associated with it. Your I129F will make it to the embassy much quicker than you can get the I130 going again... and even if both went to NVC at the same time, your I129F would beat the I130 to the embassy by months. The CR1 is the better visa, but will take more time to get (especially now that you will need the I824). Unless there is a huge difference in the interview scheduling time for CR-1 vs. K3 at your embassy, you would probably be better off (in terms of time to reunite with your spouse) if you go K3.
