After checking out Igor's list this week, i asked my hunny if she was ready to receive the NOA2 in mail and hikes, Today morning after 2 days it was there informing us about our approval. I asked because almost everyone who filed the same day as we did had got their Approvals so i would say its accurate. The list helps you assess the progress of your visa process relative to other filers within the same time period. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	K-1 Visa approved!	Hi everyone, My fiancee was approved for her K-1 visa today! We just wanted to say "Thank you!" for all the help and advice; we definitely could not have made it this far and are really grateful for all the help and are hoping we will be able to help others in the future. They ended up not checking the I-129F copy I sent here, but I'm not complaining at all. One thing we were wondering about is if it's necessary for her to bring along with her the I-129F I sent her when she goes through the POE next month. She'll be bring a lot of things over with her and I don't want to add any extra things she has to carry with her on her way here. Thank you again for all your help! Congrats! It can't hurt to be extra safe... I will not take the copy of the entire I-129F, but I will make sure to have all the NOAs and the proofs of relationship I presented at the Consulate (the package I prepared for the interview was more complete than the initial petition)...Just in case... While there we received our interview date from the consulate scheduled for September 22.....Medical on the 20th. Such a good birthday gift from the consulate! I have emailed the embassy in Yaounde, cameroon twice now but no reply. Its just not even possible to get anyone on the phone. I will do the forms. Thanks for your reply. Am sure there should be other people with a similar problem. I don't know what to think about this embassy. Hmm, you know what else you could do? Thanks for ur help Have you tried emailing them? All this time I have communicated with the consular staff in Bucharest via email. Hope that works Oh, wait...I just saw your timeline. Did you mean that your package left NVC on July 28? In your timeline it appears Aug 28, which cannot be, right? Your file must have surely gotten to the embassy sometime in the first week of August. Try to contact them by email and if you don't receive you package 3 this month, fill out and download the needed forms (check the Downloads tab above. Best of luck! Or should I write them a letter and send it to them? Advice welcome. (Ex-fiance just started dating a girl with whom he cheated on me last year. That's sign enough for me that he's not worth it.) K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2010 K-1 CSC	Hi! So happy to finally get our NOA2. There are three of us (including Larysa-Simon and Tammy-Sheldon) with NOA1 date of May 4. We all had our NOA2 approved on July 19! We never got updates online. Status is still "Initial Review", and we didn't get an email or SMS prior to the hard copy. For those who are still waiting, I'm hoping you'll get yours soon, too! A lot of people are getting approved within 72-84 days recently, and hard copy is received after 5-7 days. Don't worry too much if you're not like the others who get approved really fast :-) and don't worry about the online updates if you're not being touched, it's not reliable. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2010 K-1 CSC	Our file was "touched" both yesterday and today...I wonder if that's a good thing. Maybe it has something to do with that processing change and sending the files from the central processing center back to to the service centers. I don't think you guys need to worry too much at this point; at the very least, being touched means that your file is being checked, which normally is a good thing. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Beneficiary Financial Responsibilities	Friends, My fiance was worried that since I have financial responsibilities such as loans and credit cards debt, it would affect my visa approval. Have you heard denial based on this? I plan to maintain my local bank account so I can send money to my family. Also I'm keeping one local credit card since I have my 20 years unit link (retirement fund + insurance) deducted monthly. (The insurance is Cigna and I can't make payment via bank account). When the money is due will my acquired U.S citizenship influenced the payment? I am working hard and taking lots of over time so I can pay them all by October next year. Your inputs and advices are highly appreciated. Thank you. Only the financial situation of the US citizen is important in this process, because he is the one who needs to meet some requirements and proof that he can support you once you are in the US. At the interview (at the Consulate), the non-USC is not asked to provide any financial info (unless the procedures are very different at the Consulate in Jakarta ). I would say that you and your fiance have nothing to worry about regarding this issue. Good luck! edited to add: I, myself, still have financial responsibilities back in Romania. My life sucks to begin with and I just found out by calling USCIS that I am to receive an RFE dated 12/16/10. UUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!! After all these months of waiting. I am mortified oh man ...hang in there! It may be for something as small as a missing signature or unticked box... Once you reply to the RFE you should be approved in a couple of weeks or so.
