anyhoo, last week i got laid off from my job, i was having such a bad day that by the time they called me into the office I was like whatever, I handled myself very proffessionally (apparently they expected me to go off) it was jenelle's first b-day and they gave me the letter and I looked at my boss and said i was looking for him so i could leave early, read the package came in the next day and told them i didn't like the package and what i wanted and i got more severance than i asked for. so i am VERY happy, it pays to live good but of course mr jengs keeps leaving a list to do in the morning and keeps calling me asking what i'm doing.

anyhoo i'm off to bring him his lunch and get my do done. later ladies I'm going to have to read up later.

congrats ms. english on the job offers! hug that baby for me.

Okay I have to put this out there. Now, the Pier was packed and I didn't know that my fiance was walking towards me. r I don't know when my fiance's FIST made contact with INDIANS's face, but he was out like a light. Security picks him up threw him and his friends outside and told the friends after he wakes up he's not allowed to come back to the club for several months. That was Friday night.

Fast forward to Saturday night at Magaritaville he tries to start sh*t in there too, so my fiance and his friends was like anytime you ready. I told him and his friends NO, he's not worth and and I told my fiance your A$$ don't need to get into any trouble because our interview is in a few days, so we left and go to a dance one of his friends was having. Well, you think he would have learned his lesson from getting knocked the hell out from the night before. Him and his massive crew shows up and the dance (which had no SECURITY) tried to start some mess. My fiance's best friend gave him his car keys and told him to leave because our car was parked to far up the hill and the crowd of men were coming down the hill. We leave and go back to the hotel since it was about 5 in the morning. My fiance's friends call us around 5:30 and told us that the police had to rescue INDIAN and his friends. First of all how you going to try and start a fight with your crew in an area they not from and no one knows them. So, they got beat the hell down and a lot of men who was at the dance remembered that he tried to spit on me in the club and my man had to knock him out.

Even better; his new wife was sent a letter informing her that he had two prior filings that were no completed. I'm guessing from USCIS. We also found out that he was married before in Jamaica in the 90s (don't know what happened with that) The new wife also found about the pregnant woman. So, now he's facing a lifetime ban. Haaaaaaaa is all I can say.

don't even bother going there, we were there last night cause mr jengy needs his meds, THEY WOULD NOT SEE US, a chat bout go the emergency room, so let me get this straight, we have to go the emergency room, pay $100.00 for the emergency room visit for meds that cost $4.00. Mind u there were doctors there, but because we don't have medicaid then they don't have to see us. mr jengy has an appt for 8/4 so a 30 day prescription would have been fine. I had to tell the nurse, most doctors i wouldn't even have had to come into the office, i should have been able to call, have them look in the file and either they would have called the perscription into the pharmacy or have me come and get it. this is his diabetic meds, so its not like he doesn't need them. She looked shocked that stuff like that actually happens whistling.gif

at the end she got mad for us, cause she said most times they have to beg the doctors to see the patients even if their own patients walk in then they don't want to see them and she's tired of it. They supposedly have a good diabetic program, but to me the emergency room is for just that emergencies, not for perscriptions.

Andre's birthday is Sunday. Last year, not one of his family nor friends remembered to call him on his birthday, before or after for that matter, to wish him a happy birthday. I have been on a mission this year to ensure he is not so disappointed again. I e-mailed all our family and friends here in the US and asked them to just send him a card.

He just called me.....He got 17 cards in the mail today. 15 from my goofy Aunt who apparently knows George Bush, Tiger Woods, and a bunch of other people. Our YMCA exercise class and Mindy & Roy round out todays. He was laughing and sounded so happy. We are going out to dinner in his honor tonight.

I know for a fact he's getting a card and a gift when he works his side job tomorrow. Hopefully more cards too.

My SIL is calling to sing to him Sunday (even though this is actually torture). We are going to do something to celebrate....a movie or rollerskating maybe. Then, we are having dinner at my mom's in his honor.

I will be damned if he is upset this year! Not if I can help it.

For us, Andre had to be work authorized to apply for his SSN. It didn't happen till he got his green card.

You apply for the EAD, AP, and AOS all at the same time with the one fee. Just make sure to include the evidence for each seperately as they process them seperately. Of course, none of this can be done till you marry. Cart before the horse.


Thanks JG! I think the only reason for Louis' to get SS# now is to get his driver's License. They JUST (june 1st) past a law here that you need to have ss# to get a Maine DL.

He left a taxi down there to help his kids and us out and left his little brother to drive it. Are you sure of this? Not to sound jaded; but I take what some say with a grain of salt. I had a friend who bought 1/2 into a taxi with her husband and BIL and I heard this exact story. When they finally made it down to check on him, it was all a tale.

And without going into further details today, I've heard lots of stories that have not been the case in the end.

Just be sure before you do anything else financially. You could be being played.


One of my friends suggested getting a picture of the car, because this happened to one of her siblings or brother in law in Ghayna (sp). but they don't have a digital camera. mr jengles wants to go down there now, he's had it with his little brother. I want him to wait until Jan to go because by then he should have had his biometrics appt, his drivers license and be about to finish his ged class, not to mention daycare expenses.

I wouldn't take the chance with an expired passport. When Aaron and I came in Oct, there was one guy who had an expired passport and they had him in that room that we were in. They let him off with a warning, but the next time he would be fined $500. In the meantime, they fined the airline (Air Jamaica) for letting him travel with an expired passport.

Dem can mek a nice pissa change still. Anywhere between $500-1200 JA. per day. What we do is, Ken has him run it for him 5 days and 1 day is deh drivas portion. The guy we have has been absolutely amazing. Very professional and ON POINT wid deh funds! When Ken comes up we will move it to a 4-2 day ratio, because the guy is so good. We don't want to lose him. Plus he will be doing extra errands like bank deposits for us and dropping off piece to Ken's brothers. The only problem is when deh ride break down...but thus far it's been minor.

But it's a hustle cause dem pack up deh people like sardines fi mek dem $$. I don't even use the taxi when I go down. We usually just rent a car...cause my big body likes SPACE!!! jest.gif

Deyoungting, where is the taxi driving - I thought the average rate is $2500 - $3000 a day and the driver keeps the rest of the day and gets one whole day for himself.

haha mr jengles couldn't get with the rules too at first and having to read all the signs before he parks. we saw a car getting towed last week Wed and I made sure I pointed it out to him and said the poor guy isn't going to be able to get his car back until friday...

mr jengles just wants to sell the car, he had realized the brother wasn't doing him right and was just waiting for the title to come.

This is a lesson learned, who wouldn't want a house to live in and a car to drive around at will, boy I tell ya!!

mr jengles is stressing about his kids now. I told him to go down next month and sort stuff out.

deyounting - If i got the brother on the phone right now, he wouldn't belive say ah me, when I was done. and I spoke to him last week and he had the nerve to call mr jengles on thursday to say he couldn't make any money off the car again.
