if you want your case to be transferred to vancouver, then you will have to contact vancouver consulate

our petition was sent to italy by mistake...my fiance lives in albania, so i had to contact the consulate in albania and have them speak to the naples consulate about the transfer...it didnt take very long at all...maybe a week tops

Well, I was doing a little research into one Mr. Paul Novak, so I googled his name and that video showed up. Apparently they have hidden all contact information for Mr. Novak so that you cannot bother him. He's obviously too busy ensuring that VSC runs properly. whistling.gif

As far as their status, I don't know, but there was one comment on the video page that made me feel like they had finally been approved.

I would think that if adjudicators are out on leave they would transfer their cases to someone who was actually there working. It does not make any sense that they would keep some people in limbo while letting others get by wacko.gif

does anyone know if it is possible for the embassy to send out packet 3 before they recieve that hard copy?

our case was transferred from naples to tirana on the 5th, and the woman on the phone from DOS told me that packet 3 was sent on the 6th...does that mean that tirana send packet 3, or naples??? im guessing it means tirana, but they definitely wouldnt have recieved packet 3 by then...confusion!!!

it will tell you which documents you need to mail into the embassy, and which ones you will need to bring with you to the interview...once you turn in packet 3, the embassy will mail you packet 4 which will tell you your interview date

Some embassies are combining packet 3 and 4, in which case you will only get one.

Of those of you that have their petitions at NVC....Did ou get a TOUCH before it was sent but AFTER your approval????????????????????????/


yes, i got a touch the day after my NOA2 and my petition was recieved by the NVC 2 business days after the touch...i think its 2 business days, but it could be 1 business day depending on whether or not they worked the day after thanksgiving

yea, the NVC is super super fast, but im still waiting because my petition is in naples, italy at the WRONG CONSULATE...booooooooooo...i did get the NOA2 hard copy though...i got it a couple of days after i saw the status update online...i dont know the exact date though, because it was sent to my mom's house and i don't live there good.gif

they can have a NOA2 in 3 days, it will be many more months to get an interview with the embassy.

well that certainly would depend on the embassy...if youre like me, going through tirana, albania...im pretty sure there wont be much of a line waiting for an interview there...theres only about 20 people on vj who have ever listed it as there consulate...even less people actually got to the point in the process where they actually had the interview there (or they stopped updating their timeline)...i just wanna get the heck outa VSC, and ill be on my way!!!
