United Kingdom	London Interviews 2006 (NEW)	I'm looking at the list of interviews.....could anyone inform me on why cmltdg,jpkeswim,Mary&Tom, and TrueloveFL are Pending? Why didn't they approved, if anyone remembers? cmltdg, jpkeswim, Mary&Tom: All pending I-601 waivers, taking anywhere from 4-12 weeks to process in London. Trueloveinflorida: Was not given a visa pending additional evidence; we never did find out why the CO requested the evidence or if he was ever issued the visa. United Kingdom	London Interviews 2006 (NEW)	Thanks for the help everyone. I wasn't aware you could schedule your own medical, I thought for some reason they gave you that date! So, I'm correct in thinking James can call tommorow and schedule his medical as soon as possible Yes. and once we have sent Packet 3 in we should email London and tell them everything is sent and we're ready for an interview ASAP? You can send back the consular visa forms whenever you want, but London will not schedule an interview until they receive IV-15 (the checklist). Which means that you can send back everything at once (Ewen did this) or you can send back the visa forms whenever you have them filled out, and the checklist whenever you have everything squared away. I mean, it isn't a massive rush, he doesn't plan on leaving England until about a month before the wedding, so the end of April. Seeing as people are getting interviews about the beginning of March now I think we should be ok going the non-emailing and rushing London (if that's possible!) route but I think we might email them anyways just to be safe. If he's planning on leaving England at the end of April, I would get on all of this NOW. London is still lagging a good month or two between paperwork receipt and interview dates--Ewen waited three months between sending back his paperwork and having his interview. The folks who are e-mailing aren't notifying London of anything--they're just checking on the progress of their applications and whether or not they have a date scheduled yet.	pax	Female	United Kingdom	2006-01-30 15:33:00

United Kingdom	U.S. Citizen not allowed in U.K.	People have been put on the plane back home for less: First time I went to the U.S in 2002, I nearly got knocked back at immigration for not having the address I was staying at in the U.S, but fortunately the immigration lady alowed my friend to call our mate that lived in Baltimore on a payphone in the airport to get his address. Oh, aye. Just ask Ewen my address NOW. He'll never forget it again after having had to get a flight attendant to find me in the Arrivals lounge and write it down for the Immigration people! For me it was an ideal opportunity to wean myself off the ####### I used to eat in the UK and vow never to eat any of the ####### in the US cos it seems far, far worse. So far, so good! United Kingdom	London Embassy Graduates Thread	Well, a comprehensive update for all the London grads... Ewen's been here about two-and-a-half weeks now. We're not wasting any time with AOS stuff—we've already got his vaccination supplement sorted (well, mostly sorted...the CS made a mistake on the form so they're re-doing it at no cost), his SS # application in (yes, he was "in the system," so it was problem-free) and my boss is getting my employment letter for the I-864 ready. We'll have a busy couple of weeks ahead—once Ewen gets his SS #, we'll be getting him a bank account (probably we'll get the I-864 notarized at the same time), and then we'll be filling out the rest of the paperwork...oh, yeah, and getting hitched! I printed off a copy of my tax return today, so I'll have that for the I-864, and next week I'll ask my boss to write me a new employment letter. We're also sending off the DS-3025 to be transcribed by a CS in Seattle for the I-693A. Better to pay $35 and do it by mail than drive for at least an hour and pay at least $80 around here! Then in about a week and a half, we'll hit up an SS office and see if we can't get Ewen a Social Security number. Right now, we're focused mostly on getting the flat in order; Ewen is of course having lots of fun hooking up all of his electronic gadgetry, putting CDs on my new mp3 player that he gave me , and organizing his closet! I just followed Kyleer's link and called the office in Seattle...Denise was very helpful....alll we have to do is fax the vaccination records from Andrew's DR. (no form DS-3025 needed and all they really care about is MMR and tetanus) along with a money order for $35 and they will fax over EVERYthing you need. They are located in Seattle and are more than willing to fax. This is honestly THE easiest and best solution, I think. I warned her that she may have a few more people calling but she was VERY nice. United Kingdom	London Embassy Graduates Thread	He didn't get a DS-3025 at his medical? *sigh* If not, then he will need the full complement of vaccinations, or else titre tests proving that he does not need them, as required. But he will not need a complete medical exam. This is most certainly IS more of a headache than the original application process. But I've got to say that with Pax around everything is made 100,000,000 times easier. Pax, I don't know what I would have done without your help and input throughout this process. Thank you sooooo much. I think that you could honestly make a career out of being a visa advisor or something. You seem to know more than the USCIS people themselves!!! I found that link that you were referring to regarding the whole vaccination supplement and it was VERY helpful...just wish I had known about all of this before Andrew went off to his medical. We're just going to call Nuffield tomorrow and see if they can fax us the DS-3025 form and in the meantime will try to locate a civil surgeon in the area to transfer that info onto the I-693A form (which I spent such a long time trying to find on the USCIS website but I guess it's not there and you must obtain it from the civil surgeon). BLAH! All of this just to prove that he was vaccinated! Ah well....thanks again Pax for taking the time to answer questions that you've already answered a million times before!!!!
