K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresDenied :( in Jamaica

No his previous one was not cancelled sat in the system for over a year with out any updates and the tier 2 lady apologized because she said mine should have stopped at the NVC and one if them should have been cancelled out. At the interview the officer said he denying both applications so it will close the previous one out and we will have to re start the process.

As far as his charge there is no police report to validate the charge and that does make a relationship valid.

Malta, sorry to hear about your situation. But as others have alluded to, I think it may be the previous K-1 application that triggered the denial. I have to wonder though, what happened to the woman who filed the previous K-1, why the application was allowed to sit in the system for 12 months without any NOAs to/or action from either party? Its a good thing that you are being proactive and doing some leg work where your application is concerned. I would also call USCIS to ensure that both applications have been cancelled. Don't want when you put in the I-130 later, to find out that a K-1 application is still open. Sorry it got to this end.

However, I agree with the other VJers. Forget about appealing and all that has happened with the K-1 visa. Plan your wedding to take place when you visit in April. Start like asap to document all your evidences..chat logs, photos, phone calls, emails, etc. Be diliberate about your conversations when you talk and not just talk about trivial things. Discuss issues that will give a picture that you both are committed to a life together (where you will live, budgeting for your life together, job interests, further studies, children etc). If you love him as you say you do (and he loves you), then both of you should do what is necessary to prove that your relationship is all about love and nothing else.

Good luck and stay positive.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresProof of Ongiong relationship

Chat logs are stored on your computer if your settings allow.  My husband and I have Yahoo IMs since we met over a year ago. (won't be printing all of that). Yahoo logs even capture the length of time you spent on a Video call.

Capturing Facebook evidence is also good. Post photos of you and your partner with friends or together, caption the photo (John/Jane and I at a particular location on one of your visits), showing your lactation, and "like" the photo. This will show up on your friends feed and then their comments will be captured. You then click on the photo with all the comments, printscreen and paste it in a word document as a photo, or in Paint app in Microsoft Suite. If no one comments at the time you upload it...make a comment again and it will again show up on their current feed.

I've also copied and pasted a series of selected photos of both of us on visits to each other's country, pasted those in a word document and caption them showing the evolution of our relationship (which could also serve as back up to the chat logs - including the very INTIMATE discussions smile.png) . Print out those in colour to be attached to the application. We are being very deliberate about the evidences we gather.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresG-325A Fiance's Address Questions

My husband completed my G-325A form and left the area for my signature blank. He however indicated below that I would sign when I go in for my interview. There are also postings on VJ (a USCIS Memorandum included) that the beneficiary do not have to sign the G-325A form before it is sent in.

Hope that helps.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresHELP!

I was told on here, that at the time of your interview, your Passport must have at least six (6) months remaining on it before the expiration date. My passport expires March 2015 and I made sure I renewed it early, although my I-130 is not yet approved. Try posting in the Brazil forum to see if there's anyone there with similar experience. Someone else can weigh in to give you more info.
