I'm having one of those lonely days missing my woman, and of course it's the middle of the night too so not the best time to call (I don't think she'd mind a call at 3 am but the rest of her family probably would rather I wait about 6 hours hehe). The weeks are flying by these days, and every time we hit another weekend, the next week that goes by is a more significant portion of the total time left. Of course, it'd be nice if igor's list would show some serious movement, enough of these slow approval weeks and I'll lose faith in my optimistic projection of when we'll start seeing NOA2's (and so far no new july noa2's that I've seen... I did just notice http://www.visajourn...l...l=&id=48967 , how lucky of them). HOLY COW! I can't believe they process that fast there! I'm so jealous right now! We start the visa process again this week, just waiting on our marriage certificate and some affidavits to put in the package from family hopefully it will all go smoothly and at the start of next year we will finally be together properly. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	August 2008 fillers	We were able to pull it off at low expense with a bargin dress from Davids (and my daughter's too) and some good buys on linen shirts from Men's Wearhouse and khakis from all sorts of places. We rented a beachouse for the week instead of paying hotel fees and used it as the venue as well. Awesome cheesecake from the Cheesecake factory and we were good. We spent the entire week at Bodega Bay (where The Birds was filmed) bonding as a new family. Just as the ceremony was over..an Orca started breaching and spouting just off the shore...crazy! We're going to go to Bodega Bay in CA (home of the The Birds) and stay in a beach house for the week and get married there on that beach. Dad is on his way from Branson and the rest of the group will be the there soon. Just our grown kids, parents, siblings and my two best friends. His family isn't able to afford the trip right now so that's a bummer. Will be making DVD's for them for sure. Will post piks when we get back. I also wanted to share with my VJ family that we have chosen a date of 09-09-09 and will be getting married in Bodega Bay CA (where Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds was filmed). We've rented a beach house for the week and will be spending that time with our grown children and my younger brother having "family time" and a wedding on the beach. Just found out today that at least some of his family is able to come over for it so that was lovely to hear. Its all about the frustrations of this process and long distance between us and our loved ones. I left home a week after i got my visa and as much as i was excited about coming to be with my fiance, i was sad and torn inside the pain () leaving my family behind. My mum's sad eyes and my sisters tears still linger in my mind. I know she was happy for me but i think just the long distance to be was finally a reality. My jaja ( grandmum) said a prayer on phone, before i switchedit off. I have been a flight attendant for 5 years until i quit to join my fianc'e , i enjoyed TAKEOFFS the most but this timeround i was ripped apart as I TOOK OFF!! OMG you just ripped my heart out!! I can't explain how frustrating and nerve wracking it was to see others with similar circumstances (same country, etc) being approved that were submitted many days after our petition. But then, most everyone here already knows that frustration. So if you are waiting, hang in there! The wheels may move very slowly and illogically, but they DO move!
