Hi there! How soon after your BIO was done was your file updated? (And I'm assuming you mean when you check your status online?). Just had my BIO this past Friday and am already antsy and looking for my approval as I see how quickly they are issuing the approvals! Congrats to everyone already approved btw! HOORAY!

Our weight was 1 1/4 lbs ..I can't imagine everything you had... We had evidence for 2007 to 2009 with pictures for each year and tax returns for 2007 and 2008, birth cert. marriage cert, bank and loan info..also copies of our driver license's, her green card even the mailing cards the green card and work permit came on.. Also all NOA's ..etc.., also copies of our passports even our daughter ,, Well in doubt bury them in paperwork smile.gif

My plan is to send on Tues the 8th and I'm sure it won't be 3lbs "Wow" just making sure I have copies of the last two years of tax forms,Copies of all NOA's, marriage cert., birth cert of our daughter, Bank statements, last couple pay stubs, Pictures from first meeting till about 5 days ago, $545 check with have both our names on it and same address since green card issued, copies of all passports including daughter and anything else comes to mind.. whistling.gif and anything else to show that the marriage is valid

My Flight took 20-22 hours....But the actual longest one was 10 hours in the air.. I took a book... plus we watched two movies..
I had a lay over in Frankfurt for 6 hours..and another in San Francisco for 2 hours..

Can a Jet stay in the air 17 hours..without refueling ? hahahahhah if so...I don't think my butt could..





I like the suggestion about the "easy to read" magazines . . . something mindless to use up some time and be entertained.


I guess I'm an odd duck. My airplane ritual always includes getting a copy of the economist :whistle:

As far as I know there isn't a problem unless your from one of those special countries.. :whistle: .. I'm 50 now and Veronica is 31... We didn't have one problem with USCIS, US Consulate or anyone..

So I wouldn't get to concerned about this...just make sure you have plenty of evidence of meeting and follow the guides here..


So now that we have the NOA2 notice and then waiting for the rest. Interview, etc. I just want to know from anyone out here why age would make a difference to the embassy in Casa. Love knows no age and if two people are in love and it just so happens the woman is much older, so what? :blink: I am 55 and my fiance is 34. We are very much in love, he is so kind and caring and NO he is NOT using me to get to the USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We know all we need to about each other, we have seen the questionaire they might use in order to know if he does know about me. SO what is the you know what problem?????????????????? :angry: :angry: :angry:

So why can't a person who has fallen in love with someone be such a big deal at Casa? I bet if the truth is known there are some people who work there who might have a SO younger than they are.

One-way tickets are a red flag to any immigration officer looking at the green slip that is the VWP entry form.

I would know... I was stuck in San Francisco's secondary customs for over three hours because of a mistake I made on my plane ticket some time in 2007, and did not have a return ticket. Luckily my then-fiancé was there and they interrogated us both, did thorough searches before letting me buy a return ticket for the end of my VWP and let me go. Thank goodness we had a 7 hour layover in SFO! biggrin.gif

As for the OP, sorry to hear about your problem. Mistakes can be made, yes. But in your case, your fiance made the same mistakes one too many times. I guess it can be due to oversight, but I believe that's unlikely. I've always travelled on the VWP prior to moving here, and it was always at the back of my mind that I didn't have a lot of time left here, and would always check to see if I had overstayed or not, and I don't see how you can overstay for more than a month. I can probably understand a week or so, but not several months at a time.

And definitely not more than once. Sounds more deliberate than anything.

Alrighty, I think I got my information down pat this time. If someone could help me update the thingamabob, that would be awesome! So our NOA Rcpt date was 7/11, and our Biometrics appointment is 8/5 (TOMORROW OMG)! So yeah, if someone could update those, that would be perfect :D

Hey guys!! I haven't had the time to get on my computer so I thought I'd come on here temporarily via my phone.

My package was mailed out to the CSC on July 9, received July 11 and check cashed on July 15. NOA arrived some time this week it looks like... Be back in a couple of hours... :)

Add me to the list please! Also because my phone is stupid, can someone tell me how long the waiting period is for I-751 filets with the CSC please?
