Saludos a monokoke y a todos que Dios Los colme de bendiciones Dalia Martesa y Dalia: muchas gracias por sus felicitaciones; si, ya muy aliviada y contenta que mama tiene su residencia y ya recibio su numero de Seguro social; ya no mas Inmigracion! Pero no me puedo quejar porque salbvo mi problmea de huellas digitsles ilegibles no tuve ningun inconveniente gracias a Dios y a Diana! Regrese de Bogota hace una semana; tenia 2 anios y medio de no ir; mis amigos, familia y mi exesposo (que es como mi hermano ) se portaron super! Eso si, despues de tanto tiempo uno ya se aturde con el ruido y trafico; quien lo iba a decir; asi me paso cuando regrese de Europa a Colombia despues de 3 anios; estaba aturdida y ya a los dos meses andaba bien adaptada de nuevo a nuestro desorden Nada pero NADA como la comida Colombiana!!! Hace poco estaba pensando en Ud. y en el proceso de su mamá y me alegra mucho que todo les salió a la perfección, las felicito a todas. Para el viaje a Colombia, como Ud. no ha rechazado su ciudadanía colombiana, sigue siendo colombiana y por ley debe entrar al país con el pasaporte colombiano. Ya cuando regrese sí debe presentar el pasaporte americano. Diana Gracias Dianita! Me llamaste con el pensamiento entonces! Aun no creo ya termine todo los procesos inmigratorios! (Parte 2)	Hola todos, Bueno solo para comentarles que mi mama recibio su tarjeta de residente permanente hoy ; No tuvo ni entrevista, no recibi ningun RFE; todo salio perfecto; trabaje ese paquete muchisimo y tambien con la ayuda espectacular de Diana! Envie ambos paquetes I130 y I485 al mismo tiempo el 28 de febrero 2012, USCIS lo recibio el 1 de marzo 2012 y lo traslado al California center el 17 de marzo; mama fue a su cita de biometrics el 26 de marzo y en septiempre 4 me llego la aprobacion del 130 por mail y la del 485 por texto a mi celular. No entrevista, no RFE, nada!!! Muchas pero MUCHAS gracias Diana por toda tu ayuda; a la final si meti a mi hermana como joint sponsor pues igual ella tiene agregada a mama como su tax dependent so preferi pecar de exceso y no de omision. Ohh, pregunta Dianita: voy a viajar a Bogota pronto y me pregunto: debo solo viajar con mi pasaporte americano o tambien llevar el colombiano? tengo tambien el venezolano pero ese se vencio; no me pidieron ningun pasaporte de mis otras nacionalidades en las entrevistas; siempre he viajado con todos en caso alguna duda por dos nacionalidades pero no se ahora como va este rollo Saludos a todos y de corazon deseo les vaya de lo mejor en todos sus proyectos! Todo mi proceso alli fue Lento y today petición que una hace, se toman meses para decir no. Yo no entiendo que fue todo ese ruido que hicieron con la famosa standarización y calidad. El único cambio ha sido un dibujo mas en el membrete. Pero esto es solo mi experiencia, quizas alguien ha sido afortunado. Un abrazo, Marymoon Hola a todos, Marymoon, yo hice todo el tramite para estudiar Derecho aqui en Seattle y alcance a recoger todos los transcripts de las universidades y llegaron al LSAC;y aun todos estan ahi; les puedo deecir que los tramites en Venezuela y Colombia fueron super faciles en comparacion con los transcripts de Espana; quiero defender aqui un poquito a Colombia y la Javeriana especialmente que se portaron excepcionales; hice los pagos y solicitud por internet y entre en contacto co una chica de admisiones que se hizo cargo de todo lo mio y se lo entrego a mi exesposo (el siempre me ayuda con mis cosas en Bogota, ) y luego de las traducciones el los volvio a llevar y las certificaron. Fueron una maravilla la verdad y no tuve ningun problema. En Espana si que fue complicado que me entendieran lo que queria. Tambien se que los Andes tiene un muy buen servicio para transcripts.Asi que personalmente no creo sea un problema generalizado en Colombia sino que supongo que algunas Universidades no tiene mucho conocimiento de este tramite. Desisti de estudiar porque encontre un trabajo que me pide mucha dedicacion y la verdad es bueno; ademas que con la hipoteca adquirir semejante prestamo se me hizo demasido pesado y con tristeza desisti. Mi esposo me apoyaba pero decidi ubicarme con los estudios que tengo y ya vere despues que hago aqui de estudio; apenas cumpli un anio en mi nuevo trabajo. El LSAT es super dificilisimo pero no desistas Marymoon; yo me prepare un monton pero no lo llegue a presentar por el cambio de trabajo.Si no lo logras esta seguro sera la proxima. (Parte 2)	Hola buenas Noches: Quiero contarles que mi Padre murió el 01 de mayo y pues solo pude viajar a Colombia el 8 pera acompañar a mi Madre y mi hermana... Sin embargo muchas gracias por los mensajes. Se que en algún lado de los foros están unos ejemplos de cartas de invitación, pero no los encuentro... Si alguien me colabora con eso se los agradecería. Mi Dios los bendiga. Carolina, Mis sinceras condolencias; mi papa murio hace 13 anios y a la muy temprana edad de 51 anios; fue un golpe durisimo y entiendo muy bien por lo que estas pasando. Este es un periodo de duelo porque alguien amado se ha ido y hay que vivirlo; solo puedo asegurarte que con el paso del tiempo el dolor que estas sintiendo se aliviara y los recuerdos de los momentos vividos permaneceran contigo por siempre. Siempre pagó por su seguro médico en Colombia y se hacía todo allá pero hace dos años acá en USA se cayó y se fracturó la espalda horrible, el caso es que recibió muy buena atención médica pero todo costó $250,000. Luego de negociar todo con el hospital y los doctores le rebajaron el total al 5% gracias a Dios, pero de todas maneras quedó con una deuda de casi $13,000 que aún sigue pagando. Entonces por más que uno se cuide o se haga los chequeos médicos en Colombia, si no tiene seguro médico en USA le toca pagar por un ojo de la cara. Diana Hola Dianita, Espero que tu mama este totalmente recuperada; que barbaridad de factura! Claro si yo que apenas tuve una cirugia menor y me toco paca como 1200 de mi parte y esta costo $29000 como sera una lesion de esa magnitud ; de verdad que me asombra de sobremanera lo que aqui ocurre con la cobertura en salud... Mexico, Latin & South America	COLOMBIANOS VIVIENDO EN LOS EE.UU. (Parte 2)	No Diana para nada, pelota mi hermana y yo hacer esa infamia con mi padre. En cuanto a lo que voz dices del seguro medico de visitantes, estuvimos averiguando para mi suegro y en un futuro para mi padre si quiere venir de turista (aunque lo dudo). Y tampoco cubren las Pre-existencias y todo lo desarrollado basado en ellas. Algunas companias de seguros no te lo dicen pero lo aplica, algunos son mas honestos y si, es mejor que les preguntes, pero lo que nos decia la senora en Bogota que vende los seguros es que ninguna las cubre. Yo que yo le recomendaria a Yazz que la mamá continue cotizando su seguro en Colombia, que no se desafilie, hasta que encunetre algo que cumpla con las expectativas de cubrimiento de un adulto mayor. Averiguate lo que te dice Diana lo del Medicaid aver que y nos cuentas. Fredy y Diana, Muchisismas gracias por ayudarme con este tema; me tocara tomarme mi buen tiempo y empezar a averiguar bien por aqui de un seguro de salud; si Fredy, mama tiene su seguro de salud en Colombia y lo utiliza bastante cada vez que viaja para hacerse chequeo medico general; cuando esta aqui pues mi hermana que es medico le cheque tension y otros temas basicos; creo ella le compro un seguro para emergencias cuando esta aqui pero no se que cubre. Espero tu papa se encuentre muy bien Fredy; afortunadamente pudo detectar el problema a tiempo y los medicos alla en Colombia lo ayudaron. Para ser totalmente sincera extrano mucho la atencion medica de Colombia; esto aqui es cosa seria; cuanto hay que aprender de la seguridad social en Europa que aunque este siendo afectada por las crisis economicas (vease los cambios que esta aplicando Espana) alla consideran la salud como un derecho fundamental y no un privilegio de pocos; esto debe cambiar aqui algun dia. Si teniendo seguro medico supuestamente bueno uno paga deducibles, copagos,etc que son bien costosos no imagino lo terrible que debe ser estar sin cobertura medica . (Parte 2)	La mayoría de compañías de seguro de salud en USA no cubren a los padres, entonces les tocaría llamar a varias compañías para tener diferentes cifras y tomar una decisión. Pueden llamar a compañías como Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, entre otras para ver cuál ofrece la mejor cobertura para su mamá. Diana Tu dices de sacar un seguro solo para ella? Es necesario tener la residencia permanente y el SSN? O debemos esperar? Estoy con Aetna y antes Premera Blueshield; como son planes corporativos son "buenos" en comparacion con lo que uno ve aqui (shocking...) pero para una sola persona deben ser muy exigentes..pero ni modo, peor es nada... (Parte 2)	Hola Dianita, Estamos averiguando de seguro medico para mama pero no sabemos si debemos esperar a que tenga su SSN despues de recibir la residencia permanente o si exista alguno que pueda cubrirla desde ya. Sabes tu o alguno de los miembros de este foro de alguna compania de seguros que cubra a mi mami? con cobertura en NY/WA state? mi seguro no la admite ya que no puedo afiliar a padres y no creo mi hermana pueda tampoco aunque mi mama es uno de sus tax dependents o si podra bajo esa circunstancia? Ud. ya tiene la ciudadanía y no tiene nada que ver con ellos referente a su estado migratorio ya que es ciudadana americana. Sin embargo llámelos para ver qué le dicen. Diana Efectivamente Dianita; los llame esta manana y me dijeron "please disregard it"; al parecer fue un error del sistema y esta notificacion le llego a mucha gente segun me dijo el chico que me atendio. Hoy, con my certificado de ciudadania y pasaporte americano en mano me llego una citacion del USCIS para ir a biometrics el otro mes ya que el FBI no pudo leer las primeras y esto supuestamente con la finalidad de proseguir con mi proceso de remocion de condiciones I751! USCIS ya tiene no 1 sino 3 juegos de certificados policiales de los dos sitios en los que he vivido en Seattle; no puedo entender lo que esta pasando y claramente dice que es para el proceso de remocion de condiciones I751 en la citacion. Que debo hacer aqui Diana? Ya tengo programado llamar el Lunes a USCIS a ver quien se fumo una bien verde; debo ir a la citacion el otro mes? con que proposito? no quiero dejar ningun vacio aunque mi proceso ya este finalizado. Por otro lado te comento que hasta ahora lo de mi mama marcha bien, el proceso de I-130 y I-485 los meti 3 semanas despues de mi juramento y y mama tomo sus huellas a finales de marzo; el caso fue trasladado a California Center asi que confiemos todo siga sobre ruedas! Chester, I'm "Yazz and Marc" in this Visa Journey forum...I lived in Spain for 2 years as student and I already got the police check (called in Spain "certificado de antecedentes penales") , it was not easy, actually Spain consulate here in Bogotá gave me a impolite response, they ignore how to get this document and sent a response by email telling me "go to Venezuela to get that paper" because of I lived in Spain as Venezuelan (I have two nationalities)! so, that is waisted time...it is a large story but after several fruitness tries the only way to get this paper was through mail, they sent back by post the document even with apostille, I do not know if this will work out in my interwiew, I hope so... Please tell to your fiancee that she can call me in order to explain her carefully how to get this pc, I can email you my document duly scanned tas example how to fill it out, it is easy...she needs someone in Spain to buy the application form in an "Estanco" (she will knows what I mean) and fill it out carefully, in addition she need an address in Spain where the Ministry can send it back the response .... She told me that exam procedures are very disorganized and that more staff are needed to take on the numereous patients that attend. She told me that its imperative to take as much evidence as possible, one picture will not suffice as many interviewees' were denied because of the lack of evidence. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Colombia Club	It seems that only recently DAS is giving copies, that makes obvious the mistakes we are encountering, I wonder if DAS was perfect before, when is was secret(?) if not(this is more likely), the COs have not used this as a proof document. In my case I was(according to DAS), In Mexico, Quito, and Bogota, flying in 3 different airlines in the same day, also in franfurt, Bogota and Caracas, the same afternoon, and also I was born in January 1 1900( Iam 108 years old!!!!!!!!!!) there are 37 lines, and 16 errors, 41.7% wrong!!!!!!!!	gigisan	Male	Colombia	2009-01-20 21:12:00
