United KingdomThree quick questions (Ease of mind)

Hey Matt so I don't bog down my thread can I just PM you back and forth a bit.  My fiancee isn't online yet (so I'm doing this from Arkansas on my side)

Update:

Emailed Embassy (because while I trust Nich, the fiancee asked me to be 100% sure with the Embassy) and I was told not to worry by the US Embassy of London if we could not find the missing old passport.

Woot

Thank you for your inquiry.

You need not be concerned that you are unable to present all your previous passports. Detailed information on the documents required for your visa interview can be found on our website at

Thanks Nich.  You're a paranoia-easer as always.

I swear I've looked over questions 1-2 about 10 times and I'm pretty sure there's no barcode on MRV reciept so no concern there.  And case number is always blank when you edit everything and no spot to put that in so I think I'm fine.

So close to the finish line, interview on the 12th....oie vey

1, 2. Pass. I didn't do that so no experience.

3. Hasn't been a problem for others who didn't have old passports. Not sure why it even says that.

4. Confused. Explain why passport isn't photo ID. What is it for? To get in the embassy?

To sign for the package when DX mails the visa

For the form of ID, it's mainly just something to prove she's who she is when they deliver the passport via DX

Our current plan is a print out scan of her passport and a ID card she got at college.  Would that work for the VISA delivery?

Or should she address the package instead of her name to her Mum or Dad's name instead who do have photo ID's.

Thoughts?

Just to calm the paranoid, I could use a confirmation on the VISA/MRV

I followed all instructions to a T with the Fiancee on the guidelines by Nich (excellent as always) and just wanted to clarify two things.

1.  The reciept confirmation page never has a barcode right?

2.  Is Case number supposed to be blank?  I can't for the life of me see where we add that info in the profile.

 3.  You are supposed to bring all old passports to the embassy.  She's had three in her lifetime.  2 of them she has.  The oldest one she has no clue.  How critical will it be if she can't find it?

4.  Her only form of ID is her passport.  She does not have a drivers license.  She does not have any other form of photo ID.  Other than printing off a scan of her passport to keep, what would be the easiest form of ID to get in less than 2 weeks?

Thanks in advance for any help

United KingdomAnything I'm missing?

This is the info I got from Mattwood

" I only received it on email. I received 4 emails during the MRV payment process: 1. Yatri: U.S. DoS Visa system new user account verification; 2. Yatri: U.S. DoS Visa system confirmation of successful payment; 3. Yatri: U.S. DoS K Visa Application Confirmation (action required); 4. US Visa Personal Courier-In Instructions.

It is the final number 4 email that had the barcode on! Hope that clears it up. "

However, i heard as long as you have some kind of receipt that you paid for both (visa and delivery) the embassy is still ok without the bar code.  I just wanted to be uber prepared to I found ours.
