PhilippinesK2 Passes Interview

Yes, I'm not sure she will sleep tonight. She's moving to Seattle in two weeks herself so there is all that saying goodbye to Canada and her friends stuff, then a week or two later the daugther arrives. This will be the frist time they've lived together fo many many years. For me, it's an adjustment of two women and also for those two adjusting to each other. I think thier adjustment will provide some comic relief ad drama at times but I could be wrong. In any case, I wont understand the fast track Ilocano conversation between them and my "Guy" house will probably be rearranged at least 5 times while I'm at work.....

You are definitely right about the rearranged house! I am still trying to find things around my house after almost 3 years..... :P

This sounds very familiar  Claudeth says I am the husband and I am supposed to take care of her. Any money she earns is reserved for shopping  I have even supported her family for the past 5 years from the income of the chicken farm there by Cagayan De Oro.

I feel for you Brother Jim! :o

Don't take the Pre-Nup personally! He is only trying to protect his interest to everything prior to your marriage. It has nothing to do with trust! As others have said, get yourself an attorney too. You will ok! A big Congrats on your upcoming wedding!!

Philippinesfor the men with kids from an ex wife!!!!!

thank guys....it is just a tough situation!!!! I feel bad because I feel like Pam is in the middle of this.....I know she will try everything that she can to either aggrivate or try to put a wall between me,Pam and the kids ....but I hope she can see through it and see what the ex is trying to do!!!!

Be supportive with Pam. She understands what's going on. It's ashame these things happen. We are all entitled to be happy in our lives. No one should come between that!

Philippinesfor the men with kids from an ex wife!!!!!
Charlie, I could write a book about my first wife. Satan couldn't even get along with her.... It sounds like to me she is just jealous of you and your new wife. Hopefully in time she can accept it and go on with her life. Whatever you do, don't let this affect you and Pam... Tell the ex to go play tiddly winks in the middle of your nearest interstate..

PhilippinesJovit Baldivno
These kind of stories of young people really gives me hope in our future generation. Jovit has the talent to create a great future for himself as long as he can get the breaks that he deserves. The only thing I didn't like about this video is when the female judge singed along with him. This was his moment, not hers!!

Congrats. to you both. I remember my first trip there. It was really exciting for Ruchie and I! Have your BF bring a good magazine or book to read on his long flight. It can get quite boring on those long flights. Have a great time together and remember to take photos and to save receipts and boarding passes for your evidences later in the process.

PhilippinesMy life is over....

Thrpeeoh,
You have shown great courage expressing your gut-wrenching hardships, I know every member here can feel your pain. There will always be 2 sides to every story, however, in this case, you seemed to have done everything a man can do to salvage a marriage. Sometimes the simpliest of questions can answer alot of questions. Does your wife tell you that she loves you? Does she act in a way that would reflect she does in deed care about the marriage? Do you feel you have done your best to honor your vows? If the marriage is just a battlefield, and you feel all of this just isn't right..then perhaps it is time to listen to your heart and let this one go. Many of us here have been there and done that..you are still relatively young and perhaps you just deserve better. Your wives behavior is erratic at best and has no place in a love based marriage. The constant stress can have health complications for both of you..There is no easy choices in a heartbreak..but as painful as it can be..sometimes it is easier just to cut your losses, admit you just don't get along..and heal in time to love again. I wish you every good thing in the future. :)

Very well said!

Just checking up on the OP. How are you doing?? If you would like to PM me, feel free to do so. I will get back with you as soon as I can. There has been some great advice here, especially from Darnell. I hope things are better for you Bro. Keep your head up and be logical with every thing you do from here on out!!

PhilippinesMy life is over....
The others here have given you good advice. My thoughts and prayers are with you two. Marriage is constant work and no marriage should have any violence or any threat of violence. If she wants to go, let her go!!! You will pick up the pieces and continue on with your life.

Don't do anything stupid that you may regret later. Life is way too short to be in a unhappy relationship! We are only hearing one side here, but I am giving you the benefit of the doubt.

PhilippinesMedical today at St Luke's

For any others reading this thread:
Go to St. Lukes Tuesday thru Thursdays AFTER 1 PM. You'll beat the crowds and get done faster.

People from outer islands can fly over in the morning also and saves staying in a hotel the night before.
Wear loose fitting clothes. Take 2 ball pens, cellphone, passport, copy of NOA2, MNL#,4 passport pics. Appointment letter from USEM if you have it.
My wife and anak did their medicals 1 1/2 months before their interview. Sooner the better in case the sputum test is required.
If you are just getting started with the process. Have your mate get checked for TB ASAP.
There LOTS of TB in the Philippines. Chance of having been exposed is high.

Be sure she makes a copy of the DS 3025 [vaccination record.]

Great advice Dakine!!:thumbs::thumbs:

PhilippinesInterview timeline

Thanks for the replies everyone! Thanks Daruma :) She's been to the CFO in Cebu before too as a matter of fact. I thought she might want to do that too, BUT she'd rather endure a beating I think than to ride in a boat again!! LOL That girl hates boat rides!! We had to take that same trip to the embassy in Cebu and she was NOT happy!!  Neither was I really but the boat was the good part - the bus and the van about killed me with their 6" of leg room. I'm 6'3" and it was MISERABLE!!

Well Kevin, you got a point about the boat ride!! You are literally taking your life in your own hands! Anyway, I think she will be fine to whatever you both decide. There is actually no easy way through this. As long as mother nature(Period) is on her side, everything will fall into place.

Word of caution!! Ruchies CFO experience wasn't too good. She had all the documents that they wanted except 2 letters from the Hospices here that took care of my former wives that died of cancer. They had a problem with the dates that the Doctors signed the Death Certificates. I felt like I was being accused of their deaths. I was majorly pissed after all of this. Finally gave them what they wanted and then she got the CFO certificate. Just make sure you have all the required documents for CFO. Don't want anybody to go through that!!!!
