nope, Neil's medical was 11/11 - he never got results mailed to him, nor did they ever say they would. I thought they just went ahead to the embassy and were waiting for you there on interview day.

I sent off my DS forms today, i paid to get them there asp and it to be tracked. post office said be there monday , and the embassy have to sign for it. Did you get confirmation from DOS that the embassy has your file?

My fiance rang i think it was the DOS a few weeks ago and they said my package 3 had been prepared to send on september the 16th but i never recieved it, i posted on here and ppl said i didnt need it really because its just a link to the embassy website for the forms ( which i had already found) so i was told just to fill them out,i had my medical last week so that over and done with.

if you wanted you could ring the DOS again and find out if the embassy has received your medical results.. give it 5 days since the medical exam though. doing that was another thing that put my mind at ease that london has opened up my file

. I had my medical 20th of this month, iv already received a copy of my blood test results, so the embassy might have my result too (Hopefully). Im so nervous if i have got all the DS forms right, iv filled them out millions of times due to finding mistakes

the good thing about the checklist is that it asks when your travel date and wedding date is... so if you put that you're travelling april xxth then when london sees it im sure they'd take that into account and delay giving you a date for a while. there are people who are desperate to get over a lot sooner than that who they'll prioritise if you're happy to wait.

is there a reason you want it to get there before december 5th???

Grade Transcript Evaluation

Just a question for Brits enrolled or graduated from college programs in the states.

Im thinking of applying to go to school here, to get my Associate in Arts Degree. The only qualifications i have with me from England are 3 A levels. Does anyone know if these can count towards college credit?? I've been told foreign degrees can be transcribed to be counted as college credit, but i wasnt sure if the same was true of A levels.

Second question... on my visa application, I stated i had no intentions of studying over here. Will it matter that i've changed my mind?

i posted my review in the embassy review bit. im going to go to bed in a minute, i cant put into words how exhausted i am after my day today. i hardly slept at all last night though, which is probably why im so shattered right now! its a great feeling knowing i dont have this interview looming over my head anymore :-)

Can i ask a really stupid question though, from those of you who've had interviews....

so they take my passport to put the visa in... but i was expecting back all my documents in a file, which i have to hand in at immigration at POE. now i was given back my x ray... and originals of birth and police certificate, but nothing else. is this correct??

as i said before... im so super happy today is over

i cant quite believe it!!!

The K1 Visa processing time says July 18?

i called uscis today to check on my case in vermont ..my noa1 says july 27th today is the 200th day 6 months 2 weeks 1 day..the lady said i was in the normal time line ..she said it use to be 6 months now 7 to 8 months today is the 11th she said if i have not heard anything call back on march 11th ...so maybe any day now ...

Hi all

Just to let you know I flew London Gatwick to Los Angeles last week via Norwegian, which is a budget carrier running a couple of new long haul routes including the one I took.

I had a one way economy class ticket for less than £600.

I opted against shipping my belongings and instead packed out three large suitcases and figured I would just suffer the excess costs. Surprisingly, the airline gives you two pieces at 20kg max complimentary, and I booked the third in advance with the airline for a total of three pieces and 60kg in total. Still, I knew I would top this and noted their price of 11EU per additional kilo.

On checking in I came to learn my bags were super heavy, each peaking 30kg (yeah yeah, I know I should've weighed them before, but hey I didn't). UK airports will not receive bags over 32kg and I was asked to break down this weight into a fourth bag.

I did this and was then horrified to learn I had run up an excess baggage fee of over £300. But guess what? The check-in desks were advertising upgrade seats for £250 with extra baggage allowance. So obviously I didn't hesitate in upgrading, I flew first class with what appeared to be unlimited baggage allowance, and landed in LA happy, rested, and feeling like a boss.

Good advice for anyone POE'ing with all their stuff: FLY NORWEGIAN!

Checking other classes, when you think you may have baggage weight beyond what is allowed, is always a smart thing to do. Not only will you find that it's probably cheaper to upgrade your seat, to accommodate your baggage, but as you stated, probably a much better flight experience as well.

What is the best type of evidence to send with the K-3 visa as proof as an ongoing relationship? What is the best way to send pictures? Should I staple them or tape to a piece of paper? How many photos should I include? Does anyone have any suggestions for including Messenger conversations or Facebook conversations? I'm having some difficulty printing them.

Btw csc would never have had your I-130. It would have went to NBC with an MSC number and then it would have been moat likely forwarded to the local uscis office by the us spouse's address.

What happens when both K3 Visa and IR-1/CR-1 Visa are Filed

Usually they will be approved at the same time , both get to NVC together, and the K3 is closed there administratively. Once in while the K3 beats the I130 and gets processed.

It's like CSC is moving on now and approving alot on K1, hopefully they start approving k3
