IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	Me too. April 1 NOA1 got text today my file was transferred. Dont know where yet and waiting on hard copy. Whats the timeframe for NOA2 after the transfer???   I also received text today, my NOA1 file was transferred and another text saying I could see my case was updated on UCIS web site.. I recieved my NOA1 April 1st. and Just recieved my NOA2 yesterday with an approval notice. my case was a normal case and was not expedited at all. time between NOA1 and NOA2 was 205 days The only thing I recommend you do is to regualrly schedule an infopass appointment at your local office. keep hammering them to look at your case, hopefully getting it into the hands of an adjucator. So it does not matter about that. Thats silly stuff. I told here I been transferred to NBC for faster processing but it looks like taking the same time as Vermont. She said you till in the processing time all you have to do is wait and if nothing come up call us again. I think I am going to wait until I get to 5 months and do expedite request. and will see from there. So tier 2s must be as confused as we are. USCIS may give us all a surprise by finishing our cases at the last minute (just before the 5 month deadline). If not, we can file a USCIS e-Request at that time to get things moving again. Yes you are absolutely correct about the USCIS e-Request thought Ive been hearing some people are saying USCIS is saying that the deadline is now 6 months and not 5 but they were from the VSC. Lets hope for that last minute surprise! I guess Ill just wait and see what happens in 26 days when its been 5 months since my NOA1. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	I-130 August 2012 Filers	Thanks for the updates, my fellow remaining August 2012 filers! Unlike you, my case wasn't transferred to NBC because my NOA1 came before the August 15th cutoff. I thought all NBC transfers had been processed already (in just 2-3 months! lucky them ) and I was the last one remaining, at the bottom of CSC's pre-cutoff queue. I pray that we all get approved soon! Well you may be the one at the bottom of the pre-queue stack at the CSC but im sure im on the shelf at the local office in Atlanta and they just arnt touching any I-130s in Atlanta. Really sucks! I ask because I'm still waiting for my NOA2 from CSC... (it's been 136 days since my NOA1! ) On the plus side, there's only 17 more days until my petition exceeds CSC's 5 month processing timeframe! Once that happens, I will finally be eligible to place a USCIS e-Request to jump-start my petition! Nope. August filer here who was tranferred to the NBC and local office still waiting on my NOA2...sadly has been 4 months and 3 days now. I dont know much about other states but in Alabama, Senator Shelby, Senator Sessions, and Congressman Bachus responded quickly and I believe helped me out. My case was received by the NVC 1 month and a half after approval and still yet no case number. Be patient...Atlanta seems to be sending approvals in chunks monthly and thats when the NVC receives. I think they just enough of inquiries from multiple sources about my case, and went to hand pick my file this morning and approved it right away. I just hope they send it to NVC soon. Contacting senators is very important. I am not sure being an auditor also helped me but i told them what to ask and it made sense to them.   Abezyo: Any update on your file at NVC? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Atlanta Transferrers	Ladies and Gentlemen, my status has just changed to ?DECISION.? I received a call from my senators office that my case has been approved, and will get my NOA2 in the mail soon. Contacting senators really worked. I contacted both Senators and my congress man simultaneously. I also pushed that I had enough of the standard update ?we have your file? and needed specifics, and timeline to decision.   Please don?t wait to hear back from them, I called each of them at least 3 times a week to get update, and told them what to ask USCIS about my case (That is: specifics). I will keep you guys updated, because this forum is like my second home and I come here more than 20 times in a day.   I believe the congressional inquiry really worked, and to be honest, I pushed them VERY HARD. I will continue to pray that each and every one of you get your NOA2 very very soon.   Cheers!     Congrats bismark! I think they might have received it but havent entered it into their stupid system yet, which is very unaccepteable. You may want to keep calling them. You can also ask to speak to a supervisor, and be ready to send them a scanned copy of your NOA2. The entire process is worse than insanity.     Yeah ive been calling them ever so often. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Atlanta Transferrers	So I received a letter in the mail yesterday from NBC respondng to an inquiry I made about where my petition was and the letter stated that "our records indicate that your petition or application has been adjudicated at the local USCIS office Atlanta"  and that they would forward my letter to this office.  I'm confused because it says "has been adjudicated" yet I didn't even know it had been sent to Atlanta nor how long it has been here, but it uses the past tense so does that mean a decision has been made and I'm just waiting for a response from the Atlanta office?  I'm going to make an infopass appointment now that I know for sure, but I was just wondering if anyone else had received something like this in response to any inquiries?   It sounds like youve been reviewed...what does you case status say online? Your best bet is an infopass appointment. They could probably tell you a bit more. But if nothing has changed on your case status online, then most likely your file is sitting in Atlanta. I think her NOA date is August 18, and her timeline shows that she is still waiting for her NOA2. I hope the Atlanta is really processing our cases. I dunno if this was the reasoning behind my NOA2 but the day of my approval and the day I got my hardcopy NOA2 I recieved an email from my congressman and a letter from my senator. We applied end of November, and received our NOA 1 a couple of days later which shows to be from NBC. Did your case move to Atlanta? does every case get moved- or what is going on? Have not been notified by our lawyers about any changes. From what I we understand the Atlanta office is quite busy and cases ending there take longer. CONGRATULATIONS once again. Thank you November filers! Greatly appreciated! All I-130s that are stand-alone moved to local offices of the residing USC after August 15. If you are living abroad your case most likely stayed at the NBC. But there was a few rare cases I saw where someone was living abroad and it was transferred to a local office (they got into a big mess. They were danish.) My NOA1 date was August 21, 2012. My last update was September 4, 2012. So im assuming thats when it arrived in Atlanta. Atlanta is one of the busier places right now averaging around 7 1/2 months for an approval post August 15.
